>You and Rainbro are kicking some hoofball around in the park.
>With a deft wrist, you feint to the left and manage to kick the ball past Rainbow's outstretched hooves.
>Unfortunately the ball collides with her face and she bowls over backwards.
>You quickly sprint to her side, already laughing.
"Jeez Rainbow, with moves like that you will never catch the ball at this-'
>The ball unsticks itself from Rainbow Dash's face with a squelch and rolls away.
>What lies beneath kills the words in your throat.
>Crouching, you try and bring yourself to say something.
"Rainbow..."
>Instead you slide your hands underneath her form and cradle her.
>You rub your chin against the bruised flesh.
"I'm so sorry..."
>A cyan hoof raises and slaps at your chest, startling you to look down at her.
>Her dangling right eye slowly whirls on its cord to look at you.
>Cracked bloodied lips strain to voice words.
>"You did this."
"No!"
>You drop her corpse, already turning a sickly grey color. Flies collect to her gaping dark eyesockets.
>The sky rumbles overhead and rain begins to lightly drizzle the park.
>Even over the hiss of the rain, Rainbow's voice reaches your ears.
>"You did this to me."
>The mare's form slowly levitates, her crude ruined wings flapping out of sync, her limbs dangling uselessly below her.
>Her jaw dislodges and hits the turf with a thud, yet her voice still rumbles through you, becoming more raspy and slurred.
>"Why did you kill me, Anon?"
>You back away, tripping over the uneven park ground.
>You try to crawl, but Rainbow soon hovers directly above you.
>Rainbow's abdomen begins to swell, flesh cracking around her bloated joints.
>Her windpipe dangles from her open mouth cavity, dripping bile and mucus around your feet. The smell almost makes you gag.
>Suddenly blue petrified hooves wrap around your neck.
>You look into her destroyed face. The gaping black eyesockets seem to stare at you, before the head is thrown back and you look into her maw.
>"WHY DID YOU LET ME DIE ANONYMOUS"
>She explodes.
>You wake up.
>It is morning.
>As you sit up sharply, a cyan hoof runs across your belly.
>"What is it, champ?" The pegasus looks up at you, her cute rainbow mane tousled from sleep.
>Seeing her instantly calms you, and you plant a kiss on her snout.
"Nothing sweetie. Go back to sleep."

>As you blink them away, the mare below you vanishes.
>She vanished from your life a long time ago.
>And it's all your fault.
>You press your palms into your eyes as you begin another day facing your loss.[/spoiler]
