>It's snowing. >Like the day before. >And the day before that. >And it's another regular lunch time in the cafeteria: me having lunch with my friends and she having it alone. >She's the girl with the gorgeous straight, long and pink hair. >She also has mesmerizing blue eyes. >And I can't help but to be hypnotized by those beautiful eyes of hers. >Truth is, I fell in love with her at the first time I saw her. >But there's a catch; there is a rumor she has a... stranger side too. >And when I say "a stranger", you mean batshit crazy. >Word on the street is she was transfered because she killed someone on her old school. >But those are rumors. >Usually rumors aren't true... right? >In any case, she has been alone for a long time, without having a single friend. >And that pains me. >So I decided to talk to  her. >So I worked up my courage as I got up to get to her table. "Uh... Is this seat taken?" >"No, why?" >Tough crowd. "Mind if I sit here?" >"Why?" >Cold. "Because I want to." >"Aren't you scared of me?" "Why should I? You're not ugly." >"Don't try to be funny. I know you heard the rumors, I think everyone heard them." >Straight to the point. "No. They're just rumors, right? I only believe in the truth." >That was the first time I looked her in the eyes. >I expected a cold glare from those eyes, but I was wrong. >"Well, suit yourself." >At least it was progress. "Oh, that reminds me, even though we're in the same class I still don't know your name. I know it starts with P--" >"It's Pinkamena. Pinkamena Diane Pie." "I'm Anonymous. Can I call you Pinkamena?" >"Yes." "Listen, do you have anything to do after school?" >"Why do you want to know?" >Ouch. "I was wondering if... You wanted some company." >"For?" "I could walk you home if you didn't mind." >"Whatever. I'm free after school anyway, if you want something just talk to me." >Now I understand the rumors. >Yeah, she's a bit cold, but so what? >But still, it felt like she was gradually putting her guard down. >And that was a good sign. >"Goodbye Anonymous. I'll see you at class." >She picked up her tray and left the cafeteria. >But there was something different in that sentence. >It didn't had the cold vibes from all the other things she said. >Like she wanted something. >Maybe she was liking that attention.   >A few hours passed. >The bell that marked the ending of our daily classes was almost ringing. >Obviously, I could care less about the end of the classes or the bell. >Not when my mind is completely filled with that flowing pink hair and those mesmerizing blue eyes of hers. >After talking to her, it was pretty obvious she liked the attention I gave her. >And I just couldn't avoid looking at her. >Eventually, the bell rings, which caused me to wake up from my thoughts. >"Class dismissed!" >As soon as the teacher said those words, I got up and went to Pinkamena's desk. >It was all tidy and clean. >She seemed like a good student. >Better than me at least. "So... Mind if I walk you home?" >"You still want... to walk me home?" >She seemed surprised, why, I will never know. "I was being serious during lunch." >"I guess it doesn't hurt to have company once in a while..." >The way she ended that sentence was completely different too. >Like if that cold personality of hers was slowly melting. >It still needed a lot of heat to finally melt fully though. "That's great to hear. So, let's go?" >"Yeah..." >It stopped snowing too. >As soon as we left the building, we could see the white background. >But I didn't comment on it, I knew her answer anyway. >So we just started our journey. >Until I decided to break the ice. "I love this landscape. I really like this snowy weather. What about you Pinkamena?" >"It's alright I guess..." >The rest of the walk was pretty uneventful to say the least. >At least until I decided to dig a little deeper about her past. "Say, can I ask you one thing Pinkamena?" >"Go ahead." "The rumors about you killing a classmate... Are they real?" >When I finished the sentence, she looked away into the distance. >It was a sign. >A sign that said that I screwed up asking her that. "Sorry, I shouldn't have asked that. It's pretty obvious you wouldn't kill a person..." >"Even if I said I didn't, would you believe in me?" >Her way of speaking totally changed. >It looked a lot more natural than before. >I soon realized she stopped walking. >I was just a few meters in front of her. >"I never killed anyone... I swear..." >Then I realize I was seeing a totally different side of this mystery girl. >A soft side of hers. >And when I looked into her eyes again, I saw a surprising sight. >She was crying. >I had no reaction, I never thought I'd see her cry. "I believe in your words." >Her eyes widened. >"You... believe in me?" "Why shouldn't I?" >She lifted her head as I walked to her. "It must be cold, no? Here, take my scarf." >A lot of tears could be seen rolling from her eyes as I put my scarf around her neck. >"Thank you Anonymous..." "Why are you thinking me?" >"Until today, I was just the killer girl to everyone... The truth is, something happened..." >She suddenly hugged me. >It was an unexpected turn of events. >So I hugged her back. >"Can... Can we go to your home Anonymous?" "Yes, but there's one condition." >"What... What is it?" >At this point she was probably scared about my condition. "You have to call me Anon from now on. Deal?" >"Deal..."   >And so we arrived my home. >She was a bit scared when we entered, either that or curious. >As soon as we entered the living room, it started hailing hard. >She did a wise decision coming to my place. >I started up the fireplace to warm up the cold room. "Are you comfortable?" >"Yes Anon, thank you." "It's fine. And you don't need to be so formal. Anyway, I'm going to make some hot chocolate for me, do you want some too?" >"If it's not too much work for you..." "Give me a second then, just make yourself at home." >So I went to the kitchen as she inspected the room. >I grabbed two mugs, milk and the cocoa powder. >Chocolate. >Such a bitter thing, but such a sweet thing as well. >Just like a certain someone. >After a while I came back to the living room. >And there she was waiting for me. >That pink-haired perfection. "It's hot, so be careful." >"Thanks Anon. It's really kind of you." "You're the guest." >And for the first time since I met her... >I saw her smiling. >She was actually giggling... >And it was a pleasant sight. >"Why are you so surprised?" "Oh, nothing, never mind." >"I see." >Her giggles were beautiful. "So, Pinkamena..." >But she didn't let me finish the sentence. >"Silly Anon, don't call me Pinkamena! Call me Pinkie!" >Her personality completely changed. "Uh... Ok. Can I ask you a delicate question?" >"Go ahead Anon!" >I mustered up my courage as the steam from the hot chocolate rose in the air. "Could tell me more about those rumors?" >"What do you mean Anon?" "Can you tell me what happened?" >It was pretty obvious she didn't like that question. >And I guess I could understand why she didn't like it. >"Well Anon, you win. I'll tell you what happened." "It's ok if you don't want to tell." >"No, no. I'll speak. Anyway, it all started last year... I was still going to another school a bit far away. I was pretty popular around them, in fact, my group was pretty popular. But then a new girl appeared. Her name was Twilight Sparkle. At first I thought she was alright, so I threw her a welcome party. She didn't like it at all and called me childish for doing a thing like that, and people started avoiding me out of the blue because «Miss Twilight Sparkle is soooo mature and cool.» So I pulled a little prank on her, but..." >At this point she couldn't contain the tears anymore and started crying again. >"But... But it went horribly wrong and I severely injured her... I swear... I SWEAR I DIDN'T MEAN TO! I'M SORRY" >She couldn't talk anymore due to her crying. >It wasn't hard to deduce what happened next. >Either she survived and Twilight spread rumors of Pinkie wanting her dead. >Or Twilight died and Pinkie was blamed for her death. "It's ok, don't cry anymore..." >I couldn't do much, I hugged her as I let this story sink in. >The steam from the hot chocolate was still going up in the air. >"Thank you Anon... Thank you..." "It's fine Pinkie..." >And so she stayed in my arms for a while...   >The next day I woke up extremely early. >Maybe it was because of the events of the last day. >It was too much action for one day. >Anyway, I promised Pinkie I'd pick her up today. >So I got ready and went to pick her up. >As soon as I opened the door to leave my house, I saw her waiting for me already. >"HELLO ANON!" >Holy shit, she really changed. "Hi Pinkie, woke up early?" >Even her hair was different. >She didn't have the straight hair anymore, now it was all puffy. >And it was beautiful too. >"What's holding you Anon? Let's go!" >And this new personality of hers wasn't bad either. "Yeah, lets." >And so we started to walk to school. >We apparently had a lot of thing in common as well. >And she really needed a friend. >Everything was fine. >Until we arrived to the school. >All kind of looks were upon us. >"Haha! Look at Anon with the killer girl!" >"Do you think Anon has anything to do with her?" >"Maybe they date." >"So that means Anon is a killer too!" >She instantly grabbed my arm. >"I'm sorry Anon, I didn't want to put you through this..." "It's fine Pinkie, ignore them." >We kept walking until our classroom. >We still had a lot of time left, which was good. >Apparently a new student would be joining us. >Pinkie got excited. >"Oooh! A new student! Maybe we could throw him a party!" "Calm down Pinkie. We still don't know who he or she is." >The bell rang a few minutes after that. >The teacher eventually walked in. >"Students, today we have a new student joining us. I want you to be nice to her." >"Ooooh! I can't wait!!" >Pinkie was really excited. >"You can come in now!" >And so, a new girl walked through the door. >She had long, somewhat dark blue hair with some shades of purple and pink. >She was tall and had purple eyes. "She's cute isn't she Pinkie?" >But I got no reply. >"Pinkie?" >And then I looked at her. >Pinkie's eyes widened. >She started shaking too. >This couldn't be good. >"Hello! My name is Twilight Sparkle! I hope we can get along!" >Only then I understood Pinkie's reaction. >She saw a ghost. >"Why don't you sit over there next to Pinkamena and Anonymous?" >"Ok!" >Uh oh. >Twilight really sat next to us. >"Hello Pinkamena. Surprised to see a ghost?" "So you're Twilight Sparkle..." >"Oh? Are you her boyfriend? Quite a catch Pinkamena, I have to say." >Pinkie's fluffy hair just went straight again. >How does she do that? >"We... We aren't dating... We're just friends..." >"Oh my, that means I can have him