Prologue (1 month after the events of Vinyl and Anon’s business) >You are Vinyl. >And you are nervous. >Octavia was working on your dress as we speak. >It was a little on the tight end, but it looked nice. >You could always pull of white, it was kinda your color… that and red. >Your wedding ring was still resting on your horn, right where you left it a month ago. >Things moved quickly in a month… >Some good… some not so good. >You put out your first album (it was a hit). >Your parents disowned you for wanting to marry a “strange alien creature”. >Anon gave the club to Chet and moved into an actual house. >You still got headaches when you overexerted your magic… >All in all, you still lived an interesting life. >Today was going to be case in fact. >Because, today was your wedding day.   >You are Anon. >And you are pretty sure you were gonna be sick. >You had asked Vinyl to marry you just over a month ago, and things had moved pretty quickly after that. >Chet had asked to be your best stallion and you couldn’t imagine someone more suited to the task. >When you found that Octavia was going to be the bridesmare, you were glad to have everyone you loved taking part in this special occasion. >Chatterbox was going to take care of getting the catering, guest list, and security which allowed you and Vinyl to take care of the music selection. >You kept your music choices separate from each other so it would be a surprise. >You had a few things all in hand and, at the time, you were feeling pretty confident. >Not so much now. >It didn’t help than Vinyl’s parents refused to show because they didn’t approve of you. >You couldn’t exactly blame them, but it hurt Vinyl more than you could comprehend. >You were all dolled up in a custom made tuxedo and had gotten your normally messy hair trimmed and styled so it no longer looked like Shaggy’s custom mess. >You were pacing the dressing room with a fervor that would impress even Harshwhinny, when you heard a knock on the door. “Who is it?” >”It’s me man open up!” >Good old Chet, he seemed to know right when you needed a bro the most and show up. >You open the door to reveal the pegasus dressed in a matching tuxedo top like yours. >He looked pretty dashing, not as good as you, but still… “Come on in man.” >You wave him inside and close the door. >”By Celestia you look like shit Anon!” >He had a way with words that was for sure. “I know, I’m just nervous that’s all.” >”Ok, stop for a second…” >You stop pacing and look at him. >”First, do you love Vinyl?” “More than anything else!” >”Second, is Octavia supporting this?” “In her own words, “I would be disappointed if the two of you didn’t get married.”” >”Third, is Vinyl ok with the three of you continuing your little three way even if you were married?” “Are you kidding? I think she is getting more out of it than I do.” >”And finally, do you want to spend the rest of your life with her?” >You stopped and thought about all the things you went through with Vinyl. >The two of you had been there for each other through thick and thin. >She had saved your life. >You loved her. “Yeah, I do.” >He smiles, “Than get out there and make it happen.” >You were feeling hyped now, all your fear and worry was gone, the only thing left was a determination to do this. >You made your way to the alter, just without an actual podium in place… the pony joining the two of you in marriage didn’t need one. >With Chet at your side, you waited for Vinyl to show up… you still had a few surprises up your sleeves for her…   >You are Vinyl >And it’s time. >This was your big moment. >You were waiting at the drapes that led down the walkway. >Anon and the pony that would be marrying the two of you was waiting for you. >All you had to do was walk forward… >Just take those steps… >Damn! >You were finding this harder then you thought it would. >You had to walk down the aisle alone because your father couldn’t be here. >He wanted to, but mom absolutely hated the idea of you marrying Anon. >While you were busy brooding over this, you didn’t notice somepony sneaking up behind you. >”I see you are feeling kinda nervous. I thought you were ready for marriage!” >You spin around and see the one pony you needed the most. >Your father. “Dad, what are you doing here? I thought mom said the two of you aren’t coming!” >”Ha, your mother was not going to stop me from being here on your most important day!” >You had tears in your eyes as you threw yourself at your father for a big hug. >He returned it with everything he had, “I can’t believe my little filly grew up so fast.” >The two of you continued like this until you heard a slight cough. >”I know this is big for you Vinyl, but Anon and everypony else is waiting!” >You break off the hug and see Octavia in her grey satin dress standing behind you. >You nod and turn to your father who nods to you and takes his rightful place by your side. >The music starts and the drapes part. >It was time. >You are Anon. >It was time. >The music had started and the drapes parted to reveal Vinyl and… her father? >You were aghast as the two of them slowly made their way down the aisle together with Octavia trotting behind Vinyl as faithfully as ever. >Vinyl have you an excited smile as she approached and you returned it. >Then, she looked a little to your right and saw the pony who would be joining you two. >It was none other than Princess Celestia herself in all her glory. >You watched as Vinyl almost tripped and fell because she was so taken aback. >You had to stifle a laugh, it was so funny. >She regained her composure and finished her walk to you. >Vinyl’s father nodded to you and you tipped your imaginary fedora in reply. >Vinyl and you took your places and Celestia began. >”Fillies and Gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to celebrate the joyous joining of Anonymous O. Nameless, and Vinyl Scratch.” >”Anonymous proposed to Vinyl Scratch and she agreed to be wed to him, if there are any here who