The center of the swords blade was cracked down the center causing an uneven split near the center. Not too long ago Strider raided the lab of a particularly ingenius inventor, while rummaging through the Inventor's documents Strider stumbled upon many schematics but while she was rummaging the Inventor returned. Instantly locked in battle the inventor proved to put up more of a fight then she initially anticipated. Finally defeating him through the clever use of her blade, and gravity magic he lay slain. But not before the Inventor was able to parry her blade with a loaded Firelock cannon, and put a curse on her horn. Now with split blade, and magic stripped she retreated in her weakened state with the lone surviving schematic. Seeing a good opportunity she contracted an underground engineer to install a strong piece of Firelock ordinance within the split of her now restored blade. Also restored was most of her magic, but an unfortunate lingering side effect of the curse still remains. Strider has regained the Gun-Blade Exire at the cost of her once great control over the forces of Gravity.)   Sindersting Anti plate(Spellbound: Sindersting Legacy Plate) (Counts as unarmored for now. Armor made up of mithril laced black stained monster's leather, and impact resistant mana capacitor plating. The plating is functionally useless as it has no accompanying power source, the plates are a shade of dark grey with purple glass lines etched into them.)   Manatech Hoofband (Device worn around the fore limb that oxygenates the blood steam of the wearer, and keeps body temperature above hypothermia levels.)   Slag-Vent Mana Collar (Rare, and harnessed by certain certain sorcerers this satin black device rides along the collar of Strider's Sindersting Anti plate armor. The device functions as a draw, and catalyst for magical energies making them more readily available while also serving as a very visible indicator of the magical energy's and fluctuations in the area. When mana is drawn into the body magical stream it most commonly flows through, and to the mind which is in the head so most many has to travel through the neck. The Collar monitors, and regulates excess mana, and converts it into harmless slag which is ejected out the back. IE a spell can only be so powerful, but at a point you can draw in far too much mana. This can cause tangible harm, the collar prevents this by acting as a magical ventillation system. The Slag ejected by the Collar near constantly resembles a flowing bright neon streak behind Strider, with the streak growing brighter, and longer the greater amount of mana Strider is in-taking.)   Reassembling hydra Chains (Six 30ft chains, All are kept in a single bag of holding with twelve different entrances strewn about her armor. Chains can reform overtime naturally. Roll's that would offensively break the chains instead cause them to split much like a hydra, making it increasingly difficult to escape from.)   Metal earrings (Strider wears 2 metal earrings on her right ear just below a nick right before the top of her ear.)   Bag of holding containing Magic notebook (Infinite, always opens to desired page.) Magic quill (Infinite, can change color.)   Strider's minion is "Ken" a magical red dragon that eats near anything, and can shoot fire out of holes beneath it's wings to propel itself at incredible speeds. The clearly unnatural dragon can sustain itself off of nearly anything, it is particularly fond of charred meat, Ashe, and dirt. The Dragons physique is slim, and muscular with a certain feline touch to it, much like a panther.   Unique Character Traits/Info Sindersting family motto: "Ego occidam vos et irrumabo corpus." -Slendergreens Sindersting   Strider was born along with her sister Tyriel at the Sindersting Estates located within the Everfree forests. From the day she was born she was destined to be put through a rigorous training program along with her Siblings to be set into the mold of Proper Heroes. During her young training years Strider was honed both in body, and mind. Her swordsmanship, as well as her knack for the arcane were set up perfectly to flourish excellently. She grew up being constantly tested, and tempered with her Brothers, and Sisters amid the halls of the Sindersting Estate, a special training ground, and base of operations for the Family Sindersting. She has lived with her close family for the majority of her life becoming very attached to them all most prominently Strider's mother is Dark Night Sindersting, or The Countess among onlookers. The Countess established the Sinderstings, and has been a constant never changing entity among Equestria, she has served Equestria since before there was an Equestria, and continues to do so by training her Family in the Art Of Heroism. Strider spent her youth going from day to day studying, and practicing among her Family, it wasn't as boring as one might think but living in a bubble can do things to a Pony. Thankfully this was primarily not the case as the Sindersting progeny were allowed full access to all forms of information regarding the kingdom. While everyone eventually strayed into their own path of study be it Biology, Botany, The Dead, or just Physiology they all had their way, and Strider had hers. She spent her later years of training focusing on general Magic. In the end her natural ability when it came to Telekinesis turned for her the lesser spell into the Apex of Utilitarian magics.     Starting out very young her highly educated, and experienced family taught Strider a plethora of useful skills be it Science, Art, Etiquette, swordplay, fashion, of spell focus she got taught everything she needed to know to function as a proper Hero. The Countess reveled in Strider's education she was so proud to have raised a Daughter that was shaping up to be a Mirror image of herself. On the day that The Countess finally declared her Prodigies fit for service the Sindersting Estates were graced with the presence of a certain someone. During the ceremony in which the now fully grown children would be released into the world they were graced by the presence of None other then the Illustrious Princess Celestia. Coming to offer her blessing to the newly dubbed heroes. To her own surprise Strider found that the Princess had taken a liking to her given that they shared similar coloration, and Strider's general friendliness Celestia proposed to take the young Strider to Canterlot to further her training, and get her more into the world. Agreeing with gusto The Countess bid her children farewell, once they'd left the looming gates of the Estates Strider was whisked away with the Princess to Canterlot. Grow far more sociable among strangers, and the general folk of Canterlot Strider was further enriched by the Princesses sessions of Magical refinement. On her second graduation Strider was sent out to join her fellow Heroes in maintaining peace in the land.   