"I miss you."   >"I-I miss you too, Anon. You make me feel warm and fuzzy inside a-and... I'm happy to know I make you feel the same way." >Fluttershy looks away from you, as her hair moves over her face. >Her eyes connect with the ground, but her face is lit up in a rosy red blush as she smiles. >Her ears flatten a little as she slowly brings her gaze back up to you. >"U-uhm, Anon? Can I ask you a question?" >"W-well. Uhm. It's memorial day in Equestria. I was going to go home to Cloudsdale in order to visit my Dad. U-uhm. W-would you mind going with me? T-that is, uhm, if you don't mind." >She blushes and looks away. >"It's hard to go alone sometimes, but I want to pay my respects." "No, not at all. I don't mind." >"Oh, okay. I under-" >Her face lights up and her cyan pools rise to meet yours. >"Wait, really? You mean it? Oh, thank you, Anon! Let me just grab my luggage and I can meet you at the station. They can take us to a hot air balloon that will take us to Cloudsdale. Why don't you go home and pack, and then we met there? Maybe in an hour?" >She beams at you as she stands on the porch of your home, you lean against your doorframe casually with a wide smile. "Sure thing. See you there," you reply. >The yellow pegasus smiles, turns and flutters away. >"See you there!" >You close the front door and turn into your home. >With a sigh, you wonder how much you should pack. >She never exactly said how long you would be staying. >On the other hand, how much weight could a hot air balloon take? >It would probably be a good to pack light. >Heading up the stairs to your bedroom ,you shed your t-shirt and toss it to your dirty clothes hamper while taking off your shoes and socks. >If your last trip to Cloudsdale was any indication, you will need to pack warmly. >But first, a shower. >You should look your best for this. >It's only respectful. >Tearing off the rest of your clothes, you lay on your bed, naked, staring at the ceiling. >Well, Fluttershy likes you and you like her too. >Now, the two of you are doing this together. >Is this a test? >Is this a date? >Who knows? >Either way, however you handle this... might decide the fate of what could happen. >Shaking your head, you rise to your feet. >You can't get your hopes up. >Moving to the bathroom, you turn on the water and stare at yourself in the mirror. >You shaved this morning, but the five-o-clock shadow is strong. >It's probably fine. >Grabbing some mouthwash, you rinse out your mouth as you hop into the shower and begin to lather shampoo into your hair. >It was kinda weird hearing Fluttershy talk about her parents completely out of the blue. >Why could that be? >Are you stepping into bad territory? >Maybe... maybe you can ask Twilight. >You will need to stop at her place to get enchanted with the cloud walking spell anyway. >Rubbing soap on your body, you clean your chest and work down until you meet your closest friend. >Hhhmmm.... >Aw hell with it.   >Fifteen minutes later, the water hitting your back is cold, but you lean against the shower wall with a sigh. >That's much better. >The white, soapy suds mixes with sweat and other collected bodily fluids and flows down the drain. >Rising to your feet, you step outside of the shower and grab a towel. >Hey, we have time. >Let's cook something a little nice. >Getting out a few eggs and the milk, you toss a pan on the stove and get ready to cook yourself a meal. >You check the clock, and you got 45 minutes left. >That should be plenty of time, barring some sort of crazy accident. >Grabbing a bowl, a plate, you pull the box of cereal and look over it carefully. >It was a cinnamon-sugar flavored wheat cereal that was one of the best that Equestria had to offer. >As much as you ate it, there was one thing that you just couldn't figure out. >Why did the little ones like it so much? >It just wasn't anything special. >Oh well. >Pouring it into a bowl with a dash of milk, you can heat the pan sizzle, signaling it's ready for some eggs. >Cracking the eggs into the pan, the clear-white egg proteins turn white to the heat's touch. >OOH! >You know what would make this? >Toast. >Running to your cupboard, you check for some bread, but it looks like you are fresh out. >Damn. >Oh well. >Shoving a spoon into your cereal, you take a bite before returning to the rest of your meal. >You carefully season the eggs before flipping them. >Taking a few more bites of food, you begin to wonder what clothes you should pack. >Would a suit be too much? >Probably. >But, a hoodie doesn't seem right. >Maybe you could just take a nice jacket and wear some jeans. >Casual, but not -too- casual. >Then, maybe an extra change of clothes, just in case. >Plating the eggs, you attack them with a fork and knife, feeling a little guilty for using this much time for a meal. >Once you finish the cereal, you slurp the milk and place the dishes in the sink. >Those can be dealt