"Twilight left for Ponyville, a nearby town where she lives.  She seemed a bit crestfallen at leaving her mentor, but she had business to attend to at home.  It's actually good timing; Celestia wants to work on getting me running properly and eventually flying.  I'm so excited for flying.  Humans have always dreamt about it, but now I get to live it!  But first I have to be able to run without looking like a complete retard.   Pony appendages aren't like humans at all.  My arms- or forelegs, as it were- are similar to human arms in the sense that I have flexible movement with them.  It probably won't be all that important when I learn magic but it's still nice.  The real trouble is my hind legs.  I never thought it would be so awkard for my legs to bend the opposite way.  Not to mention they feel really pudgy compared to my long human legs.  My center of balance is completely off and I have to concentrate just to walk, but it's getting there.   Not really much else to say, considering I spent my whole day just walking and trying to run."   --------------------   >"Alright, let's try the stairs now." I don't know... >You could barely walk straight and she wants you to try the stairs already? >"I believe you can do it." Damn it she knows that smile will get you to do it. Alright...just don't let me tumble back? >"I'll be right behind you. >First step down, no problem. >Second step, uh oh gonna have to use your back legs next >Third step you hit your leg on the first step. >Fourth step you take it slow but get it. >Fifth step you already trip and start falling backwards. Luckily she's there to catch you. >You open your eyes to find that she stopped your descent with her forehooves below you and her head on your chest.  You wonder how strong your blush would be through your green coat. >Apparently very, because she chuckles.  You move to stand up quickly, but the uneven surface just sends you back into her arms. Er, forelegs. >This time she helps you up. "Don't worry, Anon, you'll get it in time." >The smile she is wearing is no longer one of amusement at your misfortune.  It's much warmer, telling you she's willing to be patient and be there to help you up every time you fall.
