This is my bad version of the skiing trip story after a friend tried to edit it.   >Day Skiing Trip in Equestria. >You are Anon. >Fluttershy and her friends had invited you to a skiing trip scheduled for today. >It was going to be at a very tall mountain. >Perfect for a nice ski time. >You wake up at the sound of your alarm clock, excited for today. >You spend your time fixing yourself up. >You shit, shave, and shower today. The first time you successfully pulled off the famous triple S! >You feel accomplishment flowing throughout your body. Either that, or it’s the water from the shower. >After drying yourself off using some luxurious shampoo Rarity generously gave, you put on your winter clothes then head for Twilight's. >You meet up with the rest of the p0nies and leave for the mountain. >When you get there, you jaws slam into the ground. Holy crap! >The mountain looks amazing. >Twilight pulls out a book from her bag. >"It looks as great as the pictures in my book!" >Rainbow Dash pulls out her skiing equipment. >"This is gonna be so awesome!" >Pinkie Pie pulls out some ice skates and runs towards the frozen lake. >Fluttershy starts tugging your leg. >"Anon?" >You look down at her, pulling out your skiing equipment with a smile. What do you want, Fluttershy? >"I-I was wondering if you could t-teach me how to ski? This is my first time." >You give her a "seriously?!" face. >"It's just that I don't have time for skiing unlike all of my friends." >You sigh, and look at her. I guess I could help you out. Could be fun. >Her wings flutter and she gives you a hug. >"Thank you Anon!" >The two of you walk to a short snow hill to help Fluttershy practice the basics of skiing. >You help her put on her gear. >She giggles a couple times. Alright, just stay calm and push yourself forward and you should be fine. >Fluttershy attempts to ski down the hill, failing and rolling into a ball. >You can't help but chuckle. >This continues for hours, until you finally start to lose patience. Can I please go down that giant mountain instead of stay here, wasting my time teaching you?! >Fluttershy covers her head with her mane. >"I-I'm sorry Anon. You don't have to stay with me. Have fun." >You run off towards the top of the mountain wit a slight feeling of regret towards your sudden outburst. She didn’t deserve that. Damn my impatience! >When you finally reach there, you are tired as hell. >"Anon! What are you doing?!" >Rainbow dash picks you up, shoving your ski's into your arms. Well sorry, but not all of us can go up mountains extremely fast. >Rainbow Dash facepal-err facehoofed. >"But Fluttershy did it!" >She points at Fluttershy, who is just sitting there. >She waves at the two of you. >How did she get here that fast? >"Hi Anon. Is being beating by me in a walk up a mountain your fetish?" >You decide it would be best to ignore her. >Rainbow Dash puts her skiing goggles over her eyes. >"So Anon, ready for a race?" >You equip all of your gear, and nod. I'm always ready. >Rainbow Dash draws a line in the snow. >"We start here. First one down wins." >The two of you walk onto the line, and get ready to start skiing. >"We start in 3...2...1..." >She pushes you into the snow. >"GO!" >Rainbow Dash rushes down the mountain, gaining her lead due to cheating. >When you are about to go down, you hear a weird noise. >You turn around to see Fluttershy freaking out. >"AVALANCHE!" >You grab Fluttershy and attempt to run. >The avalanche quickly engulfs the two of you, making you both pass out. >... >You wake up hours later. >You are buried under the snow, not know what is going to happen next. >You look around, and find Fluttershy’s hair hanging out in the snow next to you. >You frantically start digging her out. >She is still unconscious. >You start digging around more to find that you both conveniently were buried in front of a cabin. >You carry Fluttershy into the cabin, putting her on the couch. >You look around the cabin to see if anyone is here. >You see a closed door, and proceed to open it. AHHHH! >A skeleton comes out of the door you opened. Better hide that before Fluttershy sees it. >You grab it and bury it in the snow outside. >You hear some footsteps when you turn around. >"Where am I?" >Guess Fluttershy's awake. Fluttershy, we were in an avalanche and I brought us to this cabin. >Fluttershy starts looking at you with concern. >"An avalanche?!" How are our friends going to find us?! How are we going to surviv-" >You put your hand over her hoof. I don't know how we're going to get out, but I