>you are anon >you had decided to cash in one of your sick days to enjoy a long weekend >now you’re sitting out on your lawn in your rickety old lawnchair and working on your tan >you didn’t get to be this lovely shade of green overnight >how the fuck that works, you don’t even know >taking the day off was a pretty smart move in all honesty >there were some bizarre news reports about some gigantic pink horse thing >apparently it had attacked a nearby city the other day >it managed to level a good portion of downtown >you’ve heard stranger things >good think you live out in the suburbs >not like anything could possibly happen out here, right? >right? >you’re not going to let anything bother you today though >you’re sure the nosy old lady who lives next to you is already phoning the authorities for public indecency >she should get off your back, you’ve got a pair of swim trunks on >whatever, today’s your day off and nothing could possibly ruin it >this is going to be the best day of your life *** >you are anon >and this is the worst day of your life >you don’t even know how the fuck you went to gently sun tanning to cowering in your home >but here you are >probably started when you noticed the water in your drink rippling >goddamn jurassic park shit in here >you probably should’ve fled after the first one >but you figured that it must’ve been a minor earthquake or something >you definitely should’ve fled after the second through tenth ones though >by the time you’d gotten up, you saw her down the street >the news reports were true >a huge horse stood across the way >except it wasn’t pink >well its mane was >the rest of it was bright yellow >and it was staring right at you >and now it was coming for you >you froze on the spot, rooted like a deer in the headlights >it wasn’t until the quakes of her hoof steps knocked your drink over you that you broke out of your stupor >you had to get out, and fast >you question the wisdom of trying to drive away when one of her hooves obliterates a neighbor’s truck >shit that thing was heavy duty too >it just crumpled like it was paper >your indecision cost you, the monsterhorse was now much closer >you made for your car, grass crunching under your bare feet >the creature was on you in a second >it had jumped at the last minute, impact cracking the pavement and knocking you back >vision swimming, you looked up at the gigantic horse as it open its mouth >staring into a maw larger than your entire body, you braced for the worst >the worst never came >instead it…spoke >this thing could speak, and in a decidedly feminine voice >”Oh you poor, poor thing. You must be so cold and alone.” >it actually had a nurturing tone to it, like someone who found a bird with a broken wing >you look frantically around, searching for any means of escape >you see your car is still parked nearby, if you could just… >as if she read your thoughts, she also looks towards the vehicle >”Oh no, I saw some of these earlier. They were going so fast!” >”I can’t possibly let you near one of these, you could hurt yourself!” >a titanic hoof rises from the earth and slowly, almost painfully hovers over your car >she gingerly places it on the roof >it’s large enough to completely cover the entire vehicle >there is a moment of absolute silence >and then her face contorts into a terrible grin >the kind that shows way too many teeth >the hoof slowly pushes down on the car >there is a sound of creaking and twisting metal as your best chance at escape is slowly flattened before your eyes >the glass cracks and shatters as the cab is inexorably compressed downwards >the whole thing slowly sinks closer to the earth and it is finally pancaked into a mess of broken glass and crushed metal >she twists her hoof back and forth on top of the destroyed vehicle for good measure >she turns back to you, horrible unhinged smile gone >she leans her head in close >unsettlingly close >you could probably reach out and touch her snout if you weren’t afraid that she’d take your whole arm >she practically whispers into you >”Tell me, what’s your name?” >you’re still on your back >the reptile part of your brain is screaming at you to run >the intelligent part is asking you if talking with monstrous horse is really a smart thing to do >it doesn’t matter though, your mouth seems to move of its own accord >”A-anon. My name is Anon.” >you’re still frozen in absolute terror, unable to move >you can’t tell if it’s a caring or a manic glint in her eyes as her front hooves slowly surround you >she repeats your name in an almost dreamy manner >”Anon…” >it was love at first sight >or at least unhealthy obsession at first sight >you were just unlucky enough to be the first target she managed to focus on >so much for putting all your points into that luck stat >just before she completely blocks off all routes of escape, the sound of sirens shatters the moment *** >old Gladys Cooper didn’t have many things to look forward to in life >really one of the only joys she had was spying on the neighborhood through her permanently closed blinds >she had seen the whole situation play out and had immediately called the police >a pet that dangerous (and untrained!) was surely against the law >maybe now that troublesome whippersnapper would be forced to finally move out and she could enjoy her tapioca in peace *** >the monsterhorse’s face suddenly contorted once again >this time it was a visage of unimaginable rage >how dare anyone interrupt HER time with HER anon! >she bolted to her hooves and turned around to face the source of the sirens >she was so consumed by the sudden anger that she didn’t notice a small green figure take off towards the home behind her *** >you were literally saved by the bell >or rather siren, you don’t care >the moment broken, you find yourself in full control of your muscles again >adrenaline pumping, you take advantage of the momentary distraction of the gigantic pony >you knew that she’d be able to catch you easily in the open but maybe you could force her to lose interest by hiding out of sight >you took off, sprinting towards your front door >frantically opening it and locking it behind you >you take a moment to rest, with your back to the door >outside, you hear the sounds of police sirens and shouting over a megaphone >they’ll be able to handle her, right? > you’ll still be able to make it out ok, right? >maybe everything will be just fi- >your train of thought is interrupted by a sickening crunch of metal as the police siren is suddenly cut off >ok maybe you’re doomed >there is a few moments of deafening