The Doctor couldn’t believe his eyes. He knew this world, Centuria. It was a vibrant place inhabited by peaceful creatures. It was mainly gardens kept by the Centurians, a race of green p0nies that relied on rebreathers. The breathed nitrogen, but inhabited a world where oxygen thrives just for their plants. Every day, he would see a small yellow Pegasus with a pink mane walk through town and remind you of the Centurians. ‘This isn’t right.’ The Doctor said. ‘They couldn’t have died out so….easily. Not now, not ever.’ ‘What’s wrong Doctor?’ Derpy asked, putting a hoof on his shoulder. ‘These creatures were on for peace, they never attacked nop0ny and they never were attacked for millennia.’ ‘Doctor, if you need me to help you, I will.’ The Doctor looked into Derpy’s eyes. They had changed, they were now focused both on him. ‘Right. Lets head into the main part of the citadel, and look around for clues on what happened here.’   The Doctor and Derpy walked into the middle of a large street filled with stone structures at least 20 feet high.  Each of these structures was carved with elegant mosaics of wondrous gardens or lustrous forests with 3 moons overlooking it. It was depressing to say the least to see these buildings, works of art created by an alien race, were crumbling away. ‘Doctor, what could have done this?’ Derpy asks. ‘I don’t know Derpy, but I will find out. This cannot go unaffected.’ They walk through the streets, the Doctor looking for clues while Derpy looks for muffins. After they reach the main citadel, a large stone temple is a round shape, the Doctor pulls out a silver stick with a green light on the end. He holds in his mouth and points the light at the door. A “wirring” sound filled the air, and to door slid open. As they walked inside, they didn’t notice the slow grinding sound coming from the town, like stone moving on stone.   The view inside was unlike anything Derpy had ever seen. Though it was a stone front on the outside, wires and computer screens sat everywhere. It looked like the inside if the Doctor’s ship, but dusty and old. ‘Doctor, what’s that wirry thingy in your mouth?’ Derpy asks, tilting her head as she moved closer. ‘It’s curd eh sono sk-huwriver’ ‘Huh?’ The Doctor placed it back into a pocket that didn’t seem to exist. ‘It’s called a Sonic Screwdriver. It goes Wirr Wirr Wirr, and helps me open things.’ ‘I like the little light on the end.’ The Doctor pulled out the sonic screwdriver and pointed it at Derpy. It wirred again, and Derpy felt like her body was being tickled by thousands of feathers. She collapsed on the ground laughing ‘Stop…Stop it Doctor…I’m ticklish.’ The Doctor put it away and said ‘Come on, we need to find the security feed for the town. It should be over there.’ He walked off to the left, Derpy in tow.   He found the security computer, and with a quick “wirr” from the screwdriver, it reactivates. Derpy gets bored, and starts walking around for a bit. Scanning through the computer files, the Doctor finds the video file they are looking for. One the screen came up a p0nyoid creature with a mask around his muzzle. It’s green skin shone in the light and it had striking orange eyes, like a reptiles. ‘Today *Chursh* we found a fairly striking *chursh* statue.’ The scientist said on the video. It was hard to talk with a rebreather on, but they tried their best. Derpy looked out the window at all the town below. She was bored with being here, there was no muffins. The Doctor lied to her. But then she saw movement, and she smiled. ‘More statues found in the forest *chursh* brought into town with the rest.’ Said the scientist. ‘Hey Doctor…’ Derpy called. ‘Not now Derpy.’ Said the doctor. Derpy looked out the window again, she saw more movement. One came out of the houses and her eyes widened. ‘The statues *chursh* they’re begining to look creepy.’ Said the scientist. ‘But Doctor?’ ‘Please Derpy, not now.’ Said the Doctor. ‘Our people are missing *chursh* we don’t know *chursh* where they are.’ ‘DOCTOR!!’ ‘What Derpy?! What is it that can’t wait?!?’ Derpy pointed out the window, and as the Doctor looked, his face when white. ‘The statues *chursh* they are alive *chursh* we are done for’   The Doctor and Derpy stood at the window. Outside in the courtyard stood no less than 12 statues. Derpy didn’t recognise them, to her they looked like Pegasi statues crying into their front hooves. But the Doctor was terrified. ‘The weeping Pegasi.’ was the only words to escape his mouth. ‘What Doctor? What are they?’ Derpy asked ‘Derpy, those things are one of the most incredibly scary things in this universe. They are natural born killers, and have the perfect defence. They are the weeping Pegasi.’ ‘But how did they get out there?’ ‘Their perfect defence is they can only move when no p0ny is looking. But when they move they are fast.’ ‘So what’s the plan?’  ‘Listen to me: blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink.’   They stood in the doorway of the citadel, staring at the Pegasi statues. They had moved closer since moving to the door. They still held their faces in their hooves, but they were getting closer to their prey. ‘Doctor, I’m scared.’ Derpy said. ‘I know Derpy. But while I’m here, I will save you.’ Replied the Doctor. ‘Doctor.’ Came a voice from the crowd ‘Doctor, is that you?’ The Doctor recognised that voice, it was the scientist from the tape. ‘Who is that?’ ‘It is me, Doctor.’ The voice came from the Pegasus in the front. ‘Ahh yes, Mr. Weeping Pegasus. It’s good to see you again.’ ‘Doctor it has been far too long. We wondered where you had gone to. We searched for you for a while, but your little blue box was nowhere.’ ‘So you kill off a peaceful race of Centurians?’ the Doctor screams ‘and then steal the scientist’s voice.’ ‘We knew you would be here Doctor. We needed to communicate.’   ‘You know, leaving a simple note is easier.’ Derpy said. ‘Hehehe, Doctor. This new companion of yours, she is a laugh.’ Said the lead Pegasus. ‘You leave her out of this.’ The Doctor says ‘What did you need to talk to me about?’ ‘Doctor, he is coming. The Truth is coming Doctor.’ ‘Well, what is the truth? Let me guess, you don’t like me aaand you want to kill me?’ ‘The Truth is coming Doctor, and you shall be powerless to stop it.’ ‘Sorry to tell you this, but you are dealing with somep0ny who is resilient. This evil you speak of shall never come because I will not allow it.’ ‘The Truth is coming Doctor, and you will not live to see tomorrow.’ ‘What makes you think that?’ ‘Look at the suns Doctor. It is almost night, and without the light of the suns you will not be able to see us.’ The Doctor glanced at the suns, they were indeed all setting. It was an occurrence that only happened once a decade, and you had fallen into their trap on this exact day.   ‘Doctor….’ Derpy was crying now ‘Doctor, are we going to die?’ ‘No Derpy. We will…I’ll get you out of here.’ The Doctor said. He thought as hard and fast as he could. He only had 5 minutes to get to his TARDIS and get Derpy to safety. ‘Think, think, think…’ the Doctor bashed his head with his hoof. ‘Ah HA! Derpy, I need you to trust me.’ ‘But…but Doctor…’ ‘Derpy Hooves, please. I need you to trust everything I say here. I will get you to safety, and I promise you on this.’ ‘Okay Doctor. I trust you.’ ‘I need you to look at them. Not in the eyes, but just look at them. It’s a staring contest, and the winner gets a muffin the size of a beach ball.’ ‘Muffin…’ Derpy’s eyes focused on the group of weeping Pegasi with utter intense. This was the Doctor’s cue to run.   The Doctor ran for the TARDIS. The Pegasi didn’t move, luckily. But he didn’t have much time, the suns were almost set. He needed to get Derpy to him, and he had to make it fast. ‘Think man, THINK!!’ he said aloud. ‘Is everything okay Doctor?’ Derpy called out. ‘Yes Derpy. I am just ordering the muffin’ ‘He is going to leave you.’ The Pegasi said ‘Don’t worry, I will make your death painless.’ ‘DON’T  LISTEN TO IT!!’ the Doctor screamed. ‘Think, what do we know about Derpy? Mail mare, has twisted eyes, nicest p0ny you met in ages, makes a mean muffin, little ditzy at times…WAIT!!’ The Doctor ran to the door. the light was almost gone and the Pegasi were trying to move. ‘Derpy! FREE MUFFIN SPECTACULAR IN HERE!!!’ the Doctor screamed. He watched as Derpy’s left eye twitched. It happened in a flash, Derpy’s wings started to flutter and beat faster and faster. She winded up as the last of the light hit the Pegasi statues. She burst through the group, breaking the stone as she shot through towards the TARDIS. She landed with a thump as the Doctor caught her. ‘Muffin…’ she whispered before passing out.
