Only if you had wings, or a horn to keep them still. >Stupid human anatomy. >After a while though, you started growing a little bit fond of them, especially Sweetie Belle. Being the calmest of the group lifted the odds on her favor. >She began staying with you to chat instead of running in circles with her friends. >That was quite a surprise. >Now that you think about it, every time you showed up she would act all mature, even going as far as turning down her friends to stay with you. >You simply took it as being an influence from her sister. >And speaking of her sister, this whole charade better pay off, or you gonna be pissed. >She has to pay you back for all these favors somehow. You drool at the thought of what could it be. Maybe even Applejack could join in. >Oh, that would be just perfect. >Crap, you are here already. Well, you should go find that stupid bench. >Your fantasies can wait a bit.     Chapter 1 - Conclusions     >Sundown Park, such a beautiful place to relax. >The sun warms your face, the chirping of the birds and the rustle of leaves are a soothing melody to your ears. >You were even thinking about napping on the bench you were sitting on. >Until those kids got here. >Even worse, both Applejack and Rarity are enjoying a picnic with the rest of her friends, while you sit here, babysitting. >Damn those mares and their charms. >At least now the three crusaders, as they like to call themselves, actually listen to you instead of completely forgetting your existence. "Okay, but don't wander too far off. I don't want you doing anything crazy outside of my view." >"Yeah, sure," said Scootaloo. "We heard you the first 800 times." >"We won't go far, ah promise!" blissfully chanted Applebloom. "Just wanted to be sure. Your past endeavors don't speak in your favor." >"I told you it was an accident!" instantly replied Scootaloo. "Derpy came out of nowhere!" "I know of at least 5 ponies that disagree with that, including your friend over here," you said as you tilted your head towards the yellow filly. >"Hey! You sold me out?!" she exclaimed while frowning towards Applebloom. >"He offered to buy me ah muffin! How could I say no? Besides if you hadn't been going that fast you would've seen her," said Applebloom. >Scootaloo simply rolled her eyes and looked back at you. "Can we go now? We are wasting precious time." "Okay, you can go. Try not to cripple an unsuspecting pony, again." >"Whatever." Scottaloo sighed while putting on her helmet and getting on her scooter. "Let's go, you traitor." >"I'm coming! Give me ah second." Applebloom turned towards her other friend. "Are you sure you don't want to come with us, Sweetie Belle?" >"Yes, I'm sure. I'll stay here with Anon," your recently proclaimed companion answered while sitting on the bench with you. >"Okay, see ya," she said as she climbed on the wagon tied to the scooter, before finally waving to us and leaving with her fellow crusader. "They'll never change won't they? They'll obviously end up breaking something, or someone, and leaving the aftermath for me to deal with," you thought out loud. >"Well, that's how kids act, is it not?" she said while looking at her friends in the distance. "So, you don't consider yourself a kid? Shouldn't you be doing the same stuff?" >"We all grow up someday and stop doing those things, I might as well get used to it." >This is the kind of thing that has been getting your attention. >A month ago she was acting just like her friends, but something changed. >Maybe it has to do with you? Did you influence her somehow? Nah, you hated these kids when you met them. >And, besides, they barely spoke to you. They were too busy planning their crusades of madness. >It must be her sister then, she always acted like a proper lady in front of you. >As far as you know she probably started talking some sense into Sweetie Belle. >The thought that maybe ponies of this age shouldn't be acting like this clouded your mind. But only for a second. >Who cares, one less filly to worry about. >If you could have the three of them in one place while discussing something other than Cutie Marks you would. >Sadly, that's not the case. And it'll probably never be. >"Um... Anon? Are you okay?" Sweetie Belle was giving you a worried look. >Oh crap, you phased out. "Uh... Yeah! I was just thinking about something, sorry." >Luckily you weren't drooling this time. >"Anon, can I ask you something?" she said while portraying a soft expression. "Yes, of course." >She fidgeted a little. >"I-I was wondering if you, uh..." she was looking at the ground while making little circles with one of her forelegs. "A-Are you seeing someone?" >Well that was unexpected. "Could you elaborate a little bit?" >That got her even more nervous. >"I-I mean... uh... Are you... Are you dating someone?" >You know what this is. >Of course she wanted to get you to feel uncomfortable. It was probably her plan all along! >Having you go soft on her, revealing your most precious secrets so that she could laugh with her friends at you for not having a girlfriend. >Evil