You’re trapped between the two still-sleeping ponies. You hear whispering outside the door as two more ponies enter the room quietly.   >”Twilight, have you noticed the princess of the night is cuddling with *our* studs right now?” Cadance snorts.   >”Yes, I noticed. It seems innocent enough to me. Maybe she just didn’t want to disturb them when she was ready for bed.”   >”Did you also notice how close your brother was snuggled up to Anon? The towel and Anon’s underpants that both reek of Shining’s sweat, I’d know that smell anywhere. Don’t you wanna know what went on in here last night?”   >Twilight silently walks around to the other side of the bed.   >”His bridle is laying here too. Looks like they went for a late night ride.”   >Cadance gets as close to you as she can, lifting Luna’s wing gently as she sniffs the two of you.   >”Well thankfully sweat is all I smell.”   >”You mean you could smell if they… did anything else?“   >”Yeah. Can’t you tell by the scent in the air when a stallion, or Anon in your case, has recently ‘done the deed? There’s nothing they can do to cover up that musky smell or try to hide it.’”   >The two mares tiptoe out of the room to prevent waking you.   >”Not exactly. I haven’t. We haven’t… all he’s done is play with me, I’ve… I’ve never smelled... or tasted…his… his… his stuff…” she says, ruffling her feathers and blushing.   >”Oh. Well when you do, you’ll know it. I’m surprised you never noticed your brother’s to be honest. Surely growing up you must have smelled his musk more than once after he had to “run to the bathroom” and spent just a bit too long in there, seeming a little flushed and breathing heavier when he came out.”   >Twilight’s nose turns up in disgust.   >”I wish you hadn’t brought that up…”   >”Sorry. I’m kinda surprised that you and Anon haven’t had sex yet. What’s the holdup?”   >”We talked about waiting for marriage…”   >”Why!? If you want to do it now why not go ahead and do it? Do you think me and Shining Armor waited until after our wedding to make love? We’d been dating about two months when one night he passionately took me, bent over your kitchen table, Oh sweet Celestia did he ever take me… and that was definitely not the last time between then and the wedding.”   >”On our TABLE? GROSS!”   >”Sorry Twi, I’m afraid that’s not the only place we did it… heh. Sometimes we just couldn’t help ourselves. When he really gets into it and ruts me hard, ooh” she shivers, “he shows me just how much of a stallion he is. Do you WANT to have sex with Anon, Twilight?”   >Twilight hesitates momentarily before answering   >”Honestly, yes, I really do want to go all the way with him. I hate waiting like this.”   >”Twilight, honey, you’re an adult. You don’t have any rules to follow, if you want to take your stud, take your stud, be passionate, be a little raunchy, have fun with it, and don’t let those old-fashioned ideas hold you back. A marriage certificate is just a piece of paper stating what the two of you already know to be true – that you’re bonded together for life and nothing will ever break you apart. It’s not a permission slip for having sex.”   >Twilight sighs as she walks alongside Cadance   >”I wanted him to at least meet mom and dad first but… I don’t know if I can wait even THAT long…” her voice drops to a whisper and she hides her face in shame, snorting and speaking through clenched teeth as she swishes her tail, “I want him *in* me, Cadance, and I want it BAD… I feel ashamed but I WANT it…” her whole body trembles, “I want him to rut me right here in front of you, in front of the whole world, I don’t even care who sees, I can’t stand waiting any more… and I wanna do… other… things with him…”   >Cadance looks amused, never having seen this side of Twilight   >”Like use your mouth to make him feel good?”   >Twilight whimpers before squeaking out a “yes”   >”They really like that, you know,” Cadance giggles, “and they like it a LOT more if you swallow what comes out. It doesn’t taste bad, just remember NO TEETH. You gotta make sure it’s all lips, tongue, mouth, and throat. My first time I left teeth marks on your poor brother and we couldn’t do anything for a couple weeks. I felt terrible about it, just getting it up was painful for him.”   >”I…I’ll try to remember that…” Twilight stammers.   >”You know, that’s a two way street. I hate to pry even more, but has Anon ever gone down on you Twilight?”   >”Not yet but he… he tasted what came out of me when he played with me… and said he wants to.”   >”Twilight I know this is your first serious romance and all, but you should really start indulging yourself! Don’t be ashamed to explore each other’s bodies and don’t be afraid to ask Anon for what you want. If you want him to go down on you, just tell him that, and he’ll do it for you. They enjoy it as much as we do, Twilight, heck sometimes I can’t get Shining’s muzzle out from under my tail for a while even after he’s done his job, but he loves my taste so I don’t try to make him stop.”   >Twilight looks around nervously, seeming both intrigued and disgusted, flicking her tail a few times.   >”If we’re gonna keep talking about this kinda stuff can we go back to the room where we’ll have more privacy?”   >”Sure, Twilight,”   >You were able to hear most of their conversation until their hoofsteps disappear back down the corridor to the guest room they’d shared the night before. You try to sleep a little more but you can’t, imagining what other kinds of tips and advice Cadance might be sharing with Twilight at this very moment.   >After quite a bit of delicate maneuvering you finally manage to slip out of bed without waking Shining Armor or Luna, creeping down the hallway, hesitating before you knock on the door, listening for a moment beforehand.   >”Fetishes?” Twilight blushes.   >”Yeah, fetishes, you know – things that aren’t quite part of ‘normal’ sex. Fantasies you have or particular things that make the experience more erotic or sensual for you.”   >”I… well… kind of a couple things… but I’m ashamed to say what they are.”   >You knock on the door, knowing they’d have your head if they ever found out you eavesdropped on such a private conversation on purpose. The sound seems to startle them, Cadance coming to the door and opening it.   >”Oh, good morning Anon. Twilight and I were just…”   “Talking. Yeah, I know,” you say as you push past her and sit on the bed next to Twilight, “I heard you.”   >Twilight’s jaw drops a little bit when she hears you say this.   >”You… heard us? How… how much did you hear?”   “Enough,” you say, resting your hand on Twilight’s back. “And really, girls, did you honestly think me and Shining did *that* with each other or with Luna? You two are way too jealous, you know that?”   >Cadance sits on her haunches in front of you. “So then what did you and Shining do that got him all sweaty?”   “I took him out for a ride.”   >Cadance frowns. “’Took him out for a ride?’ As in you rode him AGAIN? Long enough that he worked up a sweat?” She snorts at you.   “Yep. And you should have seen how cuddly and lovey-dovey he was afterwards. Your little plan to punish him backfired, we slept quite easily together after that.”   >”Do you love each other?” Twilight asks   “Of course we do, Twi. I don’t know exactly why but we’ve really bonded over the last couple days,” you say, stroking her back before tilting her head toward you and leaning down for a long, gentle kiss on the tip of her muzzle. “But that’s still nothing compared to how I feel about you, my sweet little filly.”   >She moans softly, kissing you again before nuzzling your cheek. Cadance still looks thoroughly annoyed with you, snorting loudly again and shaking her head to get your attention.   >”He likes being ridden so much, maybe I’ll have him haul ME around on his back all day,” she grumbles. “Or maybe I’ll make YOU do it instead,” she says, magically forcing you to the floor on all fours, jumping on your back and kicking your sides. Damn those hooves hurt. Twilight stares speechless as Cadance lays into you.   >”Hyah! Get on then, move it, if being ridden is so fun let’s go show all of Canterlot,” she says through clenched teeth. You feel her magically swat your rump rather harshly several times until you start to move forward.   >”That’s a good boy, Anon, that’s a good little slave. Now pick up the pace, HYAH!” she says, magically whipping you again and kicking you even harder.   >”Cadance, I think he gets the point, maybe you should…”   >”Twilight! Why don’t you join me on my trusty steed,” she says, patting your shoulder, “my mount’s back is strong enough to carry two riders, isn’t that right, slave?”   “Cadance, under different circumstances I’d probably have a raging hard-on right now, but I’m gonna have to ask you to stop. You’ve made your point.”   >Cadance gasps sarcastically. “Are you telling me being ridden isn’t fun, Anon?”   “It’d be fun if it were Twily instead of you, but you’re a married mare. I feel you winking on my back, by the way, I know you’re getting off on this. You wanna explain that one to your husband?”   >Cadance blushes and sighs, hesitantly getting off your back and allowing you to stand up   >”Sorry Anon… that still rubs me the wrong way. I lost my temper, I shouldn’t have behaved in the way I just did.”   “Apology accepted,” you say looking over at Twilight with an impish grin, “maybe you at least gave Twily some ideas for later on when she decides she wants to get a little rougher with me in bed,” she blushes and looks away as you wink at her.   >Shining comes strolling into the room moments later with a huge grin on his muzzle, stretching and yawning as he greets you, kissing Cadance on the cheek and nuzzling her.   >”Morning sweetheart, morning Twily, morning Anon! Everypony sleep well? I know I sure did, haven’t slept that soundly since I was a colt! So, when’s breakfast?”   >After finishing breakfast and getting dressed, you find yourself standing on a balcony alone with Celestia, a fresh hot cup of coffee in your hand as you stroll up to her casually.   “Morning your Highness,” you say, leaning on the railing and taking a sip of your coffee as you look out over the city below.   >”Oh, good morning to you as well, Anonymous. Did you sleep well?”   “Yes ma’am. You?”   >”Quite, thank you.”   >You put your cup up to her lips.   “Want a sip? It’s my own special blend.”   >She hesitates before taking a sip, her eyes rolling around as she savors its taste before finally swallowing and clearing her throat.   >”Quite potent, but not overpowering. Interesting flavor too. May I?”   “Sure” you say, allowing her to take the cup from you, deeply inhaling the aroma before taking another sip.   >Celestia licks her lips and smiles.   “I’ll go get myself another cup,” you laugh as you turn to walk back inside. When you return Celestia is sitting on her haunches and staring up into the sky in quiet contemplation as she enjoys your cup of coffee. You stand close to her, looking around at some of the ponies below that are just beginning their day. Celestia hasn’t moved or said anything for several minutes.   “Penny for your thoughts?” you finally ask her. She tilts her head at you.   >”What?”   “It’s a human expression, sorry. It’s a way of asking what’s on your mind. You kind of had this faraway look in your eyes. Anything you wanna chat about?”   >Celestia sighs and looks down.   >”Nothing we haven’t already been over, Anon. I appreciate the offer though.”   >Her gaze returns to the skies above.   “Ah. Do you want me to leave you alone?”   >”No, please stay,” she says. “I’d appreciate your company for a little while, unless you have other matters to attend to.”   >You smile at her and put an arm around her back, she leans against you gently and puts a wing around you as the two of you enjoy your coffee together in silence.   “Sorry I missed your sunrise, I always love watching them.”   >”My sister asked if she should wake you, I told her to let you rest. I hope her presence didn’t make you uncomfortable when you woke up. Though we were both curious why you and Shining Armor were sharing a bed.”   “Oh, that? Eh,” you just shrug.   >”I don’t mean to intrude on your personal life, but is everything okay between you and Twilight Sparkle?”   “Never better, your Highness. Cadance was just upset with us. She – did you see that?”   >Your head snaps to look into the sky. You could have sworn you just saw a faint flash. Celestia looks up as well. You stare intently, hoping you’re wrong. Celesta notices your worried expression.   >”Anon? What is it?”   >A second. Third. Fourth. Multiple flashes, all in the same area. Your cup shatters as you drop it, your pupils constricting and hands shaking, your mouth hanging agape as you step away from Celestia.   “Celestia, I need you to get me to the best telescope you have, immediately,” you say, panic beginning to well up in you, causing your voice to waver and your body to tremble, “I think-“   >You’re cut short as you hear a familiar whine in the air approaching at a high speed. You see an object coming into view as the whine gets louder. A small, arrow-shaped ship flies by at high speed, sending a surge of adrenaline through your veins.   “Celestia, put Canterlot on lockdown, tell EVERYPONY to shelter in place in the lowest level of their homes, and not to open their doors for ANYTHING, get the word out as fast as you can,” you say as you run into the castle.   >”Anon?”   “NOW!”   >Celestia looks terrified as she takes flight. You bolt down the corridor as fast as you can, screaming Shining Armor’s name at the top of your lungs. When you finally run into him you trip over him and face plant into the floor painfully.   “Shining, I need you to saddle up and be ready to fight, double time. Where are the girls?”   >”They’re still at the breakfast table, Anon what’s-”   “Tell them to get to shelter, as deep into the castle as they can get, I’ll wake Luna,” you say breathing heavily, looking back at him as you run away, “and get that armor on!”   >When you wake Luna you ask her to rally the Canterlot guard for you and have them awaiting orders ASAP. She quickly scrambles to do so, you turn to run back to Shining Armor, who is just clasping the last piece of his armor together as he approaches you.   “Cadance? Twilight?”   >”They’ll be safe.”   “Good, good,” you immediately mount Shining Armor and have him carry you out of the castle as fast as he can. The Royal Guard has begun to assemble outside and you ride out in front of them, immediately issuing orders.   “Secure the perimeter of the city, cover ALL access points both above and below ground, teams of four, if you’re engaged fall back immediately and call for reinforcements. Fire on any vessels that attempt to land in the city. MOVE OUT!” you bark. They look at you questioningly before Shining reiterates your command.   >”That was an order, soldiers!” he yells out to them as he takes a step forward, causing them to immediately comply.   >You ride Shining up and down the streets of Canterlot, ensuring that not a single pony is out in the streets, eventually Celestia catches up with you.   >”Anon, what’s going on?”   “That was a scout ship. My people are here, Celestia. They’ve sent a small fleet, at least nine or ten ships by my count. I don’t know what their intent is but we must assume and prepare for the worst. You and Luna need to get inside the castle with Twilight and Cadance, NOW.”   >”But we must help defend-“   “Celestia if I’m right, you’re the first ponies they’re gonna be coming after, it’s gonna get bad out here, I CANNOT let them take any of you. Please, go now, find your sister and get to safety.”   >The scout ship whizzes by again, closer this time.   “GO!”   >Celestia reluctantly complies, falling back into the safety of the castle.   “Shining I’m gonna need you to haul ass, we don’t have time to stop or rest, you ready?”   >Shining snorts and neighs, pawing at the ground   “Get up there Shiny, YAH!” you say, leaning forward as Shining takes off as fast as he can down a path that leads out of the city, down the side of the mountain. You approach a part of the path that has crumbled and given way. Shining seems unsure but you keep urging him onward. When you approach the collapsed part of the path Shining jumps as high as he can, barely landing on the other side, stumbling a bit before scrambling back to his hooves and immediately taking off at full speed once again. You see the scout ship fly overhead once again. You recognize their search pattern, you know where they’re going to be on their next pass.   “Come on Shiny get up there boy, move it, move it, YAH!” you yell, pushing Shining as hard as you can. Eventually you reach your destination, a clearing at the base of the mountain, a few miles away from Canterlot.   >Shining slides to a stop, sweating profusely and panting heavily.   “Shining buddy I know you’re tired, but I need you right now. Keep your eyes locked on the sky, we’re gonna blast that son of a bitch down on its next pass. This is our best chance, they’re going to be making a low-altitude flyby.”   >Shining watches the sky with you. You hear the whine approaching, feeling Shining tense up. You can see the ship coming into view.   “Steady… steady….”   >Shining paws at the ground, snorting and shaking his head, his horn beginning to glow   “Just a little closer... a bit closer…. Aaand… FIRE! FIRE AT WILL! TAKE THAT SON OF A BITCH DOWN, SHINY!”   >Shining manages to get several direct hits to the ventral part of the ship as it passes overhead. The ship is damaged enough to be forced to land. You immediately pull Shining’s reins in the direction the ship is making its emergency landing and kick him up to full speed once again.   “Come on Shiny, let’s go get those bastards, YAH!”   >Shining takes off at full speed again, his body beginning to fatigue as he struggles to maintain his pace in pursuit of the ship   “Come on buddy we can’t lose ‘em, I know you got it in you boy, come on!” you encourage him.   >Shining pushes himself past the point of exhaustion and keeps going, making sure you never lose sight of the ship as it finally sets down   “Atta boy, Shiny, atta boy!” you pat his neck hard as the sweat on his body starts to work itself into a foam in some spots where the armor rubs against him. You can tell he’s completely winded but he’s giving it all he’s got. When you finally approach the ship he stops, panting heavily, his legs shaking.   “Hey, you gonna be alright big guy? I’m still counting on you here.”   >Shining simply snorts and nods as he catches his breath gradually, his nostrils flaring with each rapid breath, sweat dripping off of him profusely, forming little puddles in the dirt beneath him. You have him walk slowly to approach the ship. You stand in front of the exit hatch and wait, having Shining cast a shield around you just in case.   >A young kid, looks to be no older than 19 or 20, crawls out of the hatch and falls to the ground, coughing uncontrollably as smoke billows from the cockpit. He’s unarmed and hasn’t taken notice of you yet. You have Shining drop the forcefield and approach him. You take notice of his rank before speaking to him.   >”On your feet, ensign. That’s an order.”   >He continues coughing as he slowly turns to see you. When he sees you in your uniform astride Shining Armor in his regalia, his eyes go wide and he immediately stands up and salutes.   “SIR… YES SIR… CAPTAIN?” He replies, clearly confused and on the verge of panic.   >You circle the young ensign slowly.   “I don’t recognize your unit or your fleet, soldier.”   “I’m a pilot in the 11th fleet, beta unit special task force, callsign Hotel Whiskey Echo Quebec, SIR!”   >You circle him a few more times, trying to appear as intimidating as possible.   “What is your unit’s mission here, ensign?”   >The ensign closes his eyes and swallows a lump in his throat   >“Sir that information is classified, SIR!”   >You pull Shining up into an angry rear, letting out a fierce whinny as he does so, scaring the poor ensign half to death.   “I am Captain Anonymous of the late starship D-SEV 28. While on this world you may refer to me as King Anonymous, ruler and defender of the allied kingdoms of Equestria and the Crystal Empire. My companion here, Sir Shining Armor, Prince of the Crystal Empire, my loyal steed and faithful protector, doesn’t take kindly to being spied on, and neither do I. As your superior officer and ruler of this world, I demand you answer my question.”   >”King?” the ensign echoes back in confusion.   “King.” You reply sternly, Shining letting out a roar as he rears up once again, causing the ensign to fall flat on his ass and scramble backwards in fear.   >”Sir… my mission is to gather detailed intel on this world’s defensive capabilities.”   “To what end?”   >”Assessment of the capabilities of the inhabitants to resist invasion and bombardment, to determine what protective forces, if any, should be deployed here, sir!”   “Protective forces?”   >”Yes sir. The Council considers protecting this world from the rebels a top priority. We believe, sir, that there are powerful forces at work on this world that must not fall into the hands of the traitors. Sir, this world has been declared a Protectorate of the Confederacy. All the ships in our fleet are warships, sir, the newest and most advanced in the Navy.”   “How many ships are in your task force, ensign?”   >”Twelve, sir.”   “Ensign, do I have your word as an officer of the Confederate Navy that these ships pose no threat to the populace here?”   >”Yes, sir, you have my word.”   >You stare at him intensely before turning away with Shining, looking back over your shoulder.   “Can you get your ship flying again?”   >”I think so, sir, all the fire suppression systems functioned as they should, the damage shouldn’t be too severe to get back into orbit.”   “Good. When you get back to your ship, tell your CO that King Anonymous of Equestria and the Crystal Empire would like to speak with him in person. Alone. He may land a shuttle in the town square in Canterlot, the mountainside settlement there,” you point. “I’ll be waiting to receive him. Get to it, ensign.”   >”Sir, yes sir!”   >The ensign climbs back into his ship, cursing and coughing, beginning to make some minor repairs as you ride Shining Armor away from him, speaking to him when you’re out of earshot of the young officer.   “Well, that wasn’t exactly how I thought things were going to play out, but… I thought we did pretty well on such short notice.”   >Shining smiles back at you, still trembling a little, sweat still pouring off of him.   >”Did you like my whole ‘fiery steed’ thing? I hope I didn’t scare the boy too bad, hah!”   >You reach down and pat Shining’s neck   “You did great, pal. It’s only because of you that we were able to snag this opportunity. I’m very proud of you and greatly honored to call you my friend, Shining.”   >Shining holds his head and tail high with a smirk on his face, strutting as he carries you back to Canterlot, clearly pleased with himself and with your praise. You hear the ship’s engines fire up, instead of a steady whine they now emit a crude sputtering sound, but the ship is able to gain altitude. You watch from a distance as it leaves the surface and you begin to near Canterlot. With a running start Shining is able to clear the gap in the path once more.   >”Remind me to tell Celestia about that so she can send somepony out here to fix that path,” Shining says with a snort as he lands on the other side and he continues walking. You see four members of the Royal Guard standing by the entrance to the city.   >”Report,” Shining Armor says to one of them as he comes to a stop.   >”All quiet here, your Highness. No hostiles encountered since your departure.”   >”Very good. There’s going to be a ship landing in the town square likely within the next few hours. Please spread the word that this ship is not to be fired upon, it must be allowed to land safely. Its pilot is not to be harmed in any way.”   >”Yes, your Highness, at once.”   >Shining nods.   >”Carry on,” he says before walking past them.   “It’s good to be at the top, isn’t it Shiny?”   >”Sure is, Anon.”   “Well, I might not be at the very top, but I can give orders to 90% of the Confederate Navy and that always feels good. I kind of miss having that power, to be honest.”   >”Well Anon, you have power here now, at least for a while. I mean you have a Prince carrying you around after all and just bossed around four princesses, heh. Do you think your people’s motives are sincere?”   “The kid seemed honest enough, but the lower ranks aren’t always fully aware of all the details of a mission. If the Confederacy wishes to establish Equestria as a Protectorate they’re going to want to establish garrisons on the surface. I don’t like that idea one bit. I’m very leery, Shining.”
