Title: Bad End Starlight Author: qinop Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/aJVm1bC1 First Edit: Monday 4th of July 2016 12:29:04 AM CDT Last Edit: Monday 4th of July 2016 12:29:04 AM CDT >"This is the future you chose, Starlight." >You almost don't hear her words, the sight is so jarring >The dust laden winds are the only movement on the wasteland >Your only defense from getting sand on you or in your eyes is your mage armor, which you haven't dismissed yet >A scowling Twilight steps into your view >Her tattered lab coat flutters in the breeze as she removes her glasses >"I kept trying to tell you." She glares at the lenses as she wipes them >After finding them sufficiently clean, she sets them back on her nose, tipping them back with a pair of crossed fingers >You don't have words >All you can do is gulp and look back over the horizon "I don't understand." >"Of course you don't. How could you?" >You hear her stepping toward you, her sneakers scraping against the sand >"You just kept pushing and pushing and pushing, trying to make the perfect world by changing the smallest details." >You didn't ask for this >You didn't want this! >Twilight stops next to you, looking out onto the world with a scowl >"You know, some iterations, I just sat back and tried to enjoy my friends' company." "I just wanted a world where everyone was equal!" >She seems to ignore your outburst >Those big violet eyes just leer out at the sand >"Congratulations." >Your brow furrows and you cock your head >She looks at you out of the corner of her eye >Twilight rolls her head back and sneers. "You've made a world where no one but you and I exist. Both of us being removed from time, that means you've committed genocide with your idiotic time looping." >Twilight gives you a withering look and turns back to the horizon >"It isn't that bad, though." >She turns and walks back to the crystal map, swinging one leg over the other, and drumming her fingers over her knee as the map activates >You look around as you walk back to the map >Once you have a seat, you ask, "What's good about it?" >She juts out her lower lip and shake her head. "I didn't say anything about it being good."