kids! "Well, I-I am not interested in a relationship at the moment." >Nice deflection. You truly are the best. >"Oh! I shouldn't have asked." She then lowered her ears and looked away while staring at the ground. >Okay, that melted your heart. Maybe you over thought things a little bit. "Oh, no no no! It's okay, I don't mind. I was just surprised you would ask me something like that. Why exactly did you?" >"It doesn't matter. It was stupid anyway." >She looked pretty sad, and it was getting to you. She was still a kid after all, and a troubled one at that. >Think about this for a moment. >She didn't run off to tell her friends so this is something else. >Maybe it's, no, it couldn't be. "Hold on, isn't Hearts and Hooves day tomorrow?" >She jumped at hearing those words. >Is she blushing? >"I..." >Indeed she was, furiously. >Oh. It is what you thought it was. She wants to set you up with Rarity! >Yes, that's why she was acting so weird. This is the moment you've been waiting for! All the trouble you endured would have been worth it! >You need to calm down, play it cool. Don't you dare ruin your only chance. "So, Hearts and Hooves day, huh?" >She's still looking at you with her face now completely red. >"Yeah, I... Well, it doesn't matter anymore after what you told me." >What you told her? Of course! Stupid, stupid Anon! How could she set you up if you don't want to be in a relationship? >Quickly, say something smart! "But... Hey! Hearts and Hooves day is an exception for everyone, even for me! We must stay true to our traditions." >Nice! You truly are the god of speech. >She jumped at this with what could only be described as overwhelming joy. >"Really?! I-I mean, that's a relief!" >You couldn't avoid chuckling at her little display. She was just adorable trying to act like an adult. >Don't lose focus, Anon! You've got this. "Well, was there something else you wanted to ask me?" you said while wearing a stupid big smile. >"Uh..." >She seemed taken aback all of the sudden. "Yes?" >You could see something wasn't right. >"I..." >Sweetie Belle began playing with her hooves again. >You are starting to worry now. She has to ask you! "There's nothing else you want to tell me? Anything?" >Desperation is a funny thing. >She simply shook her head. >"I-I think I'll go play with Scootalo and Applebloom a little bit." >And she was gone. >You stared at the space she had been for a few seconds, while still wearing that stupid smile. >It didn't last very long. >You finally gave in, and plummeted to the ground. "What just happened?! How could I mess this up?!" you screamed at the grass. "I had this! What went wrong?!" >A few ponies around you started looking at you funny. "Oh, I know why! She actually wanted to laugh at me! She went to tell her friends about it!" >You may not have been an actual master at conversation, but you are indeed amazing at drawing conclusions. "I will not let them get away with this! I'll go tell them what I think right now!" >And off you went. >You could see Sweetie Belle speaking with her friends about 5 meters from where you were hiding. >Yes, you were eavesdropping kids. >Expectedly, you didn't storm in like a madman and began shouting. >You needed to be sure they were actually laughing, you're not that stupid. >After dealing with quite a nosy filly with glasses that was wondering what you were doing hiding in some bushes, and even almost succeeding at blowing your cover, you actually began listening to the conversation. >"You didn't even ask him?!" A pissed looking Scootaloo spat these words to her friend. "You made me behave and drive around this stupid park doing nothing so that you could be alone with him, and you didn't even say anything?!" >"Hey!" Sweetie Belle frowned. "I did ask him if he was seeing someone. He is actually willing to date!" >"So? That still doesn't accomplish anything! I could've been doing a whole lot of awesome stuff, but instead, I had to give you some alone time. Ugh, what a waste." >Scootalo simply turned away from her friend and started walking towards her scooter while mumbling things to herself. >Sweetie Belle sighed. >"Don't listen t' her," Applebloom said while putting a hoof over her friend's shoulder. "You know how she gets when she can't drive that scooter of hers around town doing crazy things. Ah think you did great." >"Thanks. I know she means well but she wasn't there. I-I couldn't ask him, I got too nervous. I kept thinking he was going to laugh at me if I asked." >Sweetie Belle dropped her ears and stared sadly at the ground. >"Why would he laugh at you? That's stupid! Who would turn down an offer like that? Especially coming from you!" exclaimed Applebloom. >Sweetie Belle looked into her eyes with a weak smile. "Thanks, but I still don't know if I should go back and ask him. I can't hear him say no, it would hurt so much. He won't even want to be around me anymore." >She looked beyond down at this point. >"Aww... Don't look so sad. Ah think you should ask him anyways. You can always keep being friends. And if he does laugh at