with later. >Checking the clock, you have a half hour to get to Twilights, then the station as well as pack. >You head upstairs to your room and ditch your towel. >Actually. >You know what? >Fuck it. >Ponies don't wear clothes. >You don't have to either. >The next stop, is to go to Twilight's. >You step outside your home and immediately feel a breeze flow through your legs. >Awww yisss. >That's the stuff. >You stride forward with pride and confidence. as you make your way into town. >A few ponies immediately stop what they're doing and simply stare as you walk by. >You hum a happy tune as you stride forward. >That's right. >Take it allll in. >Welcome to the museum of masculinity. >Look, but don't touch. >You walk past Applejack's apple stall. >The apple family happily sells apples. "Heya gang!" >Applejack looks up with a smile, but gasps loudly. >Applebloom also looks up at you, but Applejack swiftly covers her eyes with her hooves. >Granny smith whistles out a cat-call and Big Macintosh stares, drool slowly dribbling out of the left side of his mouth. >A smile curls at the edges of your lips. >Dat's right. >You approach Twilight's Castle and knock loudly on the doors, before letting yourself in. >"I'm coming!" Twilight's familiar voice echoes throughout the castle halls. "It's me!" you call back. >"Oh!" she replies, entering the entrance hall, hovering a book in front of her face. "Hey Anon, I've been just entranced in this book today. What can I do for you?" >She closes the book and looks at you with a smile. >The smile quickly fades when she looks at you. >Her eyes move down. >A blush covers her face and she covers her mouth with her book. >"U-uhm. W-what did you need? W-why aren't you wearing clothes?" she asks. "Well, Fluttershy asked me on a trip with her to Cloudsdale. I was hoping you could give me that enchantment that let's me walk on clouds." >She stares at you. >You stare at her. "What?" >"Why are you naked?" she asks. "Fluttershy asked you on a date, and you are here. Naked. that doesn't..." >Her mind breaks, looking away from you and trying to keep her eyes above your waist. >"Why?" "Well, I dunno. I figured I'd dress up for the occasion." >She stares at you. "You know, I'd wear my suit." >She stares at you. "My birthday suit." >"Anon, if you take my friend out on a date without wearing clothes, I will strangle you." >With a flash of purple from Twilight's horn, you feel the breeze suddenly disappear. >You look down to find yourself newly fitting clothes. >You wear a blue, well fitting button down starch shirt with a white undershirt and a pair of black slacks with black dress shoes. "How did you-" >"Never mind that," she interrupts. "Why did Fluttershy ask you to Cloudsdale?" "Well, she wanted me to help pay respects to her Dad... since it's memorial day." >Twilight's eyes widen and she puts a hoof to her mouth, looking away from her. "Is... that bad?" >"No! No. Not at all. Uhm. Yes, you'll need the enchantment." >With another bright flash of purple, your feet feel as if they were standing on pillows. "Oh. Cool." >"That should last 24 hours," she says. "Thanks, Twilight," you say with a smile. "And thanks for the clothes too. I guess I just thought... since most of you wear clothe-" >"Just... stop," Twilight says, placing a hoof to her forehead. "I need to... lie down." "Alright then, I'll see you later. Take it easy, Twi." >"See ya, Anon." >She mutters some words under her breath as you walk outside of her castle. >There's a small gathering of mares off in the distance, that all groan in disappointment as you close the door behind you. >You look over to them and they slowly scatter. >What the hell was their deal? >Oh well, it doesn't matter. >The next thing to do was to go to the train station. >Your mind reeled with what you should say or do. >Do we ask her about her family? >Do we try to keep things light hearted? >You look down at your clothes. >Goddamn, you look nice. >This looks much nicer than what Rarity has sewn for you in the past. >Twilight and her Princess powers probably let her do anything. >Shaking your head, you try to keep your mind focused. >You are going to ride on the train with Fluttershy. >Should you try to make a move on her? >Wait, wouldn't that be a little dark? >You look to the sky as you close the distance to the train station. ~~~ >Fluttershy cries over a grave as you walk up behind her. "Hey yo guuurl. Lemme have yo numba." ~~~ >You groan and look to the ground. >Trying to make this more than it is, probably isn't the best idea. >As you approach the train station, you look back up, to spot the yellow pegasus standing in the distance. >You quicken your pace and throw her a wave. >She raises a hoof and waves as you close the gap between you two. >"Thanks for coming, Anon," she asks with a smile. "Are you ready?" "I'm all ready," you say. >"You look very handsome," she says with a smile.
