>You share a house with Echo
>You both have your own rooms
>You've changed your sleep schedule so that now you sleep during the day
>During the night you hang out with Echo and several other of the bat ponies
>For the past couple of days though Echo has been sneaking out after she thought you'd fallen asleep
>You have no idea what she could possibly be doing
>Curiosity had gotten the better of you and today you plan on following her
>After wishing her a good day, you crawl into bed with your clothes on and pull the blankets up over you
>You close your eyes and wait
>After about an hour you can hear her hooves tapping against the wooden floor as she sneaks out
>You wait for the sounds of the door closing before throwing the covers off of you
>You run to the front window and look out
>Shit, she's already vanished
>You hurriedly put your shoes on and go out the front door
>Just as come out the door you notice what looks like Echo's tail turning the corner just down the road
>She's heading out to the market?
>Strange
>you jog down to the end of the road and press your back against the house though
>Carefully you peer around the corner but she's managed to vanish again
>Maybe she ducked into one of the shops?

>For the past couple of days you've heard Anon sneaking out of the house
>Curious, you decided that today you would follow him to see what he's up to
>But you're smart
>Instead of waiting for him to head out you decide to head out before him so you can get a good vantage point
>After wishing Anon a good day you head to your room and wait
>An hour later you sneak out the front door and quickly fly up to the roof of your house
>You don't even have to wait that long before Anon comes out
>You duck down to make sure he doesn't spot you
>Anon looks both ways down the road before jogging to the end of the street
>You watch as he presses himself against a building and peeks around the corner
>Anon sure is acting strange
>You wonder if he's noticed that everyone is staring at him
>Suddenly Anon runs around the corner
>You fly up from your roof and glide over to the shop Anon had been sneaking around
>You watch as he ducks into a clothing store
>You're fairly certain that Anon doesn't get any of his clothes made there
>You decide that you might be able to get a better view into the clothing store from the store across the street

>You had run into some clothing shop after seeing what looked like Echo's mane poking up from behind one of the racks
>Once you'd ducked inside though you found that it was just some other pony
>Seems like you've already lost Echo again
>Maybe you're not too great at tracking ponies
>Stepping out the clothing store you see Echo entering the store across the street
>You're 100% sure it's her this time
>You saw her cutie mark
>Quickly you take cover on one of the street vendor's stands and peer over the edge of the table, trying to get a good view into the store
>You feel a tap on your shoulder
>"Um... Sir?  Anon?  Er... What are you doing?"
>You look up at the earth pony responsible for running the stand
"Shhh.. please just, don't mind me."
>"Sir... You can't be behind the stand.  Please-"
"Shhhh!"
 
>Be Echo
>You wished you could hear what was going on but it seemed Anon was having some sort of secret conversation with one of the vendors
>You couldn't leave the shop now since Anon would surely notice you
>The street vendor was now pushing Anon out from behind the stand as Anon flailed wildly about
>What the hell was he doing?
>You feel someone tap on your shoulder
>"M'am, if you're not going to buy anything then I'll have to ask you to leave."
"Oh.. uh.. I was just looking at... this."
>You pick up whatever object was closest to you without looking
"So uh, how much?"
>The shopkeeper does not look amused
>"M'am, items in the window are for display purposes only."
"Oh..."
>"And that's the open sign for the store."

>You've just been kicked out of your hiding spot
>Thankfully, Echo seems to be distracted by some conversation she's having the shopkeeper
>You want to know what she's talking about but you can't risk going through the front door
>Thinking quickly you sprint for the alley way to see if the shop might have a back door
 
>Be Echo
>You manage to convince the shopkeeper that you're interested in buying something so that she'll leave you only
>Just as you turn back to look out the window you see Anon running straight for the store
>YOU'VE BEEN SPOTTED
>ABORT MISSION
>Panicking you scramble to the back of the shop and burst out of the backdoor
>You jump, intending to fly up to a rooftop but instead you slam headfirst into something
>Anon makes a funny grunting sound as he topples over
>Before he has a chance to yell at you, you quickly point a hoof at him
"ANON!  What do you think you're doing sneaking out?"
>Anon looks up at you, stunned for a moment before he jumps to his feet and begins brushing himself off
>"Um... er... I.. I wasn't sneaking out.  I was just uh... going for a snack... What.. What do you think YOU'RE doing out at this time of day?"
"Oh uh... I was... getting a snack too..."
>You both narrow your eyes at each other
>Tomorrow morning you'd follow him again.  This time you'd find out what he was up to for sure
>Unbeknownst to you, Anon had decided to try following you again tomorrow morning.
>Together you both head over to a fruit stand and get something to eat

>Anon never locks his door
>You like to sneak around the house and rummage through his things while he sleeps
>Today though, for some reason, he's not here
