>It's been a couple of weeks in, and you've finished all of your basic training with Miss Sting. >It's crazy, it feels like only moments have past since you started. >"You okay there Shygirl?" asks Miss Sting. Oh yes, i'm just a little amazed by how quickly this has all gone. >"The training? Yeah. It's pretty short. Only a couple of weeks if your avid enough." Rainbow finished her training too right? >"Yep. Crayola had a tough time for awhile trying to keep up with you, but she's finished all the same." That's good. >You sit down and drink a capri sun that Miss Sting tossed you. Miss Sting, i have a question. >"Shoot." What now? >Miss Sting looks at you puzzlingly. I mean, what do i do now? >"Pfffhaha, what a silly question. You can do whatever you want Shygirl. You can stay, leave, kick someone's ass-" Oh my, i wouldn't do that... >"My point is, you're the captain of the boat on this one kid, you just gotta steer it where you want it to go." she says putting a towel around her neck. >I can do what ever i want. >... I'd like to stay... but what is there to do around here now that i've finished the basics? >"Well, i know you haven't ever really spoken to anyone here, how about you ask someone here?" I uh... i don't know about that, they all look very busy. >"Oh nonsense. Anyone here'll help anyone in need. It's in the unwritten rules you know." Now i do. >"Well chop chop Shygirl, we only got a couple of hours left until closing time." Oh my, but i haven't done that much today! >You hurry off to... somewhere. >You make your way towards a woman you remember meeting in the women's locker room. U-um, excuse me, do you think you could help me out? >"Oh hay, you're the girl that Sting was teaching, right?" Yes... >"Well hay, now you're off the leash. How about i bring you around the pit? Show you where stuff is." That would be great, thank you very much... um... >"Name's Cross Counter. Everyone here calls me Crossy. Come on, let me show you around." >She takes you through the pit, showing you where everything is at, and what you are supposed to do there. >Theres a double ended punching bag. >A normal punching bag. >Some weights. >And then she brings you over to the.... ring... >"Well, how about we get you in the gear and we go at it for awhile?" W-w-what? I couldn't do that... >"Listen, everyone here had the fear of going in to the ring to spar for the first time. Most of us put it off to the very end. How about you step us up one and be the one to do it on her first day out of training?" she asks with a smile. B-but, i mean, who would i spar wi- >"You can spar with me!" says a sweaty Rainbow Dash. A-are you okay Rainbow? >"Oh, what, me? Yeah, sure. I just... you know... feelin' the burn is all." You should take a rest. >"Nah! I got this. Lets get the gear on and get going!" she says knocking her fists together. O-oh... well if you really want to that bad then i guess- >"SWEET! Lets get ready to rumble! EEEEE! I've always wanted to say that!" says Rainbow hopping up and down. >Counter pulls you in to whisper into your ear. >"Go easy on her." she says patting you on the back. >You feel a small smile creep on your mouth. >You both get the gear on and someone rings the bell. >Rainbow starts throwing out punches out of nowhere! Oh gosh... oh gosh... >"Come on Shy, don't just dodge, you gotta throw some punches too." O-oh, no thank you, i'll wait till after you're done. >You just keep dodging punches. >She begins to pant. Oh, are you okay Rainbow, do you need me to go get so water or somethi- >"PUNCH ME ALREADY!" EEP! *WHAM* >You close your eyes. >... >Nothing happened? >You open your eyes and see... O-oh my... >Rainbow dash is on the ground. >D-did i do that? >Someone rings the bell again. Oh gosh, i didn't mean to do that i-i-i just, i mean... >"Yo Shygirl, you knock Crayola out?" asks miss Sting entering the ring. I-i-i didn't mean t-to do it... i mean- >"Don't worry, she'll be up and running in a minute or two. That was a hell of a haymaker there." she says lifting up Rainbow and taking off the gear for her. >You and her help Rainbow to a bench. >You really can't believe you just... knocked out Rainbow. >Then again, she was already tired. Maybe this was just a fluke. >"Saw the whole thing, you used everything you learned so avidly." she says patting you on the back. >This moment feels pretty good. >Rainbow Dash starts to wake up. Oh my gosh Rainbow, i didn't mean to punch so hard... >"Huh? Wha?" she mumbles waking up. >"You got knocked out by Shygirl here. You need a capri sun there Crayola?" >"She... woah... good on yah Shy. Didn't think you had it in you." she says giving you a thumbs up. >"Well girls, i'm glad you got that quick spar in, cuz it's closing time." >"AWWWWW! Come on! I JUST got in the ring!" whines rainbow. Come on Rainbow, we can do it again tomorrow. >She looks at you. Wh-what? >"Well i mean, you aren't gonna knock me out Tomorrow." she says with a scoff. I'm not too sure Rainbow, i think i could do it again. >OH MY GOSH DID YOU JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD? >Miss Sting laughes and pats you on the back. >"Now THAT'S my girl!" ------------------   >Well, it's morning. >Time to go to school then. >You Get up, shower, brush your teeth, and then walk outsi- >You look at the mirror. >You always have your hair over your face. >... >Didn't miss Sting say you looked better with your hair out of