silence as bullets of sweat pour down >deciding to risk a quick glance, you tiptoe to one of your front windows and peer out through the blinds >you’re greeted to the sight of a gigantic eye >the pupil rapidly shrinks to focus on your face peeking through >ohshit.jpg >you hear her voice in an almost singsong manner >”Don’t worry Anon, I took care of all the scary people.” >”You can come out now.” >”Nothing will be able to bother us now.” >just before you fled from the window, you managed to get a glimpse outside as she moves her face back >on the other end of the street is the police cruiser >or at least what remains of it >It was compacted into a neat little ball >the officers were nowhere in sight *** >on the roof of the nearby house, Officer Kowalski woke up with a splitting headache >dazed, he looked around and spotted his partner, Officer O’Brien on the roof of a house across the street >they were both stripped down to their boxers and their weapons were nowhere to be found >they didn’t even have a walkie-talkie to call in for backup >or a ladder *** >ohshitohshitohshit >you are in full panic mode now >time to get out of your front room and towards the relative safety of one of the inner rooms of the house >one without a window >and many, many walls between you and the crazy monsterhorse >you hear her voice behind you >”Anon? Oh no, are you ok in there? What if you’re hurt? Or what if there are more scary loud men in there with you?” >”Don’t worry, I’m coming in to get you!” >as you run up the stairs to the second floor, you steal a glance behind you >the light filtering in to your front room is suddenly blotted out as a hoof crashes through the wall >another hoof smashes through your kitchen on the other side of your house >ceramic and glass crash to the ground as cabinets are ripped open >silverware is sent flying like grapeshot, striking the wall opposite >your favorite table gets the worst of it though, reduced to splinters by the mammoth hoof barreling through >both limbs sweep back and forth, clearing furniture and structures left unmolested by the first punch into the building >they course together, ripping through walls and finally coming to a stop at the front door >the door, made of heavy wood itself, doesn’t fare much better than the table did and is firewood in seconds >the hooves clack together with a loud clunking noise and recede, taking the rest of the outside wall with them >where once there was the first floor of your house, there is now a gaping hole >the portions of the floor above it are barely holding and already have begun sagging underneath >the yellow beast wastes no time in peering through destruction she made, catching a glimpse of you retreating to the upper floor >harrumphing in frustration, she sticks a hoof into the breach, attempting to stop you from getting any deeper into the house >you barely make it to the top of the staircase when it explodes behind you, the hoof slamming into it like a battering ram >spurred into a further panic, you dive into the room closest to you, the master bedroom >outside, she is unable to reach any further and so pulls back >after a moment of contemplation, she places a hoof on either side of the uncollapsed second floor >she places her chest right up to the face of the building and begins squeezing it in a tight bear hug >the wood begins to groan and protest before it begins to splinter >however, the building proves too resilient to compress by squeezing >after a few minutes, it still manages to hold together >changing tactics, she opts to lift a hoof over the offending parts of the house >the same twisted smile from before grows on her face >she wouldn’t be kept from her Anon that easily >bringing the hoof down, the weakened structure hardly gives any resistance as it cleaves through wood and brick >porcelain from the bathroom cracks and falls apart as exposed pipes spew water over the wreckage, turning it into a soupy mess >one portion of the second floor still juts out over the destruction >eyeing it with amusement, the monsterhorse gently taps it with a hoof >it shifts slightly before collapsing as well >your study tumbles to the ground > books and paper from your personal library flutter about >you battlestation is dashed on the rubble below, delicate electronics ruined >satisfied that the way is now clear, the monsterhorse steps forward, further smashing any large pieces of wreckage left >all that’s left in her wake is dust and rubble >the entire front half of your home is completely obliterated but you’re still cowering in the back half >trapped like a rat caught in a mousetrap, you’ve nowhere to run >expecting a merciless hoof to come tearing through the door in front of you, you brace for the worst >once again, the worst doesn’t happen >instead, cracks form along the top of the room as the whole roof wrenches and is lifted up >tossed aside like a frisbee, instead your vision is replaced with the sight of the monsterhorse’s face >”There you are! I was so worried” >her muzzle approaches closer and closer to you >she gently grabs you between her teeth and you’re hoisted up >before you even have a chance to start panicking about staring into her mouth, she deposits you outside >you’re surrounded by yellow on all sides >her two front limbs slowly close in and press you to her chest as she lies down >you’re squeezed close to her chest and you can feel the powerful heart beating inside >”Don’t worry, I’ll keep you safe. No one is going to take my Anon away from me.” >as her eyes shut in contentment, you realize that no matter how hard you struggle, you can’t break free >you resign yourself to being stuck for a while *** >some hours later, it’s the mid afternoon >Gladys Cooper has been impatiently waiting for the authorities to take that damned pet to the pound > having enough, she grabs her walker and hobbles out to give her inconsiderate neighbor a piece of her mind >walking up to the sleeping creature, she looks at the mess >even his house is a dump! >can’t even be bothered to keep the property value up! >”Now see here-!” >she doesn’t get any further when the large creatures eyes suddenly open and contort into a look of pure rage >Gladys stops in her tracks, frozen by the sheer hatred being directed at her >a growl builds from low in the creature’s throat >”Eeh, nevermind, have a lovely day neighbor” >she turned around and shuffled doubletime back to the safety of her home >content that the intruder was gone, the monsterhorse sighed contently and nuzzled next to her prize >no one would take him away from her Fin
