See, the thing that trips me out about that is that the image is date 1973, and the last manned moon mission is from 1972. Well, I kept looking and found a site that I think looks a lot more like the WH08-S scenery. Pic related.
It happens to be Station 8, one of the stops during the third Apollo 17 EVA, where geological sampling, photos and videos were taken. Maybe MapAnon can add the site co-ords and see what we get?

Regardless, I still can't find anything at all related to the name WH08-S. The only other thing I can think of now is to SSTV decode the audio of the original file like the original videos of the missions were decoded. The Apollo 17 camera had a bandwidth or up to 5MHz, if someone wants to try it.

Finally, I've tried Googling "WH08-S SSTV" and I got a number of hits with interesting URLs, but have been unable to reach the sites. If anyone is interested I can post an image of some of the URLs.
