Title: Repair Ch.7 Author: Pablo_Chacon Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/K9T7qnwL First Edit: Sunday 6th of July 2014 12:26:47 PM CDT Last Edit: Sunday 6th of July 2014 12:26:47 PM CDT >You set the keys on the table next to the door as you wheel Twilight in >Since you decided to close the library today earlier today in order to make preparations for Twilight, the place was quiet and abandoned >As you look back to Twilight you see a familiar purple glow around her wheels as the chair begins to move forward on its own “You could do that the entire time?” You ask with just the slightest hint of being annoyed >Twilight continues to move towards a shelf, “Of course I can. It's a simple spell Anon.” >She stops moving as the glow transfers to a familiar book >It's the same one you've been reading for awhile now about physical therapy >“But it was nice to just relax and have you with me.” She continues as she turns around and offers you smile, which you return “What are you doing with that?” You ask as you sit down on the couch behind her >You take your shoes off and roll your neck to one side, then the other >It's been a long week >“I thought that we might try some therapy today, just to get our hooves wet.” >Just like Twilight, always eager to try something new >You knew that being proactive with the therapy was the best way to get through it... >But you didn't want to jump straight into it >She should at least get some rest first, or something to eat “You sure thats a good idea Twilight? You literally just came out of the hospital. Maybe we should take it easy for a day or two before we get started on this.” You suggest, although you doubt it would do much good. Whenever Twilight has her eyes set on something it's difficult to talk her out of it. >Twilight just offers you a slight eye roll, “I was released from the hospital because I got better. Besides I'm to get out of this wheelchair already.” She raises her hooves and plops them back down on the arms of the chair >Well you knew you weren't going to win so you might as well just surrender now “Alright, but we take it easy today.” >Twilight nods at the compromise, excitement beaming in her eyes >She's not going to be so jittery in a second, you think to yourself >Twilight moves her chair towards you and floats the book in your lap >“Alright, this is the best book I have on this subject you should begin by read-” You cut her off by raising your hand slightly, “Already read it.” >Twilight wears a surprised look, not expecting you to plan ahead, “Alright, by all means then...” >Her face is now replaced with a patient demeanor with a slight smile >Perhaps she was challenging you? >Either way, you scoot forward so that you could begin You try to recall what chapter one taught you, “I don't suppose you can move it at all?” >Twilight tried to raise her foreleg, but it refused to move “Alright, I'm going to have to move it around until you get a feel for your muscles again.” >By the way she nods you can tell that she is taking this seriously >Listening to every word you say as if she was going to be tested on it “But it could take awhile, even a week, so just be prepared.” She once again doesn't say anything but nods >You reach forward and carefully place both hands around her foreleg “Let me know if it's too much. We can take breaks as often as you need to.” You offer some advice to her >“Alright.” >You slightly tighten your grip around her soft arm as you slowly begin to raise it >Twilight almost instantly reacts with a gasp You freeze, “Is it too much? Should we wait until later?” >“No it just caught me off guard is all. I'm fine, really.” She tries to reassure you >Might as well not push the subject >You begin to slowly raise the foreleg again as you bend the arm outwards >Twilight's face scrunches up a little but she remains quiet >You continue, trying to move the arm in all possible positions and angles >Before you know it an hour has passed >You return Twilight's arm back to the chair >Even though she didn't speak up you could tell that she was sore and in pain >She was even beginning to sweat “All done for today.” You proclaim >Twilight loudly exhales and slumps in her chair, she must have tensed up during the session “If it was that bad then you really should have spoken up.” You tell her, “I don't want to make it any worse than it already is.” >Twilight shakes her head, “It's fine, if I told you to stop every time it hurt we would never get it done.” >She has a point you suppose “I guess you're right.” You begin to stand up, “How about some lunch?” >“That would be great Anon.” Twilight says as she follows you into the kitchen   >The rest of the day was pretty uneventful >Just some reading up on what the next course of action is after your done with the step >Twilight was writing something down on a scroll, you didn't pay much attention to it >You assumed it was a progress report to the princess or something >Twilight yawned as she tucked the scroll away in a desk “Bedtime?” You ask with a slight chuckle >She bends her head down slightly as she takes a quick sniff >“More like bath time.” She corrects you >You get up and begin pushing Twilight but stop at the obstacle in front of you “Hmmmmm...” >Stairs >Twilight ears perked up a little, “Anon, could you carry me?” >Might as well, then you could come back for the chair >You slowly ease your arm beneath her legs as another arm goes behind her back >As you begin your climb you couldn't help but notice she had her head leaning against your chest, just like the day of the accident >You set Twilight down as you reach the top >Turning around for the chair, Twilight stops you, “Hang on Anon.” >The chair begins to float up the stairs and is sat down behind Twilight “Nice.”   >You run your hand under the water >Felt perfect >You were almost jealous that this was for Twilight and not for yourself “Alright it's ready.” You call out to Twilight, who you think is in her room >The door opens as Twilight wheels in >Gently, you pick her up and dip one of her hooves in the water “Water okay?” >“Perfect” She happily replies >You place her in the water >Standing up, you move towards the door to give the purple mare some privacy >However, said purple mare stops you, “Wait!” >You turn to face her >“I might need some help getting my back and mane, and I'll need help getting out of the tub and drying off so why don't you just stay in here.” “Alright” You sit down next to her and roll your sleeves up >Dumping some shampoo in the palm of your hand, you begin to wash Twilight's coat and mane >You can hear her sigh as you run your fingers through her mane >She even gets out a slight 'Oh' and 'Ah' as you lightly massage her scalp with your finger tips >You could bet that washing her ears was her favorite though >Whenever you would begin to work away from the back of her sensitive ears, she would instinctively move her head so your fingers landed back on the sweet spot “Well, you are probably the cleanest pony in Ponyville now.” You move beneath the water to drain the tub >And Twilight was definitely clean now, considering you spent the better part of 30 minutes cleaning her >Twilight lets out a slight groan of frustration as you pick her up and place her on the rug >Getting a towel you begin to dry her off as she sits on her haunches >All goes well until you get to her injured foreleg, which you try to pat dry and lightly rub it >It still manages to illicit a slight yelp from Twilight however >You place Twilight in the wheelchair momentarily as you push her to her room and tuck her into bed >Twilight leans up, “Hang on Anon, I have something for you.” >She pulls out a drawer from a nightstand and retrieves a small bracelet, levitating it over to you >It's a simple string bracelet, about as thick as a shoe string “A friendship bracelet? Thanks Twilight.” You reply, not sure as to what triggered Twilight to make you a bracelet >Twilight laughs a little at your expense, “I suppose it is a friendship bracelet. But it also has another function too.” >Twilights horn begins to glow and shortly after the bracelet begins to glow too and even vibrate “Whoa” You blurt out as you observe your new fashion accessory, “So thats what you were doing in your room.” >“Mm-Hmm, now I can get your attention from anywhere inside the library without having to yell.” She smiles, proud of her ingenuity “Good thinking. Now try to get some sleep okay? We're gonna have to do some more therapy tomorrow.” >“Alright, good night Anon.” She manages to get out during a yawn “Good night, Twilight.” >You close the door behind you and walk down the two flights of stairs required to get to your new room >It wasn't until you laid down on the bed that you realized how tired you were >You were definitely exhausted >But all things considered, you had a pretty fun day with Twilight >And you were looking forward to spending more time with the purple pony >A smile creeps on your face as you slip into sleep