have a ton of food and water. Survival shouldn't be a problem. Well, except for the cold." >Fluttershy starts moving close to you. >"I heard cuddling helps with the cold." >You look at her in the eyes. >With thoughts creeping into your mind of the idea, you push it out of your mind. Yeah, no. We are not cuddling. >Fluttershy's ears start to lower. >"Oh." >You feel a little guilty considering she is a good friend of yours. >You walk away from her and find a bookshelf filled with books from top to bottom. >You grab a book and start reading it feeling like Twilight Sparkle in her free time. >... >After a couple of hours, you check on Fluttershy. >When you see her, she is starting to shake a little. >She notices you, smiling >"Hi Anon." Hi Fluttershy. >You notice that her teeth are shaking lightly. Do you want my coat or something? I'm sure it would help you. >You take your coat off and wrap Fluttershy with it. >The idea of cuddling creeps up into your mind again, but you find the will power to push it away again. >Her shaking has stopped after that. >"Thanks Anon." >You notice that there is a fireplace, so you pull put your lighter and burn the wood. >The room starts to brighten up. >Sadly, the wood was limited, so the fire lasted only for a few minutes. >Everything starts to get cold again. >Fluttershy starts poking you. >She is starting to shake a lot. >"A-A-Anon? I-I'm not trying to hit on you or anything of the like, but I'm really cold. Can we please cuddle?" No. >Thinking back to the book you read which happened to have some strategy in keeping warm, you recite what you read to Fluttershy in hopes that it helps. You know, I read in that book that it’s best to keep your body moving. The blood flow warms the body a little. >”Oh, that’s interesting. I’ll try that.” >Fluttershy starts performing basic pony stretches, her shivering dieing down a little, but not completely. >An hour passes by. >Fluttershy looks really cold right now. >She is shaking a lot. >She stutters all of her words, and has trouble moving. >Guess it's time to accept the cuddle. >You move in close to her and wrap your arms around her. >She smiles at you. >" T-Thanks Anon." >She starts to wrap her hooves around you. >It actually feels nice and warm. >Guess she wasn't making this up. >... >A bunch more hours pass by, and it is nighttime. >There was only one bed, so you just share it with Fluttershy. >She moves in really closely to you. >Her soft hair is in your face. >She moves to nuzzle you. >Did she plan this or something? >When you wake up, you notice that Fluttershy is holding you tightly. >She looks unhappy, and very cold. >"Anon?" >You look at her. >"How long do we have to endure this cold until our friends find us?" >You shake your head. I don't know Fluttershy. We can only hope for the best. >She looks up to you. >"I hope they can find us." I hope so too. >Two days later... >The weather has been getting worse by each minute. >Both of you are shivering a lot. >Cuddling helps, but doesn't get rid of all of the cold. >"Anon?" >You look at her. Yes Fluttershy? >"I-I don't think that I'm go-" >She lets go of you. >Oh no. Not the hypothermia! >You start shaking her. Fluttershy? Are you ok?! >She is not responding. >No. >You start shaking her even more. Fluttershy! Answer me! >Still no response. >You refuse to believe she’s dead and feel her heart for a beat. >Your hopes rise as you feel an ever so gentle beat. >You start frantically running around the cabin, searching for things to burn to keep her warm. >You find a broken, wood table in the storage. >You bring the wood into the fireplace. >After that, you take Fluttershy and place her in the warmth of the fire. >You hold Fluttershy in your arms very tightly. >Tears start running down your face. Don’t worry Fluttershy. I won’t let anything happen to you. >You feel Fluttershy weakly shifting in your grasp. >”Th…Thanks…Anon…” >Her voice sounds really dry and weak, almost quieter than she usually speaks. >This can't be happening. >Fluttershy doesn't deserve this. >She may have been annoying with her crush on you, but she was still the nicest p0ny you've ever met. >She was the only that that didn't discriminate against you when you first arrived here. >She offered you a room in her cottage when you had no place to stay. >She was always fun to hang out with. >And now she is on the verge of death. >Fluttershy drifts into a deep sleep in your arms, shifting about a little bit to make herself comfortable. >You feel slightly warmed >God I hope we get out of here