you, we'll kick his butt!" >Both fillies shared a laugh, one that apparently Sweetie Belle needed a lot. >"Thanks Applebloom, you always know what to say to cheer me up." >"We are always here for you," the red maned filly said as she embraced her friend in a warm hug. "Me and Scootaloo, even if she isn't showing it right now." >The white unicorn took a few moments to breathe, you could see she was still quite stressed. >"Okay, I-I think I can do it. I'll go ask him then. Wish me luck!" >A still somewhat insecure Sweetie Belle began walking towards the direction of a quite familiar bench, one that you were supposed to be seating on. "Oh shit." >"Just holler if something happens, we'll be close." Applebloom turned to her friend in the distance. "You'll help us kick Anon's butt, right Scootalo?!" >"Yeah yeah," she answered while waving a hoof nonchalantly, "only because it'll be fun ramming him with my scooter!" >You saw the state Derpy was after the little pegasus was done with her. >You better not mess this up. >As you were turning around to get out of the bushes, you are somehow greeted by a frazzled mane and glasses; the face of the same filly that was pestering you before. >"Hey! You're still hiding in here? Are you playing a game? I want to pla-" "AHHHH!" >You stumble out of the bushes and end up falling on your back. "For fuck's sake, how did you get in there so quietly? Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?!" >It's actually really amazing how that filly managed to sneak up on you. Maybe she's a ninja. Yeah, that's probably it. >"Anon? What are you... Were you hiding?" >A startled Sweetie Belle was looking at you. >Crap. >You forgot about that little thing. You know, your only chance at having a date with Rarity. >No need to worry, you can talk your way out of this. They are just fillies, it can't be that difficult, right? "What? No no no no, I mean, yes! I-I was just playing hide and seek with..." >You give a pleading look to the ninja. >"Twist." "Yeah Twist, and she managed to find me and-" >"We weren't playing anything, and saying that right after you told me to go away because I was bothering you doesn't help your case much." >Game over. "You little devil, you'll pay for th-" >"Y-You... You heard everything I said?!" uttered a hyperventilating Sweetie Belle. >Yup, now is the time to panic. "I barely heard anything!" you lied. "I was worried about you, that's all." >She seemed to calm down a little bit at that. >"Oh, I-" >Sweetie Belle was interrupted by a roar of what sounded like an engine accompanied by a war cry. >"Watch out!" she tried to warn, but it was too late. >A scooter carrying the weight of Scootalo and a wooden cart, somehow managed to materialize in front of you, gaining some altitude in the process. >Everything seemed to slow down as it approached. >Sweetie Belle was covering her face while looking away, Twist was looking right at Scootalo in what could only be described as awe, and Applebloom was galloping towards the whole scene. >You could see a few other ponies staring at you, probably startled by Scootalo's noisy charge. >You didn't even have a chance to react to this. >The handle of the scooter connected with your face at an impressing speed. >The world started spinning as you stumbled backwards. >As consciousness was slipping away, all you could think of was of poor Derpy on that wheelchair, and the excruciating pain, of course. >You hit the ground and everything went black.     Chapter 2 - Scooter     >You were lying on a bed. >The sheets were smooth, and the mattress comfortable enough. >The thing is, you don't remember falling asleep, or even going to your bed in the first place. >All you could remember was being at Sundown Park, taking care of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and then, nothing. >You didn't even feel like fretting on it, you lacked the strength. >You would've stayed just like you were, if it hadn't been for the throbbing sensation in your head, and a bandage covering the entirety of your face. >That was not good. >Panic began taking a hold of you, as you tried, fruitlessly, to rip it off. >The thing was tangled in quite a complex way, and your anxiety wasn't helping one bit. >As you continued to fight your nemesis, you heard a door somewhere in the room open. >"Hey, Anon, I see you are already awake. How are you feeling?" a feminine voice called out at you as it entered the room. "Am I blind?!" you shouted. >The lack of an immediate response only accomplished raising your nervousness. >"Of course not," she assured you. "Why would you be?" >Taking a few seconds to catch your breath, you then analyzed the question. "Uh... Because of this thing stuck on my face? Which, may I add, seems to have been made of pure steel?" you answered, a little calmer this time. >She gave a little chuckle, it felt quite reassuring. >"I see, so you like the way I fold bandages," she joked. >You had to give her credit, it wouldn't be falling off anytime soon. "It is quite impressing. I couldn't rip it off, even when having