>Ugh. >Once again, you're waking up. >But this time, the scenery is different. >You're lying on your back, looking up at the ceiling. >There's some plain ceiling tiles above you, tinged with turquoise. >Light fabric curtains lie your left. >Below you, are a few soft and thick slabs, almost like miniature matresses. >The light in the room was a deep yellow, rays of light flowing from the window. >It was certainly sunset, the sky a strong shade of orange. >You leaned forward, to inspect your surroundings beyond your curtains. >"Are you awake?" you hear a familiar voice say from behind the shade. "Uh, yeah, I guess. Who are you?" You say reaching out to move the drapery out of the way. >They become engulfed in a translucent pink aura and quickly move out of your way. >You jump back, for fear of whatever caused the curtains to move by themselves coming for you. >"Don't be frightened, I'm not going to hurt you..." >It was the purple pony from earlier. >This time, however, you notice a horn sticking out of her... mane... >The same aura from before was around her horn, slowly fading away. "Alright. Do you mind telling me where I am?" >"Of course! You're in Ponyville Hospital!" >Hospital: Good. >Ponyville: What the actual fuck. "Ok, I'm glad I'm not bleeding out in the forest, but-" >"Well, of course! I couldn't just leave you there," the pony said, a light smile on her face. "Yes, thank you for that. As I was saying, I-" >"Could you tell me about what a 'human' was? I'm REALLY interested in finding that out!" She cheerfully exclaims, as a notebook glowing with the same aura as before floated over to her. "I'd be happy to, if you'd stop interrupting me." >That definitely got her. >She lowered the notepad, sat down, and was ready to listen. >I like her manners. "Ok, so I was just wondering if I was hearing you correctly earlier when you said PONYVILLE." You say, leaning towards her as you put emphasis on that last word. >"You sound so... suprised. You've never heard of Ponyville before? You were just outside of it when I found you, or rather, you found me." She said, looking up at you gratefully. >Dem eyes. >You haven't seen something so cute since... >Shit. You can't remember anything. >How the fuck did you even get here? "So, what is this place? I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that there's a magical talking pony here." You say, pointing at her. >"Am I the first pony you've ever seen before, or something? All the ponies I know talk," She replies, as a floating pencil writes in her levitating notebook. >Shit, does everything float around here? "The first pony I've ever seen that's neon-coloured, can talk, and has a horn." You mention in a matter-of-fact way, with just a hint of sarcasm. >You suddenly realize that she's implying that there are other talking ponies. >Other talking ponies HERE. >In a place called Ponyville. >High on bloodloss would be your first guess, had it not been for the fact that you're sure you weren't bleeding when you got here. >Speaking of which, why were you bleeding? >"You act like that's so rare. There are lots of unicorn ponies, just like me, who I know who love a good conversation." She says, drawing you out of your internal thoughts while the pencil begins scribbling madly on the notebook. >Holy shit wat >Unicorn >That probably has something to do with all the floating shit you've seen since you got here. "You're a unicorn? Like, a mythical, magical, incredibly rare unicorn?" You say, as you try to keep yourself composed. >Fuck it, this is a magical unicorn pony land. >Go bananas. >"Mythical? Rare? You certainly aren't from around here." She says, scribbling furiously in her notebook at this point. "Yeah, I was going to say the same." You reply, with a look of 'no shit' on your face. "So, is this place on the East Coast? West Coast?" >"I don't get what you're saying... The ocean is very far away from here." >God damn it. "You know, Eastern US? Western US? Or am I in another country?" >"What's a 'US'? I'd love to know more about it!" She says, flipping to a new page of her notebook. >Oh god. >There's no way this is right. >How can she not even what the US is? >This isn't a third world civilization hidden away somewhere. >I'm in a goddamned hospital. "What country is this?" You ask, all hints of sarcasm gone from your voice. >She's stopped writing at this point, and looks like she's really confused. "Equestria..." Twilight replies, scratching her head with the pencil. "What's the name of this planet?" You ask, your face filled with curiosity and fear. >"Are you serious? It's Earth!" She exclaims, now writing pages and pages of notes. >Aw shit you done fucked up. "How big is this country, exactly?" "The biggest country in the world, of course!" >Oh shit. >Oooooooohhhhhhhhhh shit. >You're now in some different... universe. >And apparently, it's filled with talking horses. >And you're the only human. >Well, shit. >You try to think back to Earth and what it was like. >Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. >Amnesia pls go >pls >"I never got your name, would you mind filling me in on that bit of information?" She says, jarring you from your little mental breakdown. "It's... It's Anon." You respond, while you're still trying to get used to the idea of being an alien on a planet of aliens. >Cute aliens. >But still aliens. >"My name's Twilight. Twilight Sparkle." She said, in a warm and happy tone. "Looks like we both have weird names." You say. >Comedy helps you relax. >Who wants to think about the fact that they're the alone and without memory? >You both share a small chuckle. >"Are you ready for a few questions, Anon?" Twilight said, moving closer to you. "I'd love to know all about your species."
