>Atop the back of the giant pony, you struggle to reason with her. >”How's the view from there?” “Fine, but is this necessary?” >”Whatcha mean?  Isn't this how you humans ride horses in your world?” “Well... yeah, but isn't this a bit awkward?” >”Pfft, you let me worry about that, you just relax your little head.” >You knew that riding horses bareback would be torture on your crotch. >But this pony is especially soft, especially with her recent meal. >The extra padding gently caresses your lower body. >Each step she takes rocks you in and out of her warm girth. >It takes a bit of willpower to prevent yourself from mindlessly grinding yourself against her cushy body. >The seat of your pants strain at the friction between you and the soft, amber coat. >You're better than that though. >A snarky voice from your companion threatens to throw off your concentration. >”Don't think I don't feel that back there, it's kinda cute actually.” >Your ears burn in embarrassment as Feather turns her head back to you with the dumbest grin plastered on her face, her eyes seemingly sizing you up through the tinted lenses. >”I'm a bit too big for you Ace, but if you want to grab a flab, you can rub one out.” >Sitting completely stunned, she raises the stakes while making gestures with her fore hoof. >”Come on, right on the coat!  No one would know...” >Throwing your hands in the air, you shake your head to stave away her forwardness. “No way!  I barely know you and-” >”Hmm?” >She looks to you with puckered lips, her tongue quickly slithering out between them. >Unable to finish your sentence, her head creeps towards you, her humid breath on you as she whispers. >”Perhaps you'd like a more personal service.” >Her seductive facade is quickly broken by a snort from her nostrils as she turns her head back forward to laugh. >You shake the jitters from your body, seeing that your pegasus has finally stopped her advances into your pants. >She blurts out between chuckles. >”You're really way too easy to tease, couldn't ask for a better human to find.” >Pouting to save what little dignity this pony has left you with, you ask her. “Fine, where are we going anyway?  We've been passing empty homes for quite a while now.” >Feather's head whips around, quickly scanning the area. >Confidence in her voice, she lays down the plans to you. >”Well, first objective is to get back to my home, but I see faint traces of activity over yonder... so I want to make sure that place is a lost cause before hopping out of your world.” >Continuing her gentle trot down the unkempt concrete, you regain your sanity for a brief moment. >The mare gives you another curve ball as she opens her mouth to speak. >”I'm serious about earlier.  Read that some of you humans need some relief often, so bone away.” >You stutter at her bluntness as you feel the blood rush to your cheeks. “N-n-no!  I d-don't need to!” >With a seemingly disappointed sigh, you feel her shoulders roll into a small shrug. >”Alright Ace, offer is there though.” >You flop onto her back, groaning as you sense Feather enjoyment in provoking you. >Digging your face into her coat, you let the minutes pass by in silence as she travels to her destination. >Her heartbeat steady and steps even, you drift in and out of consciousness as you ride the plump pony. >The short hairs of her body brush against your bare skin, silky and smooth. >Cyan wisps of hair shade you from the sun above, keeping you cool as you're warmed by her body. >Time flies by as your silent time with her is cut short. >You startle awake as you feel Feather stop in her tracks, heartbeat increasing in pace. >Sitting up, her wings flare up, seemingly shielding you from what lies ahead. >Her voice commands you in a hushed tone. >”Hop off to my right, there are two humans stumbling around the block soon.” >Following orders, you step onto the sidewalk, peeking out from behind Feather's flank to see the assailants arrive. >The mare's right hoof quickly searches through her saddlebags, a jingling of coins coming from inside. >The echo of footsteps slowly close in on you two as shadows round the corner of the empty building ahead. >Feather crouches close to the ground, bits in hand as two scruffy humans run out. >Armed with firearms, you see them quickly turn their weapons on your protective pony as you keep yourself flat to the mare's hind leg. >A few shots rattle through the streets as some stray bullets find their mark, Feather cursing under her breath. >”Celest-hell that stings!” >At the corner of your eye, you see her hoof throw the bits low in the air, punch-kicking them with her free fore hoof. >Cutting through the air, they fly true as they nail both humans in the head, short grunts coming from either one