thumbs on my favor," you said as you moved them around for emphasis. >Now that your worst fear was placated, you could focus on your location, and the reason behind being bandaged in the first place. "Now, would you mind telling me, where am I?" you asked. "And, also, I didn't get your name." >"Well, you are currently staying at Ponyville Hospital. I am the nurse assigned to you, my name is Redheart," she answered politely. >At least you weren't blind, and she seemed nice enough. >Besides, she actually managed to calm you down quite easily, which is something really difficult to do. "A hospital, huh? Now the bandage makes a little more sense." You scratched the back of your neck. "Sorry for trying to take it off." >"Don't dwell on it, hon," she replied. "You are not the first one to try and you won't be the last." >You think is time to address the elephant in the room. "How did I get here?" >You don't remember getting drunk last night, but seeing as today is Hearts and Hooves day, it seemed like something you would do. >You just hoped they didn't find you half naked at Sugarcube Corner, again. >"Well, you suffered a strong contusion," she replied. "It is quite normal to experience amne-" >She was cut off by some voices outside the room. >"... hope he's okay. I already know how difficult it can be to take care of these kids," the familiar voice of Rarity stated. "And he did it plenty of times, without even asking a dime for it." >"Yup, ah know how my sister can be sometimes," the mare you recognized as Applejack, replied. "Now, 'bout that dime thing." >You heard a loud thud. >"Thanks, Big Mac." >"Yup." >"Applejack, dear, I know you wanted to pay him back, but I think a whole barrel is taking things a little bit overboard," put forth Rarity. >"Well, at least ah brought him somethin' that's actually useful, and tasty," answered Applejack. >"How dare you! My gift is one of a kind, and he'll have plenty of use for it, not like your... apple juice," replied Rarity. >"Apple juice?! This here is apple cider, an' the best one at that! It will help him get on his feet in no time. Can your gift do that?" inquired Applejack. >"That thing? The one that has been on the sun the whole day, and probably tastes sour by now, is going to help him? Huh! You'll be lucky if it doesn't kill him," mocked Rarity. >"Oh yeah?! Then why don't you take this barrel and-" >Nurse Readheart rushed to the door and opened it. >"Girls!" she lowered her voice a bit. "Girls, Anon is already awake." >"Oh!" Rarity let out a nervous chuckle. "Thank you for letting us know." >You ruled out being drunk as the cause of your contusion. >These mares wouldn't be ecstatic to give you presents if it had happened like that. >One of the ponies approached the right side of your bed, followed by a loud screech, and the mare accompanying it, on the opposite side. >"Oh boy, ain't this barrel of amazing cider heavy!" informed a panting Applejack. >"Showoff..." murmured Rarity. >"Okay! I need to check on a few patients. If you need anything, please, let me know. I'll leave you three alone," Nurse Readheart stated before making a hasty retreat. "Oh! And also, Anon, the doctor will be here soon to explain your condition." >And she was gone. "You coward... " you whispered. >"Darling, how are feeling?" Rarity asked you. "Oh! Uh... leaving aside a little headache, pretty good actually!" you answered. >"You took quite the hit yesterday. We were really worried when we found out," said Applejack, "seein' as how Derpy had ended up before." >You remember how Scootaloo crippled an off guard Derpy the other day. >It arise the suspicion that the filly had something to do with this. >"I am glad Twilight agreed on helping with your recovery," pointed out Rarity. "Her healing spells made wonders! She even said you were getting discharged today!" >Since a gigantic crystal castle appeared in the direction of your bedroom window, you started having mixed feelings for this Twilight. >In your book, she owed you this one. It was a really, really good view. "Um, give her my thanks, I guess. Now, I have to ask, what's with the barrel?" you said while feigning ignorance. >"Cause you deserve it, sugarcube," answered Applejack. >"Indeed, you do. Moreover, you must know I am really grate-" >Rarity was interrupted by Applejack clearing her throat. >"What seems to be the problem, dear? Rarity addressed the mare. >"We, are both grateful," complained Applejack. >"Oh! Yes, yes," Rarity acknowledged as she waved a hoof nonchalantly. "As I was saying, we are really grateful for you taking care of the fillies. We couldn't have possibly left you unrewarded for such an arduous labor, more so if you were injured while doing it." >You were glad all that work was worth something. >Even better, you could put some strong booze on that cider to make things even more interesting, but that's something you would manage when you were home. "You both needed help, and I offered to do it without expecting something for it. It's what friends do," you answered. >And boyfriends, too. >"Oh no, don't