>"Anonymous..." >Celestia's voice was barely audible. "Yes, Celestia?" >"I'm terribly cold...could you please grab an extra blanket for me?" "Of course." >You return to your trusty roll-around cart and grab an extra fluffy blanket just for her. >It was just like with Luna all over again. >Once she had gotten over her sickness, Celestia had caught it the day after. >You weren't very surprised. >In fact, you were prepared for the event, stocking up extra blankets and cooking up more soups. >You returned to Celestia's bedside, unfurling the blanket and putting it on the shivering sun pony. >She curls within the blankets for warmth. >"Thank you, Anonymous..." >She sniffles, and pulls the blankets on her tighter. >"I'm curious though, Anonymous...why exactly did you want to be the only one to care for me...?" "Because I took care of your sister so well that she got better. It might sound selfish, but I feel like the only one who can care for you two." >She coughs twice. >"A tad selfish, yes...but nonetheless noble..." >She coughs again, this time harder. >You go back to your cart and grab a pitcher of water and a cup, pouring the clear liquid into the glass. >Celestia sees the cup and tries to grab it with her magic. >Her horn flares up with its golden glow as she leans her head up, but quickly flashes out, her head falling back onto her pillow. "Don't stress yourself, princess." >You help her with the cup, bringing it to her lips and tipping it as she bends her head back to drink. >You hear her swallow as she gulps down some of the water. >She signals to you that she's had enough, and you tip the cup back to a normal position. >You set the cup on her nightstand in case she wants more. >"Hm, I guess I'm just...so used to taking care of myself..." >She shuffles around on her bed to get comfortable. >"Anonymous...Luna had told me of your fine soups. Please, could you bring me some?" >You nod and go back to your cart. >Your trusty thermos sits at the bottom of the cart, full of piping hot soup. >You grab the thermos, a bowl, and a spoon, and bring them back to Celestia. >You open up the thermos and pour some of your soup into the bowl, the steam from it rising quickly. >You close up the thermos and set it on her nightstand as well, then dip the spoon into the bowl. >You get a dab of soup into the the spoon and bring it to your face. "Do you want me to blow on it?" >"No thank you, Anonymous. I can eat it that hot." >You bring the spoon to her mouth, allowing her to bite down on it and get some soup. >She swallowed, and smiled. >"Luna was right. This is delightful." "Thanks." >You proceed to get another spoonful of soup and feed Celestia again. >She smiles after each swallow. >This continues in silence until the bowl is completely empty. >Once she's finished eating, she pulls the covers closer to her again, and yawns. >"Thank you for the soup...Anonymous...I think I'll rest now..." "Sleep well, princess." >You grab the thermos, but leave the pitcher and cup, in case she wakes up for a drink. >Before you know it, her breathing has slowed to an even pace, the blankets rising and lowering in rhythm with her breaths. >She is fast asleep now. >You set your thermos on the cart and wheel it outside. >Luna is waiting for you outside Celestia's chambers. >She looks at you, a hopeful glimmer in her eyes. >"Do you believe she will get better as quickly as I did?" >Luna was confident in you, considering the fact that you nursed her back to health so well. "I have no doubts, Luna. She'll be fine in no time."
