Title: Trixie Boombox Author: qinop Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/qVXk0qus First Edit: Tuesday 6th of September 2011 10:25:20 PM CDT Last Edit: Tuesday 6th of September 2011 10:25:20 PM CDT : The night was cold. Not that the young (?) Boombox cared. : He slowly flied above the roads of Equestria by himself, having finished his rounds in the Bronystate Movie House. : His best friend Razyn was already back home, perhaps asleep, undoubtedly waiting for his return. : That was what the little contraption thought, until he saw a blue mass of pony below, traveling across the road in the same direction as Razyn's home. : Not quite questioning the logic that this pony, who was admittedly the same color as his companion, was in fact his friend, traveling alone back home. He just reasoned that the wayfarer had taken his sweet time walking home that particular evening. : Boombox descended to the blue stallion, and took his place on his back. "... ... ... ...? ...*" The machine beeped his greeting and small talk. : But instead of returning the banter, the stallion stopped in his tracks. The pointy hat he wore during the Halloween party spun when he turned around to look at Boombox. : "Just what do you-" The /mare/ spoke in an imperious tone before stopping. "What where did you come from?" : "...*" Boombox deftly explained. : (dat tweest) : The mare didn't comprehend what the box was saying. Partly because she couldn't hear him. "Well? Are you going to explain yourself to the Great and Powerful Trixie?" : (grin) : (I'm back, I didn't miss her did I? : ) : The device was at a loss. On one hoof, this was not Razyn, but was a mare whom he had never met before, on the same hoof, he had no way to talk his way out of the situation. On the other hoof... Well there really wasn't any other hoof because he just had one big problem. : (Eenope.) : (Ok good, she will be here in a bit though.) : (tsk) : "Can you even answer The Great and Powerful Trixie?" Trixie demanded with a cautious/sympathetic look in her eyes. When she received no response, she just continued to walk. "Very well... I suppose you may ride on The Great and Powerful Trixie's superior posterior for a while longer." : Boombox remained silent as Trixie walked, tuning out most of her talking. He was panicking. He needed to figure out a way to find Razyn. Without him, or someone else who knew how to activate Boombox's copter mode, he might never see his friend again. "So here we are." Trixie's sudden voice reminded Boombox of where he was. : (She is logging on.) : They were in the middle of the woods, in front of a trailer. "It's not much, but for now, it is all Trixie can afford." Trixie spoke of her meager abode with such a degree of... Pride that Boombox wondered if she really understood what she was living in, or if it was an act.
