>You and Luna sat quietly in her chambers as she finished her paperwork. >She had said she was willing to take you on a patrol with her guards, which was something you had always wanted to do. >Kicking bad guy ass would be fun, provided one was encountered. >If there wasn't any such encounter, no harm, no foul. >It was the experience that counted. >Aside from all of this, what she hadn't said was that she had a massive amount of paperwork to finish. >The boredom killed you as she scribbled away at her notes. >"I'm truly sorry for this, Anonymous," she said while writing. >You only grunted in response, checking for dirt under your fingernails. >Her quill dipped itself in the inkwell several times, but never seemed to separate itself from it for long. >"Ha!" she shouted, dotting a few more things on the paper in front of her. "At last, I am finished!" >You sat up from your position on Luna's bed, ready for the patrol. >A loud groaning noise halted your exit. >There was an awkward pause, before Luna looked down at her stomach. >Staring at it for a moment, she looked back up to you, a sheepish grin on her face. >"Did I say finished? I meant famished." >You collapsed back onto the bed, frustrated. >"I truly do apologize, Anonymous," she said in an attempt to appease you. "Perhaps we can find something quick to eat?" >Only one food came to mind. >Something fast and easy to order and eat. >Pizza. >You asked her about the suggested food, to which she cocked an eyebrow. >"Pete-sa? I've never heard of such a food." >Arising from her bed once again, you walk over to her desk and pick up the quill and inkwell. >You assure her that she'll love pizza while grabbing a piece of parchment paper. >Since phones and internet didn't exist in Equestria, the pizza ordering process started with a written letter delivered via magic. >As odd as that sounded, it beat having to go in and order. >Before writing, though, a thought came to mind. >Were there even any pizzerias open this late? >Luna's stomach growled again, which signaled to your mind to work faster. >Picking one place at random, you begin your letter with your order, then ask Luna what she wants on her pizza. >"What I would like? Food goes on top of the pete-sa?" >Getting impatient, you decide to ask her whether or not she likes onions, green peppers, and olives. >"I enjoy all three of those foods, Anonymous." >Writing down the rest of the order, you roll the parchment up and tie it together with a ribbon, then ask Luna to send it to the pizzeria addressed. >She levitates the letter with her magic, and in a flash, it disappears. >There's an awkward silence while the pizza goes through the delivery process. >This being an order from a royal, though, it wouldn't be long bef- >"Princess Luna," an authoritative voice shouts from behind her chamber door, "A delivered item awaits you at the castle entrance." >A bit too fast, maybe. >The two of you exit her chambers and are met by a night guard, who escorts you and Luna to the front. >A delivery mare sporting a red polo shirt and cap greets Luna at the entrance. >"F-f-f-for y-you, y-y-your m-m-majesty." >This young pegasus shakily handed over a white box, which Luna took in her magical grip. >You paid the mare and tipped her well, having taken on the scary task of delivering something to the castle, let alone a princess. >Taking the pizza, you and Luna return to her chambers. >She opens the box with a curious look, which turns to a hungry one. >She licks her lips at the smell. >Setting the box down, she grabs a slice and bites into it. >Her expression goes blank. >Her pupils dilate. >She chews her food slowly, savoring the taste. >She closes her eyes tightly, and lets out a soft moan. >Swallowing her food, she speaks. "How...have I never heard of this delectable cuisine since my return!?" >She immediately levitates another slice and gobbles it down wholeheartedly. >You decide to get your fill before she eats the whole thing, grabbing a couple slices for yourself. >She scarfs down her next slice in under half a minute. >You're almost terrified at her fervor, half-mindedly eating your share. >She grabs the final slice and eats it in three bites. >You've only gotten through half of your first slice. >She licks her lips of any remaining food, and looks at the box, only to be disappointed at the lack of pizza. >"Anonymous," she says excitedly, "this was one of the best meals I have ever consumed. Better than those fine salads, better than those gourmet soups, better than EVERYTHING." >She rubs her blue belly as she remembers the taste. >You finish your portion and ask her about patrol. >"Oh, yes, how could I forget?" she says. "Follow me." >The next half hour or so involves rounding up the guards, and getting outside. >Her personal soldiers are gathered outside the castle entrance, where Luna leads them and you into the city of Canterlot. >"Tonight, my subjects," she begins informatively, "I am offering a special reward. The first guard to apprehend any kind of criminal will have the pleasure of sharing a pizza with me. Most of the pizza shall be mine, however." >Some of her guards shrugged and spoke among themselves, wondering what could be the reasoning behind the offer. >"Am I clear?" >The entire guard chanted, "Yes, Princess Luna!" >You may have created a monster.
