>You are Anon, a junior at Canterlot High. >It's Saturday night. >No date, no party to attend, just you and your vidya. >You are currently attempting to beat your previous speed run of Metal Gear Solid 3, five hours, thirty-six minutes. >You have your PS3 hooked up to the old man's hometheater system in the basement. >70 inch plasma >Full leather couch. >7.2 Dolby surround system. >Popcorn machine. >The works. >And if that wasn't enough there's a mini bar down here as well. >Not that you were much of a drinker, but the ocasional shot never hurt. >Your parents are out of town on their wedding anniversary, meaning a full week of peace and quiet. >You think they wen't to Kenya this year. >Dad always had a thing for Big game hunting. >Many of his trophies hung on the wall around you. >The wall mounts ranged from buffalo, zebras, rhinos, lions, and one mount your dad claims holds the scale of a purple and green dragon he encountered in Brazil. >Your pretty sure it just belonged to a large snake of some kind but you never tell your dad this. >Wouldn't wanna upset the old man over a tall tale. >You've seen BigFish, not goin through that shit. >Your phone goes off next to you on the couch. >You pause your game. >Damn, and you were just about to kill The End. >Teachin this old timer how to snipe wasn't too hard, but he could catch you by surprise if you weren't careful. >You open your phone to see a text from an old friend, Trixie. >"Hey you home?" >Haven't heard from her in a while. >You type a response and hit send. "Yea, whats up?" >You un-pause and toss your phone back to your side. "Where are you, you wrinkly bastard?" >He was just behind that log a second ago. >Your health and stamina is low, but so is his. >You both need one last shot on one another. >The phone vibrates again. >"Mind if I stop by? Bored as hell." >You start typing another response. >"BAM! SNAKE!?SNAKE!? SNAAAAAAKE!?!?" >Son of a bitch..... >You finish your text and hit send. "Yea, sure." >"Be there in like 15 mins." >You hit the home button on your controller and load up netflix. >Trixie always had a thing for movies, "the magic of cinema", you remember her saying once.   >You get up off your couch and start to prepare everything to accomadate your guest. >You instinctively turn on pandora on the sound system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wY6i5vRlUU 'Nice'. >Pandora while you got ready was a habbit you picked up from helping plan a many a party with Pinkie Pie. 'Good times.' >You chuckle to yourself remembering all the crazy antics that Pink girl got you involved with. 'Note to self, see if Pinkie Is doing anything this weekend.' >With Netflix logged in, you head over to the popcorn machine and open it's glass door. >You pour some uncooked kernals inside and mix in the butter and salt. >Extra butter, low salt, Trixie's favorite. >Which reminds you of a little something. >You open a cabinet next to the popcorn machine filled with various popcorn seasoning salts. 'Let's see here, butter, ranch, cheddar cheese, white cheddar, ah, here we are!' >Your hand reaches for the desired salt. 'Peanut butter flavor, perfect.' >You never really cared for the stuff, but Trixie seemed addicted to it. >You close the machine and start it up, the sound of popping kernals soon reaches your ears. >Next you turn your attention to the mini bar. >You walk over and pull out a couple glasses, a bottle of Jack, and two cans of coke. >Classy. >You drop a few icecubes in the glasses and pour in the liquids. 'About a one fourth jack mix.' >You take a sip and immeadeately step back. 'Okay maybe thats one half.' >Trixie always liked a strong drink, so you suppose it's alright. >The popcorn machine's buzzer rings. >You walk back over to the machine and open its door. >You grab the popcorn scoop, fill two bowls up, and sprinkle the peanut butter seasoning on one of them. 'Perfect' >You take a moment to step back and appreciate your efforts to acommadate your friend. >The sound of the doorbell upstairs signals her arrival. 'Just in time.' >You pull out your phone. "Come on in. I'm in the basement."     >The door opens then closes upstairs and the sound of footsteps can be heard aproaching the basement. >The door to the basement opens, but no more footsteps are heard. >"Presenting!" 