Equipment: Maverick's weapon and most prized possession is his Bastard Sword, whom he calls "Severance". It is a finely crafted family heirloom, and while ornate and a beautiful weapon, it is sturdy and has been well used throughout his family's history. Mav wears the armor of a mercenary, which is somewhat more "rustic" than he he was used to as a guard captain. It is comprised of leather and iron, while strong and sturdy, it is also light enough to manuever in and out of combat.
 
Mav simply carries two waterskins at his side, and his coin purse, filled with gold from his jobs
 
 
Traits: Mav is a young stallion in his physical prime. He has a medium gray coat with raven black mane. He wears a well trimmed beard on his face. His eyes are a bright and piercing green. Mane is medium length, combed back. Tail is medium length. He is tall and strong, but not freakishly so. Maverick was captain of the guard in the capital city of a faraway kingdom, as his father and grandfather before him, but he was framed for corruption in a mutiny by his fellow guardsmen and imprisoned. He eventually singlehandedly fought his way out of the castle dungeon, recovered his things, and left his home to become and adventurer and mercenary, earning a reputation as one of the best, and most fearsome. Maverick is an unusual stallion, as he can be brash and cocky one moment, or stoic and steely the next.
