Got y-“ >The world ripples, you can feel the magic pulsating out from behind you, crackling in the air. >You twist your head around to look. >Celestia is well in view now. >There’s a wave of golden light spreading out from her, a vast wall of magical energy shimmers and sparkles behind her. >You notice that the sun has shown its full face now.   >Princess Celestia lifts her wings, up high enough so that they’re touching each other. >And then she flaps them. >A stupendously loud bang sounds off and Celestia flies ahead faster than you can really register. >Her golden wave seems to get caught up in the sudden acceleration, dragging behind her as a wondrous cone. >You have to wrench the wheel to keep on the road, the shockwaves were so strong. >You watch her zoom ahead, straight to the mountains in shock, mouth agape. >Then you laugh and just keep on. >Another bang rings out, just as loud as the first. >At the foot of the mountains you can see a golden wall of light spreading out in a huge arc. >It bathes them in golden radiance, illuminating every crook, every crevice. >The mountains were truly touched by the sun this morning. >Your grip loosens on the wheel, although your foot stays hard pressed, you’d hit your limit hovering around 290 kilometers per hour. >Your phone rings. >You roll your eyes and answer. “Hey Celestia.” >”What’s taking you so long Anonymous? I’m here at the foot of the mountain, waiting.” >Of course. >You can hear that playful tone in Celestia’s voice. “Unfortunately my car can’t go faster than the speed of sound.” >Princess Celestia does this mocking sigh and tut tut. >“Come now, just how slow are you going?” >You chuckle and check your speedometer. “A positively glacial 288 kilometres per hour your Highness.” >”You really should get yourself a faster method of travel.” “I’ll get right on that. What color should my fighter jet be do you think?” >Celestia laughs and hangs up. >You put the phone down, shake your head and get back to the road, smiling. >Another day on the road with Celestia.