for myself then!" >For a second there I wondered if she was actually being serious. >By the look on her face she was. >Not sure if I should be happy or not. >Other than that, the classes went well. >Except Pinkie had to go to the infirmary. >But that was understandable. >From what I could see, Twilight had it all: she was beautiful, smart, popular... >What all girls want to be. >Eventually the bell rang for lunch break. >I was going to have lunch with Pinkie. >She said she'd bake something for us. >Apparently, she's good at baking and helped in a friend's bakery. >So I picked her up at the infirmary. "Are you ok Pinkie?" >"Yes... I'm better now..." "Come on, let's go outside, I know a pretty good place for a picnic." >And so, we went to the school gardens. >Our lunch was going pretty well. >She's a good baker. >But I felt that I had to pick this up. "Pinkie... Don't worry about Twilight, I'll be by your side no matter what, I swear!" >She nodded. >"Thank you Anon." >Her smile didn't last for long though. >"Hello friends. Can I join you?" >Even though it was a new voice, I already knew it. "No Twilight, you can't." >"Come on, it will be fun!" >She sat next to me anyway, that girl doesn't know how to take a no. >"Soooooooooo Pinkie... Tell me, do we look good together?" >Twilight hugged me close. >And I guess that's a horrifying sight for her. >Losing the only friend she made. >"So, what do you think? Don't we look cute?" "Let go of me Twilight." >"What?" "Let go of me Twilight." >"Why are you acting like that? Don't you like me?" >She had a point. "It doesn't matter if I like you or not, I just don't want you to hold me like that when we barely know each other." >"Fun killer..." >Twilight finally let hold of me, but she whispered a thing to me. >"I'm not going to let you off the hook." >It sent chills down my spine. >Twilight stood up. >"Well guys, I hope we can get along! Later!!" >To be honest, I didn't understand Twilight's personality at all. >At least she seems determined. "Bye Twilight." >"B... Bye T... Twilight..." >And so, she left. >Pinkie started crying again. >Not hard to understand why. "Don't worry Pinkie... I won't leave your side..."   >And this kept going for about a week. >Me and Pinkie were becoming more intimate every day. >And unfortunately, so was Twilight. >She didn't give up and still tried to get me. >And she went as far as kissing me today. >It was a big blow for Pinkie. >Not that I wanted to kiss her, but I should have avoided it. >It was snowing today as well. >"Anon!" >Suddenly Pinkie called me. >Apparently, I was drowning in my thoughts. "Pinkie, I'm sorry, I didn't want to kiss her I promise!" >"I know. I'm going to have a talk with Twilight after school to settle this once and for all." >The way she said that scared me. >I don't know why, but it did. >It was on my head until the classes finished. >And the final ring of the bell came. "Pinkie, promise me you won't do anything you'll regret later." >"I won't Anon, I promise. Wait for me on the gates, I'll try to be quick." >According to Pinkie, Twilight already knew about this. >So I went to the gates while Pinkie was going to meet Twilight. >Not that I don't trust Pinkie, but I had to follow her to see what would happen. >I eventually found them, they were exiting the school to some nearby woods. >I had bad feels about that. >So I followed them. >They stopped, so I hid myself. >"Well Pinkie, why did you call me here?" >"Why did you kiss Anon?" >"Oh? Because I really love Anon!" >"Don't feed me that kind of shit! WHY DO YOU WANT HIM?!" >I never saw Pinkie that mad. >"But Pinkie, I'm being honest!" >"Don't call me Pinkie EVER AGAIN!" >Twilight got close to Pinkie's ear and whispered a few words. >I couldn't figure much of it. >From what she said, I could only understand "Anon doesn't deserve to be friends with a killer slut in pink." >Then she laughed. >And Pinkie snapped. >The next thing I saw was horrifying, but it was so fast I couldn't see it at all. >Pinkie stabbed Twilight in her stomach. >"Why did you came back? Why?! Do you want to haunt me?! You should be dead! You shouldn't remain in this world!!" >"So you... Want to kill me again?" >I had no words to describe what I saw. >"Does Anon know... The whole story?" >What did she mean with "The whole story?" >"Goodbye Pinkie... See you in hell..." >And so Twilight fell in the cold snow, dead. >She had a red deathbed. >But it wasn't over. >Pinkie came to the place where I was hiding. >I was scared. >I was scared she would kill me next. >No, Pinkie was not a mindless killer. >She had to have a reason. >Then she broke the silence. >"I'm sorry Anon... I... I didn't want to do this..." >She broke down in tears. "Pinkie... It's ok. I promised I would stay by your side forever." >"R... Really Anon?" "Really." >I hugged her. >But something still felt off in all of this. >Wasn't Twilight supposed to be dead? >"Can... Can we go to your home Anon?" "Sure Pinkie... Let's go." >I helped her standing up. >"Hey Anon..." "What?" >"Do... Do you love me?" >So I gave her the only answer possible. >We shared a kiss. >And it felt so right. >"Anon..." "What?" >"Can you hold my hand?" "Yeah... I can..." >And so we walked towards the sunset with my hand entwined in her delicate hand bathed in crimson. >And it couldn't feel more right. >THE END!         >"Looks like she still doesn't believe in Magic..."
