We spent almost the entire day traveling to who knows where.  I was glad packed some water for me, but he said it was no problem. "Besides," he explained, "You won't need much of the stuff in here when we get there." Now normally, I would be glad to hear this, since it usually meant we would be stopping at a hotel or something, but something felt off ever since we left. He had that same attitude when I thanked him for packing food. Now that I think about it, he said that when I asked if I needed to pack anything. Just what the hell was this dragon planning? "We're here!" As much as those words should have eased my mind, all they did was raise more questions when I saw our destination. It was a tall mountain with some creatures flying in and out of it. Wait, were those dragons? I thought Spike was the only o- Oh fuck it, they're outcasts, I'm an outcast, it all works out, right? The claws gripping on to my shoulders told me otherwise. I couldn't even tell that they were coming. One minute, I'm looking up and admiring the dragons flying around; the next, I'm flailing my arms, screaming and trying hard to keep looking up. I catch sight of my captor as I'm freaking out: a red dragon. He seemed a little older than Spike, more like a teenage dragon or something. Shit, where's Spike? I try to look down, but manage to only look forward to see that this beast was flying me over to the volcano ahead. When my brain says "Don't look down", it really means it. But still what abo- Oh there he is. I see a more slender slender dragon holding him in his claws. Or is it a she? Hard to tell with the white and pink color scheme. "So, Spike, this the 'human' you told us about?" the creature holding me snarls. "Looks a little scrawny to me, but he'll do." Wait a minute, what did Spike have to do with these dragons? Was this his idea of guys' night out? "Spike, what's going on?" I yell out to him, but Spike just stays there dangling in the guy's/girl's claws. "How about we drop you off here first before you start breaking up? Shouldn't be too high up." Wait, drop? He really wasn't going to let me fall, was he? His claws seem to be the only thing answering my questions today. He starts to get farther away from me as I flail my limbs uselessy. Chills go up my spine as I look below and spot the landing zone, or more appropriately, the splatter zone. Shit, a volcano? What an asshole. Now I won't be going home, I won't see my parents again, I won't see my dog again, and I won't see my girlfriend again. I really do hope she doesn't go off with another dude, because that would WHAM Fuck, my ribs, I think I just broke a few of them. I was gonna be feeling that one in the morning. Those jerks are gonna get it. I slowly get up from the fall and see the two dragons float down. The red one smirks as he sees me recover. "Well this human seems to be pretty tough. Just like you told us, Spike." Again, what does Spike have to do with all of this? "Look at the little runt, he can't make heads or tails of this." The world got flipped upside down as I saw a purple dragon holding my legs in his claws. The red one goes up to me. "Lemme drop something on you, human." "The name is Derek, you ass wipe." I reply, tired of his constant insults. "Mine's Garble, but you don't see me getting in a fit over that." He shakes his head. "Not my point. The point here is that this squirt over here..." he points to Spike "Told us all about you and how you spend all this time with him. Said it's why he never comes by here anymore." I look and see Spike turned away. Did he really do that? Wanting to know my fate, I decide to ask them one lingering question. "What are you going to do with me?" Garble sighs. "The thing is, we can't seem to get any chicks." Gee, I wonder why. I feel like being a smartass to him, but something tells me he won't hesitate to drop me a hundred feet again if I do. "We've tried everything, still no girls. We lost hope until we came across the one weird creature who gave us this." He then pulls out a small amethyst, which seems to be glowing. "One bizarre creature, called himself the 'king of chaos' or something." I decide to ask a final question. "So where do I come in to all of this?" He sneers at me before he continues explaining. "According to him, whoever eats the gem gets turned into a female dragon." Oh, you're fucking shitting me. "So, human, Derek, whatever." I'm dropped on my back by the jerk that grabbed me. "Let me ask you a question." He stomps me on my stomach. I can't help but keep my mouth open as I cry out in pain. Garble then drops the crystal into my throat. "How much are you looking forward to getting it on with number one alpha dragon?" I take my last gulp of air as a human as the crystal goes into my belly.
