"Rarity? Hello? It's me, Anon." >You pick up Opal and pet her as you walk around the boutique. >After knocking on her bedroom door and calling out her name, you give up and slowly crack the door open, and peek into the room. >Rarity was curled up in a ball at the center of the bed, fast asleep. >Setting Opal down you approach the sleeping pony and gently shake her. >Rarity wakes up and takes off running, clearly scared at your sudden intrusion. "Wait, Rarity, it's just me, Anon!" >You and Opal take off after the frightened mare as she led you on a merry chase around the boutique. >Cornering her in a small room full of clothes and materials you finally catch her. >Rarity kicks and squirms in your grasp, squealing and hissing at you. "Calm down Rarity, I'm not going to hurt you." >After several moments of holding and petting the yowling pony, she finally calmed down. "What got into you Rarity?" >Opal jumped up into your arms, meowing incessantly. >As you continued to stroke Rarity, she began to purr and nuzzle your chest. >Figuring that Rarity was calm enough, you set her down and get to your feet. >Before you could say anything she took off once again, knocking things over left and right. "Maybe I should just come back tomorrow." >Opal kept pestering you, clearly upset with you. "What's wrong with you Opal?" >The white Persian cat's body puffed up, as she took off running from the room. >You shrug and follow the excited cat to Rarity's work area. >She jumps up and starts putting pins in the fabric and trying to operate the sewing machine. "Whoa, you'll hurt yourself Opal!" >You rush to the table and grab the cat before she can hurt herself. >Opal freaked the hell out and started clawing at your face, causing you to drop her.   >She took off running into the bed room and you followed. "Just what the hell is going on today?" >The house cat returned before you could leave the work area, a white piece of clot in her mouth. >Rushing up onto the the table again, she placed the cloth down and ran off again, returning once more with some blue cloth. >It amazed you that this cat could do all the things it was doing. >In a short while Opal had cut the blue fabric into three diamond shapes and sewed them onto the white fabric. >She held up the cloth, as you struggled to remember where you'd seen that symbol before. >Rarity came up from behind you and rubbed up against your leg, purring in delight. "Um...Rarity, maybe we should get to know one another better before we get touchy feely?" >Rarity ignored you and walked over to Opal's food and water bowls, taking a couple bites of the cat food. >Opal meowed again, tugging at your legs. >You watch as Rarity walks away, pausing to stretch, her butt high in the air and her forelegs stretched out in front of her. >It reminded you of a cat. >It hit you. >Picking up Opal and holding her up to your face you pose the question: "R-Rarity?" >She meows happily as you cradle her in your arms. "If you're really Rarity, you'll have to prove it." >She looks at you, waiting for your instructions. "You can't tell a cat what to do and expect it to do it, so if you're really Rarity, you'll do what I tell you to prove yourself." >Raricat nods her head and meows. "Okay, Rarity, lick my palm and prove to me that I'm not going crazy here or having a bad dream." >Rarity licked your palm as you drew it near to her face. "Holy crap, it really is you?!" >Raricat meowed again as the purring started up. >You sit down on a nearby couch, taking a deep breath. >Raricat looks up at you and purrs. "We'll have to get you to Twilight, find out what happened to you." >You run your fingers through her hair. "Well, no rush, a cat is fine too." END