your face? >You push some of it behind your ear. >Wow... you almost look like a different person. >And... you do look a little more presentable... >What if i tied it in a ponytail? >Oh wow. >Now i look really different! >You can't say you look bad at all. >Maybe Norman would start checking you out no- >OH GOSH STOP THINKING ABOUT STUFF LIKE THAT. >You head down stairs and eat a hearty breakfast. >Dad says that if you eat enough wheaties, you might get put on the box. >Can you imagine that? >You head outside and wait for the bus. >Wow, you know, you feel really good today. >When the bus comes up, you step on and happily take a seat. >Yeah, this day REALLY feels like it's going to be a good da- >"Um... excuse me, what did i tell you about MY seat?" asks Sunset. >... How about you sit somewhere else for a change? I think i like this seat. >A-are you really saying this? >"Excuse me?" I said, how about you take a different seat? There's plenty of other seats on the bus. >She scoffs. >You kind of hate that noise. >You don't think you have ever scoffed in your whole life. >"How about you just go to the back of the bus like a good little girl an-" How about you TRY and make me get out of this seat? >You've never talked like this before... is this what it's like to stand up to someone? >It kind of feels... exhilarating. >I mean, you don't want to get in a fight, but just standing up for yourself feels really good. >Sunset backs off and sits in a seat next to Atomic Adam. >She looks mad. You mad? >She glares at you. >She's mad. >Oh well, this seat feels good. >A lot better than the seats in the back. >When the bus finally comes to a stop at the school, you are the first one off. >You skip down the stairs with a bit of a hum. >You open the door and- >"Hay! I told you last time, you can't just do tha-" But i did. >"That's not the point, i have an image to hold up!" How about you change your image. You would look better if you didn't act like such a- >"Such. A. What?" Well... a big meanie. >She snorts. >"A meanie? Oh my god... come talk to me whenever you learn how to talk like an adult." she says pushing past you. Would you have rather i call you something else? >She stops. >"You know, i've been hearing a rumor that you've been learning how to box." Yeah. >"Hehehe, well... how about i give you some advice?" she says facing you now. >She comes real close. >"How about you learn your place?" >... >She giggles and heads inside. >"Hay Fluttershy. Where you talking to Sunset again?" asks Norman. Gosh, just sometimes i feel like i should hit people like that... i mean, if it was okay to do that. >Norman looks kind of shocked. >"Fluttershy, it's always just best to ignore those types of people." But Norman, she's been picking on me and- >"So she has been picking on you..." he says looking towards the door. Y-yes... >"She hasn't changed one bit has she?" >... No, she hasn't. >"Well then that's just sad. She has such a big opportunity to start over on a clean slate, yet she chooses to continue to act the way she does. It might just be something she's repressing." he says looking away. >What could Norman mean? >"Anyway Shy, just ignore her. If she starts bothering you, get away from her. I don't want to here that you've been getting into any fights." I-i would never fight anyone Norman. >He smiles. >"That's good to hear. I think you are the only one here that has a sense of true kindness Fluttershy. I hope you never loose sight of it." he says looking at you. >Wow, Norman must really care about yo- *Riiiiiiing* Oh no, that's the warning bell before the tardy bell, we better hurry Norman! >"Yep. See you at lunch Shy." he says jogging off to his class. ---------------------   >Classes seem to go by fast today. >Maybe it's just that i'm in a good mood. >I mean, i'm normally happy, but still. >Oh gosh, you need to get to P.E. now. >You hurry to the girls locker room and change out into a shirt and some baggy shorts. >Rainbow is always so confident with her body. >She always wears really tight shorts. >She says she would bring a smaller shirt too if they would allow her. >So admirable. >At least you aren't the only one who dresses with just a plain t-shirt and baggy shorts. >Applejack does it too. >"Alright girls, let get out there and work up a good.... mmmm... sweat." says our female coach. >Everyone calls her... >They call her... >Buffed up clitoris short shorts coach. >Her real name is coach Cindy though. >It's kind of mean, but... >I' mean it just shows... >We do as we say so we don't have to be around her for that long. >Outside and jogging, you two friends catch up to you. >"Woah Fluttershy, you sure do look cute with your hair all done up like that." says Applejack. O-oh, it's not that good. At least it helps keep my hair out of my face. >"She's right though Shy, you look more confident with it like that." say Rainbow giving you a hard pat on the back. >You don't like it when people do that. >"So Fluttershy, Rainbow, how's the boxing going?" asks Applejack. I-it's going just fine. >"Ehhhh, it's been alright." says Rainbow looking to the side. >"YO DAWGS, WE HAVIN' SHIRTS VERSUS CHESTS!" screams some boy from the basketball court. >"Woah woah woah guys, i wanna see this." says Rainbow. >"Sugarcube, they're gonna know you're gawking." disapproves Applejack. >"Oh shut up, you know you wanna see boy's all sweaty too." >Oh gosh... >Applejack doesn't