you give me that friendship nonsense, ah've heard it plenty." Applejack emphasized by taping her barrel. "Honest pay for honest work." >"I have to agree, you do deserve it, darling. Now, for the best part of our visit, my present!" exclaimed Rarity. >Your imagination took free reigns on the possibilities. >A date? A savage night of loving? Being your kinky slave for a day? >It could be anything. >"For all this trouble, I am offering you a wonderful, extravagant, eye catching, top fashion, custom tailored suit!" remarked Rarity. >Your hopes crashed and burned instantly. "Uh... Thanks?" you failed to hide your discontent. >A loud snort was heard coming from Applejack's direction. >"What?! You don't want it?" incredulously stated Rarity. "No, it's not that! I-I just never been one for fashion," you struggled to answer. "I don't think I would even give it that much use. I'd rather have you save something expensive like that for an actual customer." >This time, Applejack couldn't contain her laughter. >"But, I had everything prepared. I even rescheduled all of my appointments for this afternoon! You must reconsider!" pleaded Rarity. >Before you replied, the realization hit you; she didn't bring you a suit, she was going to make it! >You were going to be alone with the mare on her boutique! >This was the closest to your long dreamed date you were going to get, you were not about to mess this up. "You know what? Now that I think about it, I could actually use a suit," you lied. >Applejack choked at your words, and started coughing. >"Marvelous! I will have everything ready at, let's say, 6 o' clock. Is that okay with you?" inquired Rarity. >You would've looked for a clock on one of the walls, but a bandage was on the way. >You would have to go with it. "Yeah, it's perfect," you agreed. >"Very well then! Now, are you alright, dear?" Rarity addressed the other mare. "Did you choke on something? Your words, maybe?" >"Oh, shut up. Besides, didn't you think he might have the day occupied? Hearts and Hooves day, remember?" pointed out Applejack. >"Oh my! How naive of me! Anon, am I interrupting anything this afternoon? Forgive me for not asking sooner, I got too carried away," asked Rarity. "No worries, I am free as a bird," you casually replied. >"Perfect! It's settled," said Rarity. >"Well then, seein' as this is over, ah think we should let them in," announced Applejack. "Big Mac! Get 'em in here!" >You didn't even have time to protest as more people entered the room, and approached your bed from the front. >Their hoofsteps were faster than the mares', so you just assumed they were fillies. >"Okay, girls, what are you supposed t' say?" voiced Applejack. >"We are sorry," apologized the fillies in unison. >You recognized both Scootaloo and Applebloom, but there were no signs of Sweetie Belle. "Um... for what?" you asked. >"For knocking the life outta' you, maybe?" enlightened Applejack. "Wait, did they do this to me?" you incredulously asked while pointing at your face. >"You honestly don't remember, darling? That scooter must be harder than it seems," replied Rarity. >"Oak wood, strongest there is!" Scootaloo exclaimed proudly. >"Hey, no one said you could speak yet!" scolded Applejack. >You faded out of the conversation. >All you could think of was what Rarity mentioned; scooter. >The familiar word bounced in your head, trying to find itself a meaning. >Forgotten memories started resurfacing at its command, bringing back with them a lot of pain, and embarrassment. >In a blink, you remembered it all. >The scooter breaking your face, your conversation with Sweetie Belle, her insistence on asking you something, getting discovered while eavesdropping, everything. >Angst started spreading throughout your gut as you wondered, what could be the reason behind Sweetie Belle's absence? Your chance with Rarity depended on it. >"Sugarcube, you okay? You look awfully pale," said a concerned Applejack while giving you a little shove in the shoulder. >That's all it took to take you out of your trance. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. If I'm hearing well, Sweetie's voice is missing," you replied. >"She said she was feeling ill, so she stayed at home. Don't worry though, as soon as she's feeling better she will apologize to you too," stated Rarity. "I don't think that will be necessary. Either way, I hope she gets better," you said. >"Okay, it's time to go. Anon looks like he could use a bit of rest," Applejack exclaimed. >"Can we stay with him?" Applebloom asked suddenly. >"Yeah, we want to... uh... take care of him. To make up for the scooter thingy," suspiciously added Scootaloo. >You weren't even convinced by that. >"Ah'm not so sure... " Applejack caught up to it too. "It's up to you, Anon." "I don't know... I am feeling kind of sleepy," you pointed out. >"Really? We may get a little talkative on the way back, you know?" Scootaloo threatened. "They can stay! I-I mean, I'm fine with it, whatever," you immediately uttered. >You remembered they knew about your little endeavor. >You had