>The guard ponies saluted each other as they passed by, patrolling the dark streets of Canterlot. >It had been a peaceful, quiet night. >One of the guards, High Noon, was happy that criminals knew their place. >The other, Bright Sky, wanted to see some action, and was bored out of his mind. >"When I signed up for the guard," thought Bright Sky, "I figured there'd be a lot more to it then walking around the streets all night..." >He wrinkled his noise at his own naivety. >"What an idiot I was." >High Noon looked around the corners of each alley he passed by, looking for anyone up to trouble. >"I'm happy to have contributed to keeping Canterlot a safer place," High Noon thought. >He turned the corner, and yelped in shock at what he found. >Bright Sky heard this yelp, and ran towards the source of it. >"Finally, something!" >He made it to the spot as fast as he could, turning the same corner as High Noon. >He found his fellow guard staring appalled at something tied to a lamp. >Upon closer inspection, Bright Sky was able to recognize what was connected to the lamp. >The white body. >The huge, unfurled wings. >The curvaceous flank with a sun cutie-mark. >"P-princess Celestia!?" High Noon shouted in disbelief. >Her form hung upside-down, her hooves tied together in rope, which in turn was tied to the lamp. >She snored, drool forming at the edges of her mouth. >"How did she...?" >Bright Sky wasn't paying attention to High Noon's babbling. >He instead stared at the princess, turned on by the fact that she was wearing white lingerie and socks. >"Who would even do this!?" High Noon angrily demanded. >He took a moment to notice one more thing attached to the princess. >A small note, wrapped around her horn with string. >"Have fun! -L" >Bright Sky drooled at the sight of the princess. >Perhaps tonight wasn't as boring as he thought. >"Bright Sky, quit ogling the princess and help me untie her!" >The young guard shook his head. >"Uh, yeah, yeah, right."   >The Canterlot sky was bright and sunny, signaling a perfect afternoon to be outside. >Which is why Bright Sky himself mumbled angrily as he patrolled the perimeter of Canterlot Castle. >Instead of being on the outside and playing some sports with his buddies, he was stuck in the castle, patrolling the same places over and over again. >His superior and mentor, High Noon, had a route parallel to his, so that they would always meet in the middle. >"Greetings, Bright Sky." >"Hey." >It went on and on like that, no stopping, all day. >Bright Sky was going insane with boredom. >That is, until he saw some figures moving in the distance. >Ones that he couldn't quite make out. >"High Noon, there's someone over there!" >Bright Sky rushed over in an attempt to catch the mysterious silhouettes. >Anything to break the boredom. >One of the figures noticed Bright Sky and dashed away. >"Stop!" he yelled out. >When he reached the spot the figures sat in, his jaw dropped. >High Noon was right behind Bright Sky. >"What is it Bright Sky!? What did you f-" >The older guard's jaw dropped as well. >Before the two guards was an unconscious Luna bent over on a stool. >Drool dripped out of mouth. >In front of her was a small cloth with a handkerchief adorned with a sun, a jar of chloroform, and a note that read "Have Fun! ;)" >Bright Sky admired the tight red lingerie and long, frilled socks put on the night pony. >She was even fitted with a tiny bow around her torso. >"This again!? Are the royal sisters in some kind of feud?" High Noon wondered aloud. >"I dunno, but I hope it never ends," Bright Sky mused, his hoof reaching out to touch Luna's flank. >High Noon slapped the other guard's hoof and scowled at him. >Bright Sky groaned. >"Alright, fine. Let's just untie her already."