would contest this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace…” >In the back you heard Chatterbox call out, “Screw that noise! You can do it Anon!” >There was a collective chuckle from the crowd and you did a little facepalm. >This guy here. >”Thank you Chatterbox, now then. The pair has given me a custom set of vows for them to read to each other.” >The two of you agreed that since you were no ordinary couple, you wanted to do something special. >She went first, “Anon, when we first met, I was just a twobit DJ, struggling to make it. You saw my talent and offered me a job. What happened next could only be described as incredible.” >You were looking into her eyes and could see the tears forming… you had a hard time not crying yourself. >”We laughed, we worked, we played, and I had an amazing time with you. When I was in the hospital, you were there for me when I couldn’t ask for you. Now that I have the chance to formally ask, will you be here by my side forever?” >You had to choke out the words, but you got them out, “I will!” >Now, it was your turn. “Vinyl, when I first arrived in this world, I was alone. I had few friends, and everyone I met was either hostile or scared of me in the beginning. You were one of the few who befriended me with no reservations.” “It started so simply, I never saw it coming. I had reservation left over from my former life, but, I fell in love with you so deeply, no amount of rationalizing could stop it. When you were injured, I felt like a part of me died inside. I want to be there for you for the rest of my life. Will you let me be by your side?” >She was openly crying as she answered, “Yes, of course yes!” >Celestia gave the two of you a warm smile… and you a knowing wink. >You sometimes wondered if she planned all this. >”Well, since both parties are in agreement, by the power vested in me by this great country of Equestria, I now join you as husband and wife… you may kiss the bride.” >You picked up Vinyl in your arms and gave her the biggest kiss you could manage. >The entire crowd was stomping their approval and was cheering as loudly as though they were at one of Vinyl’s concerts. >When you were finished mouth hugging Vinyl, you set her down, and she threw her bouquet. >It landed in the crowd, and you could see a random mare rise up and scream her triumph. >The two of you slowly made your to the dance floor, the wedding had taken place at the old joint. >Vinyl had wanted it to take place somewhere familiar. >She used her magic to turn on the playlist. >The first song was yours. > (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BQLE_RrTSU) >It was a popular choice for wedding back on Earth, and you loved this damn song. >And the best part? >You knew for certain Vinyl had never heard this song before. >You grabbed Vinyl by the front hooves and danced like you did on the dancefloor. >The two of you were dominating it out there, though everyone was having a good time. >It seemed it didn’t matter that this was a foreign song… love was universal.   >You are Vinyl. >And you just got married! >When you and Anon hit the dancefloor, you didn’t know what to expect, but you hit the music and waited. >When the song started, he grabbed you and started slow dancing with you. >As the lyrics played, you had to fight to not start crying again. >When the music stepped up, he sped up and started his little dance he called the samba. >You were loving this, you were dancing with your husband to a love song. >You couldn’t stop smiling. >This was easily one of your life’s perfect moments. >A few minutes later when the song was done, it switched over to your first pick. > (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ezc4HdLGxg4) >When you first heard it, you loved it immediately. >You remember when you first came to Canterlot with Anon, and how the two of you argued for almost 20 minutes over your luggage. >The two of you still laugh about that. >Anon, knew immediately which song this was and gave you a sweet smile and his trademark smirk. >For the next four and a half minutes, you danced slowly with him, nestling your face into his chest. >It never stopped being mildly awkward dancing with him, but you didn’t care. >You loved dancing, and you loved Anon… so it all worked out. >When it came time for the next song, it flipped over to his second and final choice. > (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ATzReD4f6A) >It was a sad song, but you could understand where he was coming from. >He had led a hard life for a good while from what you had heard from Chatterbox. >When the chorus kicked in, Anon spun you around and picked you up. >After planting a sweet kiss on your mouth, he put you back down and resumed his slower dancing.   >You are Anon. >And you were dancing with your wife! >You loved the song she picked, it was not what you had expected, but it was one you enjoyed dancing to. >When it was done and you danced your heart out to it, it was finally time for the last song. >The two of you agreed that the final song should be yours, and you wanted to make sure it would be one to remember. > (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnYjGCFk6bg) >You picked this song, because… it felt right. >And Vinyl had never heard of it. >And because it would be perfect for your party wedding. >As soon as it picked up, everyone went apeshit. >Screw the slow dancing… it was time to party. >Vinyl started busting a few moves of her own and you couldn’t help but follow suit. >This was easily one of the best moments of your entire life. >It was perfect. >The song was set to repeat the minute of the song a few times, and it went over better than you had imagined. >You had the time of your life just dancing in the crowd with Vinyl, and if you could, you would do it forever. >But, eventually, the song stopped and the crowd dispersed, leaving just you and Vinyl on the dancefloor… back to slow dancing… imagining music in your minds.
