>At your shouting, the yellow one gasps and tries to hide behind the purple one. You seem to have scared it. >The purple one looks back at it, then to you. It looks angry. How does it look angry? >Regardless, that's probably not good >The unicorn takes a step forward. You take a step back. >"Talking purple unicorns. I MUST be in a dream" you say to yourself >It takes another step. >"Come on, Anon! Wake up!" you say louder, slapping yourself hard across the face. >Nope, they're still there. >This is actually happening. >And that stung like a bitch too, fucking hell why did you even do that. >As you hiss in pain, the pegasus looks almost... concerned? It starts walking towards you as well. >Maybe they can be reasoned with? >"Hey, let's not do anything we'll later regret" you say to the advancing horses. You've put your hands out in front of you in a placating gesture. >That doesn't stop them. >'What now?' you think to yourself. >'RUN!'   >"Well, it's been nice meeting you. But I really must be-OH MY GOD WHAT'S THAT OVER THERE?!" You scream and point behind them. >They actually span around. You can't believe they actually fell for it. >You'd laugh, but you'd already started running away >Behind you is a shout and the clopping of hooves, as they begin to give chase. >Thankfully, they only about as high as your waist. You can easily outpace them. >Now you just need to find a place to hide. There seems to be a forest on the horizon. It'll do. >Just take a quick look behind, to see if you're losing them. >Big mistake. Should have watched where you were going. >Your foot hits an unexpected dip in the ground, it twists and you fall forward. >HOLY FUCKING SHIT-STICKS IT HURTS >You scream in agony as you look at your ankle. You're no doctor, but your foot probably shouldn't bend that way. >You try to push yourself to your feet, but you can't do it with one working ankle. >You briefly consider crawling, but it probably wouldn't do much good. Besides, crawling away crying is no way to die. >Defeated, you push yourself onto your back and watch as the two horses rapidly approach. >The yellow one is now in front, and is hurtling towards you at high speed. >It's actually flying. >Well, of course it's flying. It's got wings. You should have seen this coming. >It's only a few feet away now. You close your eyes and brace for impact. >Instead, you feel something soft wrap around your arm >You open your eyes in shock. It's... hugging you?   >"Well, this is new" You say to yourself, surprise momentarily chasing the pain out of your mind. >You're beginning to feel a little light-headed. It could be the adrenalin, or something. >The purple one finally catches up. It looks at your ankle, then has a brief conversation with the yellow one. >"Are either of your doctors?" you ask. "Hahaha, you could be Horse M.D.!" >You're giggling your face off now. It all seems so silly. >You broke your ankle running from a purple unicorn and a yellow pegasus. >Speaking of which, it's hurting again. It doesn't seem to be so agonising anymore, but it still hurts A LOT. But you're giggling anyway. >It must be adrenalin, or something. Definitely. >You're suddenly aware that the purple one is trying to talk to you. You stop staring off into space and look down at it. >"I'm sorry, I don't speak horse" you say. >It just frowns. You move your weight onto one hand, then point the other at your ear and shake your head. You then shrug your shoulders. >It seems to understand. It closes its eyes, and its horn starts glowing purple. >"Wait, what are you doing?" >Before you know it, you're floating four feet in the air, a shimmering aura of the same colour surrounding you. >It's magic. It's a bloody magical unicorn. >In retrospect, this too should have been obvious >The unicorn starts to walk back the way it came, trailing you behind like some kind of ugly balloon >The pegasus flaps up to you and presses a small bottle into your hands. It motions drinking it, and gives you a pleading look. >You shrug, and do so. Perhaps it's a painkiller of some kind. It wouldn't be the strangest thing today. >The pegasus smiles at you, and glides down to the ground, to walk next to the unicorn. >As they talk amongst themselves, you start to feel unbearably sleepy. >Maybe you should just shut your eyes for a moment. Yeah. That'd be nice. >As you drift off, you can't help but wonder: Where was that pegasus hiding that bottle anyway?
