PART 2   >A week has passed since your… shower with Rarity. >Can’t say that things went exactly as you planned afterwards. >Things were a little shaky after you and Rarity spent the night together. >She was awfully embarrassed at how she acted. >Over and over, she apologized, swearing to never act that way again. >You learned a lot of new words that day. >Most synonymous with “uncouth.” >You reassured Rarity that you enjoyed it. >But she was beating herself up about it constantly. >You decided to slow it down before things picked up again. >You began to help her out with way more chores around the Boutique. >You even started learning your way around a sewing machine. >You did everything you could to try to ease the tension between you two. >All you wanted was for the relationship to flourish in a positive direction. >Luckily, Rarity wanted the same.   >Even though Rarity was disappointed in herself, she didn’t regret saying that she loved you. >Not at all. >In fact, she managed to find you throughout the day just to whisper it in your ear: >”I love you, Anon, darling…” >Always paired with a quick peck on the cheek. >This was enough to satisfy your need to be close to her. >But you still felt like there was more to do for her. >That’s why you had asked that she take the day off. >Not an easy task, of course. >After an hour of straight disagreement, you managed to convince her that a small break was good for the creative mind. >You also kept telling her that you had a fun day planned for the two of you. >Rarity reluctantly agreed. >The problem afterwards was keeping your plans a secret. >”Anon, tell me! Tell me, tell me, tell me! You are making me close my Boutique! I demand to know what we are going to be doing so that I may dress appropriately!” >It went on for a long time before you just plain told her that she looked beautiful just the way she was. >This was warmly received, as Rarity showered you with more kisses.   >Today was a perfect day. >Sun beaming overhead. >Birds chirping all around. >Freshly cut grass. >A nice gentle breeze. >Your “secret” was going to go better than expected. >You had woken up extra early to make sure everything was in order. >Before you made too much noise, you decided to head upstairs to see if Rarity was still asleep. >You silently sneak upstairs, and arrive at her door. >You quietly push the door open and peer inside. >Rarity is most certainly passed out. >She was snoring softly. >Part of you wants to just go and plop next to her. >Maybe kiss her all over. >But you mustn’t let today be ruined. >You reluctantly close the door and return to the kitchen. >Upon entering the kitchen, you hear a knock on the door. >Right on time. >You open the door quietly. >A gray mailmare with goofy looking eyes was standing there, holding a package for you in her mouth. >”Deriberry fur Anun!” >Her eyes find themselves on your lower half. >She blushes as she puts the package on the ground. >She must have forgotten it was in her mouth…. >You thank her and carry the package inside. >The mailmare waves at you and flies away, almost crashing into a tree. >You quickly rip open the package, revealing a custom-made picnic basket. >Adorned with gems and ribbons, this was sure to get Rarity’s gears turning. >It came complete with a bouquet of white and violet roses. >Rarity was going to love this. >You begin to carefully place your brunch in the basket.   >This brunch was going to be spectacular. >But you couldn’t have done it alone. >Who better to help you than some of Rarity’s closest friends? >Twilight Sparkle helped you prepare a bunch of fruit last night into an intricate salad. >Each piece delicately cut, diced, and layered to perfection. >She even lent you a book on how to truly enjoy picnics. >Twilight nagged you over and over again about no forgetting desert. >No picnic is complete without desert, of course.   >You spent the whole night before baking with Applejack. >The two of you baked a special apple pie, with Rarity’s cutie mark in the crust. >You put in extra cinnamon, a secret favorite of Rarity’s. >Applejack had annoyingly teased you almost the entire time about it. >She honestly just didn’t understand why you were going through all the trouble of doing something nice for such an uptight mare. >She insisted that you find one who wouldn’t mind getting down and dirty once in a while. >Applejack, you don’t know the half of it. >You shrugged it off, remembering that Rarity wanted to keep your exclusivity a secret for the time being.   >You pack all of the delicacies neatly into the picnic basket. >You remember to include utensils, plates, glasses…. >Glasses! >You almost forgot the wine. >Not just any wine of course. >You had saved up your extra bits for weeks to afford a small bottle of Equestria’s most revered wine. >Marque d'Excellence. >Even the name burned holes in your pockets. >But only the best for you sweet Rarity. >You grab the bottle from the freezer and place it at the bottom of the basket. >After you triple check your basket, you head over to the pantry. >At the very top was hidden a present for Rarity. >You were glad no one ever looks up there. >You reach up and pull down a lush purple quilt. >You made it yourself, though your expertise with a showing machine shows. >It was quite rough, and there were crude patches of Rarity’s cutie mark stitched in random locations. >Now that you think of it… maybe you shouldn’t give this to her yet. >It needed some TLC, no doubt. >Before you could put it back, you hear footsteps heading towards the kitchen. >Crap, no time! >You toss the quilt into the basket and close it.   >A loud yawn escapes from the other room. >You jump in front of the basket. >Rarity can’t see this until you are- >”Anon, darling? What are you doing?” >Rarity was giving you a small smile, her mane all frizzled. >Dammit, she is so cute. “Good morning! H-hey, why don’t you go upstairs and get ready for our day together?” >Rarity yawns again. >You know that her getting ready would buy you another hour, two hours tops. >”Of course. I just wanted to make sure you were doing… YAAAAWWNNN… fine…. I’ll be ready shortly!” >You feel the sweat begin to escape the pours on your forehead. >”Oh, and get yourself ready, too. You can’t go out looking like that, sweetie.” >You look down. >You were still in only your boxers. >…. >Rarity blows you a kiss, blushing slightly. >She flips her lovely mane and heads back upstairs. >You wipe the sweat off of your brow. >Close one. >You realize why that gray mailmare was blushing earlier. >You grab the basket and put it in the fridge. >All right, no problems now. >The rest of this day will be smooth and perfect.   >A remarkable 30 minutes later, Rarity is ready for your date. >You managed to get swagged out in 10 minutes, but you thought that you were going to have time to find a new blanket. >No such luck, your crude quilt will have to do. >Rarity was wearing a cute yellow sunhat with a matching scarf. >Her hair was primped and perfect, curling ever so carefully. >You never could find out how she does it…. >She trots up to you, giving you a tight hug. >You quickly return the hug, holding her against your chest. >She sighs deeply. >”I’m really glad that I took the day off. I really wanted to spend time with you, Anon.” >She nuzzles your chest as your heart melts. >You lean down and kiss her on the forehead. “Well… before we can go I need you to do something.” >You rummage around in your pockets and pull out a long blue piece of fabric. “I need to keep the area we go a secret so… I’ll have to blindfold ya.” >Rarity laughs loudly. >”No way, Anon! That color is hideous! Not to mention it clashes with my scarf and…” >You give her puppy dog eyes and hold the fabric up. >Rarity groans. >”Fine! Only… only for you. I hope nop0ny sees us….” >You laugh as you tie the fabric around her eyes. >You wave your hand in front of her to check if she could see. >Nothing. “Great! Now, just trust me. I’ll hold your hoof and lead you to our romantic-“ >”I trust you, darling. Don’t question that. Ever.” >She lays her hoof in your palm, missing it a few times. >Once she has it, she nuzzles it lovingly.   >The trip to the spot was slightly challenging. >Rarity was extremely anxious about what you had planned. >She repeatedly questioned what was happening, what you brought with you. >It was like dealing with…. >Well…. >Pinkie Pie. >The thought of that makes you shudder. >You arrive at the spot safe and sound. >It was exactly as you left it a few days ago. >Secluded, quiet, and, most importantly, clean. “Alright, Rarity. We made it!” >Rarity squees happily and proceeds to untie her blindfold. >You quickly stop her. “Hold on, silly. Let me set everything up first!” >”Of course… my apologies. Calm down, Rarity…” >She takes a few deep breaths. >You take a few minutes and set up your picnic. >Purple blanket and all. >After making sure everything was perfect, you head back over to Rarity. “Ok, are you ready, Rarity?” >Rarity nods furiously, causing her hat to fall off. >”Yes, yes, yes! Show me! Show me!!” >You untie her blindfold and let her gaze upon your hard work. >Rarity’s eyes widen. >”Oh my… Anon! What is all of this?” >You feel yourself begin to sweat, your heart racing. >Before you can apologize for anything being out of whack, Rarity throws her body into yours in a tight bear hug.   >Rarity scans the entire area, her eyes incredibly wide. >You had led her into a secluded part of the Everfree Forest, by a large lake. >The vegetation everywhere gave it a serene feel, and the water was incredibly gentle. >The bright sun was beaming overhead, giving the dew-covered grass a brilliant sheen. >You had set up your picnic right at the foot of the lake, surrounded by flowers that you had planted a few days ago. >You kept glancing at the picnic, and back at Rarity, trying to get a reaction out of her. >She just stood there speechless. >You gulp loudly. >Not good, Anon… not good…. >You begin to apologize to Rarity, stammering badly. >Before you get too far, Rarity trots over to the picnic. >You slowly follow her. >She stares at the whole scene for a bit. >You can’t wait for a response anymore. “W-well? What do ya think, R-rarity?” >You catch Rarity rub her face and sniffle. >Good one, you made her cry, Anon. >”Anon… did you really… do all of….” >You laugh nervously. “Well, I had a bit of help. But… yeah, this is done by me, and it’s all for you.” >Rarity faces you, her face scrunched. >Her eyes, still wide, were watery. >Her face, beet red. >She giggles, before rubbing her eyes again. >”I just… I just can’t believe this, darling….” >You walk up to her, and wrap an arm around her. >She gazes into your eyes. >You’ve never felt more affectionate of her than this moment. >”This is beautiful…. All of it… Oh, Anon!” >She buries her head into your chest and begins to sob. >”I don’t deserve any of this! Why? Why are you just so… so kind to me?”   >You pull her away from your chest. >Rarity’s head droops down, unable to look at you. >She was still crying quietly. “Hey… look at me.” >She slowly lifts her head up. >She sniffles, and her eyes meet yours. >You rub her face with your shirt. “Don’t cry. I did this because you mean the world to me, and so much more.” >Rarity’s face becomes a bit redder. >Her frown slowly turns into a smile. >She nuzzles your face lovingly. >”Anon, this is just too much….” >She wraps her arms around you. >”I love you! I love you so so much, darling. You are too good to me….” >You pick her up and carry her over to your picnic. >You set her down, and prepare a plate of fruit for her. >You smile the entire time as Rarity’s continues to insist that she repay you. “You can repay me by having a good time and stop asking to repay me!” >You kiss her lips gently and hand her a plate. >You grab two wine glasses and the Marque d'Excellence. >Rarity just about drops her plate when she sees what you are pouring. >”Anon! How could you possibly afford… I can’t… no, I just can’t-“ >You hand her a half full glass of the chilled wine. >She takes it, although reluctantly. “Just enjoy it, Rarity. You deserve this.” >Rarity smiles at you. >You take your glass and clank it against hers. >You both take a sip of the expensive wine. >Her eyes widen. >”It’s quite delicious….” >You nod in agreement. >You take a piece of fruit off of the plate. “Why don’t you try some of this?” >”Only if you feed it to me….” >Rarity giggles and opens her mouth. >You place the fruit gently on her tongue. >Rarity closes her mouth, taking your fingers with her. >She sucks on your fingers before releasing your hand. >She gives a sly look while chewing on the fruit. >”Delicious. And the fruit isn’t half bad either…”   >The two of you eat, talking merrily, and being excessively flirtly. >It’s almost as if she was holding all of this attention for you in. >You couldn’t care less. >This was amazing. >Everything. >It was completely perfect. >Though… the quilt still needed work. >Rarity was completely pleased with it. >She said it was the most comfortable blanket anyone has ever made her. >Good enough for you. >You finish the fruit off quickly, washing it down with the wine. >Rarity was absolutely smitten. >”Anon. This has been the best meal I’ve ever had…” “Good thing it’s not over yet!” >You begin to cut up the pie into small pieces. >As you are cutting, you catch Rarity eyeing you from top to bottom. >Her eyes just taking you all in. >You had never seen her like this. >She was so attentive and affectionate. >You can’t imagine being without her anymore. >It was too difficult to process, too unreal. >You knew that she was here to stay. >And you were as well.   >You feed Rarity a piece of the pie. >She closes her eyes and moans softly as she swallows it. >”This is the best pie I’ve ever had. Quite frankly, I don’t want pie anymore unless you make it, dear.” >You laugh, reminding her that your culinary skills were greatly exaggerated. >Rarity shakes her head. >”Anon… can I ask you something?” >You nod as you finish your slice of pie. >Rarity slowly stands up and begins to push the dishes to the side. >You eye her cautiously. >She didn’t have THAT much wine. >You wipe off your mouth and push your plate over. >Rarity falls on top of you, her lips going straight for yours. >She gently nibbles on your bottom lip. >You playfully respond with your tongue in her mouth. >She holds you down, kissing you more and more passionately. >You run your fingers through her mane, eliciting a pleasant moan from your white beauty. >She pulls her lips away from you, a trail of saliva following her. >”I forgot what I was going to ask you…” >You laugh and play with her hair. >Rarity looks at you endearingly. “Whenever you remember, just ask me. I’m all ears.” >Rarity nuzzles your face. >”Ooh! I have a good question…” “Let me have it.”   >She rolls off of you, lying by your side. >”Would you like to take a nap?” >You nod and kiss her forehead. >Rarity rolls over, her rear perking up slightly. >You instinctively turn on your side, holding her from behind. >She pushes her body into yours. >Her flank rubbing all over your. >You sigh deeply. >Too perfect. >”Oh, Anon, dear? One more thing.” >You nibble her ear. “What is it?” >She magically moves your hand around her stomach. >You hold her gently, causing her to sigh. >”Promise me that you’ll always keep me safe.” >You kiss her once more one her neck. “Of course. Don’t even worry about that for a second.” >You kiss her one last time. >Rarity giggles happily as you hold her closely. >”I love you, Anon. I love you so much.” >After a few minutes, you hear her snore softly. >Her stomach rises up and down slowly. >Her body feels so relaxed. >Once you were sure that your queen was safe and sound, you closed your eyes. >The gentle breezes carry you off into a peaceful sleep, with your Rarity close by. >You couldn’t ask for anything better.   ~