'Should of known this girl was gonna make an entrance.' >Trixie starts running down the stairs. >"THE GREAT AND POWERFU-AHH!" >Trixie tumbles down the rest of the stairs and lands at the bottom, her almost bare ass protruding from her cape and facing you. >She's in her full magician get up, blue sequin leotard, hat, cape, and she even has her wand in one hand. >You note she also has a plastic bag in her other hand, filled with what you assume were here street clothes. >Grumbling ,she picks herself up and turns around to face you. >You can't help but chuckle at the pouting expression she has on her face. >"What are you laughing at?" >You grab the drinks and hand one to her. "Oh, nothing." >She takes a sip and smiles, her shoulders drop with a sigh of content. >"Ah, just how I like it, thanks Anon." 'Knew she'd like it.' "No problem, but what's with the get up?" >Trixie seems phased by your question before looking herself over. >"Oh, yes, Trixie just got done doing a show for some kid's birthday party." 'Oh yah, thats right, she preformed magic shows in her spare time. "How'd it go?" >"Alright, Trixie supposes, although she wishes her audiences were of a more mature crowd." "Kids causing problems?" >"One of them tried to ride me like some kind of horse." >Trixie shudders as she takes another sip. >The very idea of a child trying to attrmpt such a feat with Trixie makes you want to bust out laughing, but you keep to yourself for her sake. >"Mind if Trixie gets changed real quick?" >She motions to the bag she brought. "Sure, bathrooms over there." >You point behind yourself towards an open door. >"Thanks Anon." >Trixie smiles as she walks into the bathroom and closes the door behind her.   >You grab both the popcorn and the drinks and set them down on a coffee table in front of the couch. >Looks like a fun night ahead. >You sit down and grab your controller. "Anything in partiqular you wanna watch on Netflix?" >"Actually, Trixie brought a movie with her." 'Really hope it's not Desolation of Smauge.' >Still haven't seen unexpected journey and this girl is a fantasy-oholic. >Pressing the home button, you sign out of Netflix and eject your game disc. >You get off the couch, put the disc back in its case, and wait beside your console for Trixie to hand you her movie. 'Hope it's a Blu-Ray.' >Your PS3 seemed to demolish normal dvds for some reason. >The bathroom door swung open. >Trixie stood in the doorway, wearing a tee shirt with Detroit Motor City plastered on it and a pair of pajama bottoms decorated with stars, moons, and various other cosmic shapes. 'Damn, when did Trixie get so.....cute?' >Those soft curves. >Those bright eyes. >Those moving lips. 'Wait what?' >"I said, Whaddya think?" >Your mind switches out of oggle mode and back into reality. "You look.....cosmic?" 'Smooth Anon, real smooth' >Trixie pouts at this. 'God that face was adorable.' >"Very funny, Anonymous." >She giggles to herself as she sits down. 'How is a laugh possibly that adorable?' "So, uh wheres the movie?" >"Right next to you." >You look around your proximity but don't see the mentioned movie. "What are you talki-" >You're cut short as you notice a small present on the coffee table. "When did that get here?" >Trixie giggles again. >"Magician, remember Anonymous?" 'Why do you keep forgetting about that? >It's loosely covered in purple wrapping paper and a blue bow. 'Looks like it was done in a hurry, but hey, I'm not complaining. "What's is it?" >Trixie has a smug look on her face. >"Oh that?" >She folds her arms. >"It's just a little something I picked up for you a while back." 'What could this possibly be?   >With slight hesitation you tear off the paper, a cardboard box sitting inside. 'Welp, here goes nothing' >You open the box up and look inside. >Your face instantly lights up, 'No. Fucking. Way.' >"From the look on your face, Trixie assumes you are pleased with your gift." >You stare blankly inside the box. "Where did you find one?" >"E-bay." >You pull the beauty out of her resting place. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002BNKQDK/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_cTO2tb11T44WA >A tear almost escapes your eyes. >Sure the comic community loved to rip this movie to shreds, and you saw why, but you loved it flaws and all. >You place the gift down on the table and turn to Trixie. "Thank you, Trixie, it means a lot to me." 'Is she blushing?' >"I- it was nothing Anon." >You retrieve the disc inside of the statue and insert it in your Playstation, the movie starts up instantly. >Trixie pats the spot next to her signalling to sit next to her. 'Movie time.'