say anything and just stands by Rainbow near the fence. >"YO, I GOT NORMAN, THAT NIGGA RACIST, BUT HE CAN DUNK." says the boy. >"Okay, first off, i'm not raci-" >"FINE NIGGA, YOU CAN GET NORMAN, BUT I GOT SCOTT. NIGGA STRONK." says the other boy. >Poor Norman, he's tries his best to tell people he isn't racist. >"AIGHT NIGGA. CHESTS GONE WIN THOUGH." says the first boy. I don't get it, what do they mean by shirts versus chests? >"It means one team wears shirts, the others don't" says Applejack. O-oh... >... >OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH. >"Heh, poor Norman, he's got to show his tiny body." >"Yeah, Norman is pretty skinny." But Norman has- >Norman takes off his shirt. A-abs... >You all go silent. >"SHEEEEEEIT, MY RACIST HERE LOOK STRONKER THAN SCOTT." >"For the love of god i'm not a raci-" >"LOOKS LIKE WE GOT OURSELVES A REAL MATCH!" >They begin playing. >Wow, Norman really is good at dunking. >Maybe he's good at all sports. >"W-wow... this whole time... and we've been going to the boxing club with him." says Rainbow Dash fixated on Norman. >"Shucks, i had him pegged wrong too. He hides it well." >Why are they just saying all of this out loud like that? >It's kind of embarrassing. U-um, how about we get back to jogging. >"Why? Norman's doing really good." >"SHIT, RACIST SLAMMIN LIKE THIS IS SPACE JAM." >"See?" >Have to find a good excuse. >Got one! But coach Cindy is coming. >"Welp i'm done." Says Applejack jogging off. >"Nope." says Rainbow doing the same. >You follow behind with a smile. >You look back to Norman, slam dunking yet again. >Maybe he just really likes dunking. >"THAT'S A HUNDRED PERCENT, WELCOME TO EQUESTRIA HIGH NIGGA!" -------------   >School ends like normally. >You get a text. >It's from Rarity. >It reads "Fluttershy, are you free for the usual today?" >It also has a smiley face. >You reply with a yes. >And a smiley face. >You in return, get a smiley face. >You walk over to the spa and meet rarity by the front door. >"Daaaaaariliiing! You look so Great with your hair like that." Rarity, you saw my hair at lunch. >"I did, but i just can't get over it!" I-it's not that big of a deal. >"Oh, but it most simply is! You've never been so confident before either. I was dread incarnate when i heard you were  taking up boxing." >So was my mother. >"I can see though that it is helping you out quite a bit." she says opening the door. >You walk inside and are greeted by Aloe and Lotus. >"The normal please." says rarity, handing over the money. Actually, we would like the premium today. >You hold out your money and push rarity's out of the way. >Rarity gets really giddy. >The next thing you know, you are both in a soothing hot tub. >"Wow, your stomach seems nice too. May i?" What? >"May i touch it?" O-oh, u-um... i g-guess that would be oka- >She puts her hand on your stomach. >You can't help but inch it away a bit. >You ARE ticklish. >"Wow, its well shaped. It's doing wonders for your body." Th-thank you... >"You know, i used to take a yoga class." >Here it comes... --------------   >After some much needed relaxation and rarity's gossip, you say goodbye and head to each others homes. >You feel pretty tired actually. >You feel like you have used up a lot of energy. >Maybe it's just because you were more peppy today. >How does Pinkie do this every day? >Maybe she does it in front of us, and then crashes out when she gets home. >You open the door to your house. >Go straight for your room. >Put food in Angel's bowl. >And finally flop onto your bed. >You feel Angel get on the bed and then start to tap at you. Hi Angel. >You roll over for him to get on your belly. >He snuggles in a bit and looks at you. Today was great, i'm just so tired. I got to stand up for myself, i got to impress my friends, and i got to look at Norman's bod- nevermind that last part. >Angel looks at you. I-i mean, he does have a nice body... and he's really nice and cares about me. >Angel scratches his ear. You know Angel, i really wouldn't mind going out with Norman. >"Is that so?" asks your mom. EEP! >"Hahaha!" M-mom.. i-i-i- >"So then, this Norman you've spoken about before, you like him now? Or have you always liked him. Moooom~... >"Is he handsome?" >... Very... >"You have a picture?" Well, i have one of me, him, and Miss Sting together. >"Let me see, let me see!" she says with her hand out. >You pass her your phone. >She looks at the picture you have of you and them. >"He looks cute. Have you started giving him hints yet?" No mom... >"Hahahah, well then, you better start. Not every boy has an infinite amount of time for waiting on a girl. Some guys even go out LOOKING for girls. If you don't act fast, you might loose him." she teases. >You think back to Rainbow Dash and Applejack gawking at him. >You frown. H-how do i do that? >"Well, tell me what you think you should do?" Be direct? >"Honey, do you think you could be direct?" Well... a little. >"You are going to need more confidence than that honey." How did you get dad's attention? >"Well, i did a lot of things. I flirted, i tried to make him laugh, i gave him things..." And? >"Well, i just did what i thought would attract him, and it did. Slowly but surely. Oh well, main thing is to keep at it. Men fall prey to pressure, use that to your advantage." >You never knew your mom was this evil. >That's scary. >Poor dad. >"Dinner's ready. It's spaghetti." Oh boy... >Oh gees...
