Title: AIE Stanley parable thing Author: waterapple Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/NvqraNP8 First Edit: Tuesday 29th of October 2013 11:04:20 AM CDT Last Edit: Tuesday 29th of October 2013 11:04:20 AM CDT >Day EMOTIONS in Equestria >Anon was a human who lived in Ponyville and worked in the basement of the town library. >His job was to push buttons on a keyboard on his desk all day long. >The buttons he was to press were provided to him through a dragon sitting in front of him that belched out letters listing what button to press and for how long. >Many would consider this to be mind numbingly boring but Anon found it to be a very fulfilling and satisfying occupation, almost as if he was made for this. >One day anon was sitting at his desk but the dragon hadn't produced any letters for well over an hour! >Anon tried unclogging the dragon with the toilet brush but he couldn't find any blockages inside it. >Anon decided to go upstairs to the library to see if any of the ponies that lived in the town above knew what was going on. >Anon opened his office door and went to the staircase leading upstairs. >Anon Looked around at all of twilights old junk, in no way advancing the plot or doing anything useful. >Anon climbed the staircase and opened the door to the library but no-one was there. >His boss had never left the library in all of his time working there, preffering to talk her friends into doing anything outside the library for her. >If whatever was happening was important enough for Anons boss to go outside it must be truly important. >Anon Left the library and headed off to the town hall, the notice board might hold some sort of clue about what was going on. >Anon went into the broom cupboard and saw that there was nothing interesting inside and went outside. >Anon was utterly fascinated by the meaningless contents of the cupboard, staring at them like an idiot before leaving the broom cupboard. >Anon knew full well that this was not what he should be doing and his boss would be mad at him for wasting time. >The narrator had put a lot of effort into making this story for Anon but he was too interested in this cupboard to even try it. >Anon was clearly not interested in stories of any kind so the narrator stopped telling it, it was such a shame because it was a very good story.