before… >The door to the cabin slams open. >"Anon! Fluttershy! We're here to rescue you guys!" >That was Rainbow Dash. >This is not going to be easy for her to see. >"There you are! I was so wor-" >She looks down, seeing Fluttershy lying there weakly. >"Fluttershy?" >Fluttershy opens her eyes slightly to see Rainbow Dash. >”H…help…” >She grabs Fluttershy and flies off as fast as she can to Ponyville. >Twilight soon enters the cabin and retrieves you. >After what you’ve been through, knowing Fluttershy is most likely not going to make it, you start to form tears in your eyes. >Why her... >Hours pass by when you wake up in a bed, at first not remembering where you are. >After examining the white walls, ceilings, and floors, you remember you’re in the hospital. >You sit up straight in a rather swift motion, only to be held back by twilight. >”Easy there, Anon. You need rest. Doctor’s orders.” >You look at Twilight with huge worry. Fluttershy, how’s she doing? >They’re doing everything they can to save her. Right now, things are very bleak. >Twilight sighs >”Anon, thank you for trying to help her out. She’s one of my closest friends and knowing you tried your best to help her out when her life depended on it, I just can’t think what might have happened if you weren’t there. Thank you, deeply.” >Taking in Twilight’s words, you feel you really don’t deserve her thank you. I was just doing what any…pony, I guess, would do in that kind of situation. >Anon, it’s more than that! You may have just saved a pony’s life, despite being incredibly different! And you think being different, I may not have had just the same capabilities as any pony in this world?! Damn it, why do you discriminate? Being me doesn’t mean I can do any less! Haven’t you ever learned through your studies in friendship or at least any of those books you stick your nose in 24/7?! >Twilight is about to open her mouth to say something, but closes it in realization that you’re right. Just…tell me how Fluttershy is doing. >Days pass by and you can’t help the anxiety rising up in you. >Today is the last day Fluttershy remains in the hospital. >It’s a day that determines whether she lives or dies. >You’re sitting in the waiting room, opposite of the mane 6, staring down the halls, waiting for Nurse Redheart. >Your heart leaps as you see her coming down the hallway. >”You 6 here for Fluttershy?” >You and the other 5 nod yes in unison. >”Well, I will be glad to report that Fluttershy is doing a lot better than before. She will is going to survive.” >At that moment, the world seems to stop as you feel a tsunami of relief crashing against you with immense force like a piano dropping from the sky onto some unsuspecting pony’s head. >”She just needs a little bit of rest for about 5 hours, then she can return home.” >Nurse Redheart walks off with Twilight explaining more details about what they should and shouldn’t do with Fluttershy yet. >”Hey! You know what this calls for?” Pinkie Pie starts with a bounce. >”A PARTY!” >You and the other 5 are somehow at Sugarcube Corner with decorations all set up for a party. >You feel a pit in your stomach and decide to sit at a corner table in isolation. >Twilight notices and walks over to you. >”You okay, Anon?” >You look over to Twilight before looking down at your cupcake. No. It should have been me in that hospital. I should have been the one freezing to death. >Twilight sits down next to you. >”Don’t say that. You saved a life. That’s all that matters.” >You just sigh. >”I’m sorry for what I’ve said earlier. What I’ve done. Saying what you said earlier has taught me a lesson I will not soon forget. Thank you.” >You look at Twilight who is gratefully smiling at you. >After an awkward moment, you decide there is one last thing left to do. Party. >A few hours pass by and you all gather at the hospital to see Fluttershy, finally back up on her hooves. >As soon as she leaves her room, the others open up to her to join in a group hug, only to be surprised as she flies right past them. >She’s coming straight for you! >You fall to the ground as she tackles you with a hug so tight, you feel like you can’t breathe. >”Thank you so much, Anon! I’m so glad you were there, I l…” >You can see she’s holding back something. >She breaks away from you and backs away shyly. >”Umm…I’m sorry. I wasn’t really going to say anything like… you know. Right?” >Now you believe it’s the time to say something that’ll either make or break your friendship. >Fluttershy looks at you in worry of what you might say.
