GO! >Wait, wha-
___
>Your dream swirls around, and you feel yourself lurch upside down >Then your eyes snap open >You don't even know what you see, because the first thing you do is hurl water >The first thing that registers is that you're upside down, making it easier to drain your lungs >The second is that the ropes are gone, and you are in fact being held in your position by somebody *GASP* >Air >Sweet, fresh air >On your gasping, whoever was holding you let go >You half tumble to the floor, where you just lay while your breathing regulates >Footsteps come towards you Welcome; To my home >You gather the strength to sit upright, and turn towards the voice >All you can think of is gratitude Thank you, stranger. I am in your debt >And who would stand before you than a large, dog-like creature >After a land of magical miniature horses, it doesn't phase you much >Whoever he is, he smiles Think nothing of it. I just hope we can be friends My name is Rover. The dog behind you is Fido >Fido gives a small nod and wave Fido >He looks much more muscular than Rover >Must be the strong-arm >Another, shorter dog comes around the corner Hey boss, is he awake? >Rover looks over at him and smiles Yes. Spot, I want you to meet... Actually, I never got your name >That's right >They haven't asked yet >No reason to keep them in the dark I'm Anon >A friendly smile I'm Spot. Nice to meet you! >He seems like a very happy kind of person... er... dog? >You stand up, and what remains of your shirt rips away >Honestly you're quite surprised you haven't lost it yet >It's been  tattered rags for months >When it falls, it reveals your frame >Which is almost skin and bones >You can count all your ribs >The trio looks taken aback by the sight >After a moment of awkward silence, Rover speaks up Would you like to join us for dinner? >Would you?!
Would I?!
>Hell yes Yes please. I haven't had a decent meal in... >The thought stops you cold >You mostly scavenge the dumpsters >Plus, with the constant moving around lately, you can't remember when your last good meal was >So you follow them down a short hallway into a dining room >It is furnished with a table and what may be stone blocks covered with blankets around it >In the center sits a buffet of food, with what looks like pork, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gems >The gems seem a little out of place, but everything else looks delicious >Well, bon appetite   >It turns out, they eat the gems along with everything else >And you ate the most >It feels so good to be full again *Yawn* >And boy does it make you tired >Looking around the table, it would seem that so is everyone else >Where are you going to sleep? >You look aver at Spot, who seems to know just what you're thinking Sleep anywhere you like, friend >Says Spot, who brings out some blankets and pillows for everyone >In an almost sad way, you grab a blanket, grab the pillow, and go right to sleep >Sad because for the past few years, you've come to like sleeping like this >Only difference is that now you had something actually resembling bedding >With a blanket wrapped around you, you don't feel the floor, and after so long, it's just comfortable >Within minutes you're asleep