to concede, you couldn't risk your date with Rarity. >"You sure 'bout that?" you could feel Applejack's doubtful stare looking for clues on the veracity of your comments. "Y-Yeah! Who doesn't love a little bit of company?" you began sweating. "Besides, if... um... i-if anything happens, they can go fetch the nurse!" >Interminable seconds passed as Applejack analyzed your statement. >You were about to break at the pressure when, finally, she spoke. >"Alright then. Girls, behave. See you later Anon, hope you get better," she said before taking off. >"Take care, darling, I will see you later today," Rarity said while following her friend out of the room. "Bye!" you replied. >As they were leaving, you felt all the muscles of your body loosen up, and let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding. >You swore you would hug Nurse Redheart when you had the chance; if it hadn't been for that bandage of hers, you would've been made instantly. >"That was laughable." >Scootaloo reminded you that you still had a long way before you could actually relax. "Don't even start, you monster," you sharply answered. >"What are you gonna do? Slam your face into something?" Scootaloo mocked. "You think you're funny don't you? If it weren't for this thing in my head..." you warned. >"Wait, you can't see, can you?" she realized. >Maybe telling her that was a mistake. >Suddenly, a hoof poked one of your knees. "Ow! Hey, stop that," you groaned. >"Oh, this is awesome," she admitted. >This time she poked your stomach. "That's it, come here!" you exclaimed while tossing your arms in her direction, missing entirely. >"Too slow!" she thrust you again. "Argh!" you reached out for her new position. >"Whoops, missed!" she jabbed you another time. "When I get my hands on you!" you failed once again. >"Close one!" she delivered another blow. >You've had enough. >As soon as you heard her voice again, you launched yourself from the bed taking both of you to the floor. "Got you! Now, stay still!" you ordered while holding her from her chest. >"Make me," she challenged, and delivered a final tap with her hoof on your chest. "Oh, you are so de-" >"Stop it! Both of you!" Applebloom shouted gaining both of your attention. "She started it!" you voiced. >"Ah don't care who started it, that's no way of treatin' your friend. I want you t' apologize," Applebloom commanded. "But-" "No buts!" she added. >You sighed. You were too old for this. "Fine." >You turned to Scootaloo knowing that, behind your bandage, she was grinning devilishly. "I... I am sorry," you apologized between clenched teeth. >"Nope, not good enough," Scootaloo replied. "Really?!" your patience was running out. >"Scoots..." reprimanded Applebloom. >"Okay, okay. I forgive you," Scootaloo said. >"An' what else?" Applebloom inquired. >"Ugh... I am sorry, too," Scootaloo appeased. "Apology accepted," you answered. >"Good! Now that's how friends should behave," happily pointed out Applebloom. "Yeah, yeah," you acknowledged while getting back on your bed. >"I was just trying to have a little fun," whined Scootaloo. >You threw your best glare at her, it didn't do much with the blindfold on the way. "Alright, let's get to the point. First of all, did you say anything to anyone about what happened at the park?" you spoke. >"No, but for Sweetie Belle's sake, not yours," Scootaloo replied. "Then, what did you tell Rarity and Applejack?" you asked. >"That we pranked you. We all got grounded for it, even Sweetie Belle," Applebloom responded. >You were starting to feel guilty, it was all your fault, but at least Sweetie had what she wanted, you spending time with her sister. "I'm sorry, girls. I had a really stupid reason for doing what I did," you admitted. >"It's not us you should be apologizing to, you know?" Scootaloo spoke. "Yeah, I know... Tell you what, I'll go apologize to her this afternoon," you replied. >"That won't cut it, you'll have to do it our way," Scootaloo pointed out. "Your way?" you stated doubtfully. >"We want you to have a picnic with her," said Applebloom. >That wasn't so bad, you thought. "Okay, we'll do it first thing in the morning," you voiced. >"No, it has to be today!" exclaimed Applebloom. "No can do, I've got some things to take care off," you informed. >"No, you don't. Unless you want me spilling the beans," menaced Scootaloo. >Damn clever filly. >You were at an impasse; going to the picnic and missing your date with Rarity, or ignoring the fillies and ruin it. >Maybe you could manage something that satisfied both parties. "Fine, I'll do it. On one condition though, it has to be before 6 pm," you said. >"Great! You go pick up Sweetie Belle at 4 o' clock, an' take her below the cherry trees at the gardens. We'll take care of the rest," assured Applebloom. >The amount of detail managed to surprise you. "Okay then. Now that everything is settled, I would like to get some sleep," you spoke while yawning. >"We'll leave you alone then. Let's go, Scoots!" the filly announced, and walked towards the exit. "See ya Anon, hope you get better."
