Emerald Star is a pegasus living in Ponyville, living by herself in a house just outside of town. One day, she found a strange object while traversing the area outside of the Everfree Forest. It was a weird rectangular box with pictures and markings all over it. She took it back to her house, and opened it up. It was a computer, something she always wanted since she was a little filly. But this one was different, it wasn't like any pc she had heard of. What kind of a computer company was "Cyberpower" anyway? She set it up, and when it came to life, the screen that came with the pc lit up. On it were many different programs, ones that she thought were weird. What even was a "Firefox" or a "Google Chrome?" She messed around with many things, Searched around the new place she found called the "Internet" (Don't ask me how the internet exists in Equestria), and learned that there existed an entire world of creatures called "Humans," and they liked playing videos games just like her. Then she learned of "steam," a magical program that can connect her to these humans and let her play these games of theirs. She quickly installed it, and bought a few games for herself (with a paypal account she hacked and stole), and quickly made friends with many other people. They did not believe her when she said she was a pony, but she posted pictures with proof of her being. To this day, she still hangs out with her friends and plays games with them, no other pony knowing of the magical device inside her bedroom. (it even came with a headset!)