as they collapse onto the ground. >You pop from behind the pony, hearing her breath ragged. >About to ask how she's doing, you cut yourself off. “Feather, are you-” >Bullet wounds in her leg ooze a bit of blood, trailing onto the floor below. >The coat around her wounds take on a brownish quality, dull and flat compared to the rest of her brilliant body. >On her goggles, the left lens was cracked, but not shattered. >Shivering with the foreign feeling of excruciating pain, Feather's massive body collapses onto the ground as she takes slow, deep breaths. >You hop to her side as she makes a quick demand of you. >”Water... pour it on now.” >Flipping open the bag, you take the oversized bottle and snap the top open. >You tilt it over her injured leg as she nods in confirmation. >As the liquid spills forth onto her wounds, you spark conversation with her to make sure she isn't in shock. “You okay?  Thought our weapons didn't affect you!” >She shakes her head as you see her wounds slowly close up, dented bullets rising from the holes and carried away by the stream of glittering water. >”Normally no, but check their guns.  They were packing something else, I'll dress my wounds.” >With a nod, you hand her the bottle as you run over to inspect the unconscious bodies. >Both out like a light, you check their guns. >A pistol and an automatic rifle. >Unable to make heads or tails of what kind of guns they are, you see that they have been tampered with. >Tied near the clip of each gun was some sort of foreign object, both of differing sizes. >Still unsure, you grab both weapons and show them to Feather as she wraps her leg in a white cloth. >She grits her teeth at the sight of the curious invention. >”Clutzy unicorns and their magic junk... looks like that 'human ingenuity' that we've been warned about is starting.” “What do you mean?” >She rolls her eyes as she tries to stand, her injured leg shaking under her weight. >Limping over to the unconscious humans, she undresses them as she explains. >”No clue how your people figured it, but they've got chaos magic leaking out of these magic doo-hickeys, and somehow fused it with your world's firearms.” >She shakes her head as pain shoots up her leg trying to strip the hostiles. >”I doubt they even know how it works, but if my goggles are reading this right, we may have walked into some bad territory.” >You walk to her side as she preps her raw meals, one male and one female, both scrawny from war. >Feather hisses as a drop of sweat runs down her cheek. >She loudly whispers to you as she surveys the neighborhood around you two. >”I... I think I messed up.  Should've just headed back home... instead I got a bum leg in the middle of dangerous humans...” >In the pile of clothes, a scratchy voice can be heard, muffled through the clothes. >Feather freezes at the sound, as you check the pile. >Searching for a moment gives you a two-way radio, a voice trying to reach out to the unconscious couple. >”...Bravo... status report... quadrant 5... safe?” >You gently place the device back onto the pile, not wanting to give away what happened immediately. >The mare's teeth clatter as she parses the situation, scooping up the limp bodies in her good leg. >She jams both of them hastily into her mouth, the mess of limbs and body parts poking through her cheeks. >She tilts her head back down the path as she greedily gulps down the mouthful. >The cluster of hands, heads and feet press through her throat, the evidence traveling into the digestive pit of the pony. >Coughing at the rushed meal, she nudges you with her nose. >”Come on, we've got to high-tail it, they're gonna come searching for their troops.” >Breaking into a sprint, Feather keeps with your pace. >Between breaths, you ask the pegasus. “Why did you eat them though, we could've left them there and there would be no issue!” >Expressing her annoyance with a groan, she looks to you. >”Look, they obviously have some perimeter set up and they're not getting out of it.  I have plenty of freedom to eat-and-run as long as we get out of their territory.” >You shake your head as you retort. ”Well, what are we gonna do now?” >Still with a subtle limp, she motions with her snout ahead. >”Fortunately for us, there are plenty of abandoned homes and stuff for us to wait for my leg to heal up.  Now, help me find a prime place to stay.” >Sighing, you see the sun still hanging in the sky, the afternoon just beginning. >Though Feather talks big, you see her face falter a bit, almost desperate for a place to stay. >Not familiar with her having a vulnerable side, you point out a familiar house from the neighborhood. “There, we're staying there, okay?” >With a thin smile, Feather nods. >”Alright Ace, following your lead.”