Now a Messenger of the Princess Strider met many friends, and made some enemies. Years after her training was complete Strider, and her new friends embarked on a perilous journey which sot to end the horrible killing spree of a maniacal nameless entity which killed living beings, and consumed their souls gaining power the more it slaughtered. Before the final confrontation it seemed as if even all was lost until they found the beast, and put an end to it's story. When the dust cleared, and only the Party of adventurer's remained they found that where the beast had once lay slain formed an incandescent globe of light. Hysterical, or maybe just hypnotized Strider reached out, and grasped the orb. Flooding her with powers far beyond her own Strider was overcome with an ecstasy of power. Driven mad by the power's strength Strider attacked her Comrades. Fortunately the skilled adventurers managed to quickly subdue the real Strider, and get her back to her sense. Now in her right state of Mind Strider channeled the power into a great spell restoring the land, and all the creatures in it that had been killed by the Beast. Unfortunately the spell she crafted was far too powerful for her mortal for to act as a catalyst for. After casting the spell Strider was reduced to a husk, sickly, and stricken. The spell left her blind, physically weak, grey, and filled with a strong case of amnesia.   When Strider finally recovered from her long period of recovery she'd learned to see with her telekinesis, and wore black primarily. Fragments of the power she once bore still coursed through her but the spells she cast had a tendency to explode in her face. The Princess promised Strider that she would find an answer to her suffering after she had so selflessly saved so many. Strider was in a dark place during her recovery, and despite obvious inconveniences she still continued to 'fight the good fight'. Later realizing that she was unaware of why she was protecting the land, and the people Dark retracted into herself caring less, and less for those around her until eventually she disappeared for several months. What came back was a pale image of what Strider once was, her many sides had been taken to extremes she would have never dreamed up in her former life, her power was immense, her hatred for wrong doors was the trigger for many unjust killings, and her memory, and morality showed no sign of recovery, she descended into being the mare known as Dark Matter for the first time.   Though Evil came in overflowing abundance there was some glimmers of hope that came of Strider, and shown through the black veil of Dark Matter. When Dark Matter had recovered she returned with new found power, and mastery over the forces of gravity, on the very eve of the week of her return to Society one of the many Great Changeling wars began. To not draw it out she, and a party of adventurers were sent to assassinate a changeling queen in charge of the Army waging war on Equestria. Among the mostly decent party was a Shade, a being that could hardly be called a pony as that was what he supposedly was, this Shade was Garrot. Dark matter, and Garrot were instantly at each other's throats, and would continue to be for the entirety of the parties journey. Garrot was to Dark the very thing she wanted to destroy a form of Pure Evil, a being who's soul purpose was the betrayal of others, and the end of all things that wasn't it's own. This bitter intra-war between the two sparked a ray in Dark Matter, slowly bringing back what little remained of Strider. By the time the party had reached the Queen's chambers Garrot's betrayal was inevitable, and so it was that he betrayed the party. In single combat Dark bested Garrot, while the others defeated the Queen. Impaled on his own blade Dark cursed the pony's name, and took his blade as a grim reminder of what not to be.   Though it was a filthy thing, laden with dark magic, and the blood of innocents Dark found it in her to purify the great blade, and make it into something presentable. Among cleansing the crystal blade, turning the dark enchantments upon it, and emblazoning a special Sindersting Family flourish upon the blade the blade could almost be taken as a metaphor for how The Princess took it upon herself to welcome back Dark Matter into Canterlot. Having been key in ending the war, and a friend for many years the Princess gave Dark a second chance, and reinstated her as a Paladin of the Court. Giving her hoof assigned duties to enact on the Princesses behalf the newly reborn Strider was well on her way to regaining the life she had lost.   Much time past, and Strider had recovered most of her body, and mind in the service of the Princess. After she'd been thoroughly cleansed of any trace of Dark Matter, Strider was free to do what she wanted with the Princesses blessings. Now during all this time Strider's family, and friends hadn't just been frozen in time. One friend in particular False Flag had been visiting with Strider's sister Tyriel whom had been experimenting with her tombs in the Sindersting Estate's lower levels. Called back to the Estates by False, Strider would embark on a mysterious adventure with False to reemerge from her long journey many months later. When she returned she brought with her her new friend, and companion Ken, the Cadragon, a feline dragon indebted to Strider for supposedly saving his, and many other Cadragon's lives.   Beckoned to visit by the Royal Court upon news of her return reaching Canterlot Strider, and Ken were sent to dispatch a changeling hive which had been reported to have popped up dangerously close to the City. The hive... bad things happened at the hive the ponies that were sent along with Strider were wiped out almost instantly upon arriving at the hive. Set upon by... abominations of changeling design. Needless to say Strider, and Ken cleared the hive, but at great cost. The only remains of the hive are the empty halls somewhere amid the mountains bordering Canterlot's horizons, and the Black Stain left upon Strider's hair by the sprayed blood of the hive's queen.   Strider is an unpredictable, cerebral noble whom flips her own switches from time to time. She is an incredibly powerful spell caster but she uses telekinesis for nearly everything. While she retains her status as a sorcerer Strider is no stranger to non-magic combat, and as such keeps herself in peak condition both mentally and physically. While she won't jump into the maw of death to save one pony, she often is found clamping that maw down to save everyone at her own expense. Not too talkative in the least bit about the events of the Hive Strider has returned to society a dark shadow of her former self. She has yet to speak, or return to her Family's estate near Canterlot. Strider left, Dark Matter came back.
