Thank you for downloading PataPony, a game by the Oddwarg.

To start the game on Windows, run PataPony.exe. If on Mac OS X or Linux, execute the file "binary.jar"
using Java. Please verify that you have extracted the zip archive before starting the game.
The game has been tested to work on Windows, Mac OS X and Ubuntu with proprietary graphics drivers.

You need at least Java 1.6 to play this game. The Windows exe will attempt to automatically install 
this, but if it does not work or if you are not on Windows, then Java can be downloaded at: 
http://www.java.com/getjava

If you experience audio glitches, try increasing the audio buffer size on the configuration screen.
If some textures are missing while playing the game, enable "Force POTs" on the configuration screen.

The game may produce log files named "groan_log.txt", "groan_inst_log.txt" and "hs_err_pid####.txt".
These can be found in the game folder, e.g. next to this file. 

If the game crashes, try disabling "use VBOs" on the configuration screen. If this does not work, you 
may send me the log files mentioned above for analysis.

Control hints:
Use the Up and Down arrow keys to highlight an item in the main menu.
Use Enter, Space, A, S or D to select the highlighted item.

Press F4 to toggle fullscreen mode.
Press Escape or Alt-F4 to quit the game.
