>The royal sisters walked the streets of Canterlot in the early morning. >Celestia's sun was just barely beginning to rise. >"So what did you tell the guard then, sister?" >Celestia could hardly contain her laughter. >"I told him, 'If you're able to perform ten laps, I'll give you a kiss'." >Luna nudged her older sister's shoulder. >"Ah, flirting with your guard. Has my sister grown lonely?" >Celestia blushed a little, waving her hoof and chuckling. >"Oh no Luna, it's nothing like that. He just needed some motivation was all. As troubled as he was, the moment I mentioned that to him, he raced around the field faster than anypony I've ever seen." >The moon princess' sly grin grew. >"So you gave him that kiss, I take it?" >"Oh, but of course I did. I planted it on his cheek, and he fainted immediately afterwards." >"As I would expect from a young male receiving a kiss from a princess." >As they walked along, they came across a large puddle. >The heavy rain from the night before had left a few, it seemed. >Celestia's eyes grew wide. >"I see that look in your eyes, sister. Are you really still so eager to play in puddles?" >The younger alicorn wasn't given an answer, as the elder one hopped into it and splashed around. >"The water's fine, Lulu! Hop in!" >The blue alicorn rolled her eyes, but smiled. >"I will never understand your enthusiasm when it comes to these puddles, dear sister." >Celestia splashed her hooves in the water before turning to Luna with a devilish grin. >Luna was quick to notice her sister's expression. >"Oh no, don't even think about-" >A small torrent of water was flung towards the moon princess, soaking her. >A fire had been lit inside Luna at that moment. >"If it is a splash battle you want, it is a splash battle you shall receive, sister!" >Luna hopped into the puddle with Celestia, and flung some water at the sun princess. >The two laughed together as they fought with the liquid, leaving each other and the area around them drenched. >When the puddle had run out of water, the sisters stopped and laughed with each other. >They surveyed the area to look at their watery mess. >It only made them laugh harder. >"I don't recall having made this much of a mess since we were fillies, sister!" >Celestia wiped off a smudge of mud from her nose. >"And it was just as fun back then, too." >Luna wiped herself off as well. >"Agh, we'll both need a bath to get this muck washed off." >Celestia smirked. >"Is that an invitation for round two?" >Luna shared her sister's smirk. >"It may very well be, sister." >The two took flight, and headed back to the castle. >Ponies awoken by the disturbance swore their princesses were acting crazy. >But none believed them, waving it off as an odd dream they had.
