>A beautiful and sunny day in Ponyville. >You look down at the address that Pinkie gave you this morning. >She said that the pony at the location written wanted to see you. >You asked her why, and Pinkie happily responded with saying "for artistic reasons." >Pinkie shortly after said that she really didn't know, but the pony wanted your presence. >What would this pony want with you? >Maybe you'll find out when you reach the mysterious pony's home. >When you make it to the house, you lower the paper and look at the house. >A decent looking two story home. >The flowers are watered, the windows are clean, and the curtains are closed upstairs to prevent the sunlight coming in. >You walk up to the door, step on the "Welcome Home!" mat and knock on the door. >"... C-Coming..." said the mare on the other side. >The quiet tone of this mare reminded you of Eri. >You hear the multiple locks on the door unlocking. >How much security does this mare need? >You and she are in Ponyville! >... Then again, there could be bugbear attacks and whatever crazy creatures this world has. >After the last lock has been unlocked, the door creaks open. >The mare slowly walks out, but only has her shivering front body out. >This mare has a sharp looking mane. >Her long white bangs were covering one of her golden and slightly baggy eyes. >She has a small bit of sky blue hair to her ear and the rest of her mane is dark purple. >She also has piercings on her ear and she is wearing a black collar with a golden tag that has a heart on it. >You notice that she is slowly backing inside the house. >Shit, did you stare at her for too long? >You cough a little and she widens her eyes. "Um, are you the pony that wanted me?" >The mare slowly nods, "Y-Yeah..." >She is still shivering, as if she was in a blizzard with no clothes on. >However, she is still looking at you with a shocked expression. "Are you okay?" >"... Sorry for uh... hiding like this. I didn't know you would be so... tall..."   >Are you that intimidating? "Well, I am the only human in Equestria." >The mare nods, "S-So... what's your name?" "Anonymous, but you can call me Anon. What's yours?" >"... H-Happy... Happy Accident..." >Did her parents name her that after her first bathroom accident? >Or did Bob Ross come down to Equestria and told her that's her name? "A weird name." >"I-It is... b-but, simply... c-call me Addie." >Cute nickname. "Alright Addie. So what did you need me here for?" >Addie casts her head down and drags her hoof on the floor. >"... I'm wondering if... y-you want to be in... a picture of mine." >You arch your brow at her. "A picture?" >"M-More of a sketch... I can show you w-what they look like." "Sounds reasonable." >Addie opens the door for you and you walk inside. >Her house isn't that bad in the inside either. >Her living room is a probably her work room because of how messy it is. >There are art stands, pencils, erasers, paper, markers... >There is a big space in the center of the living room. >You guess that spot will be where she wants you to be. >You also notice there is a bed between the kitchen and the living room. >She sleeps there? Doesn't she have a room upstairs? >Addie walks in front of you and weakly smiles. >You finally get a better picture of her. >She's about the same height as Eri and her tail is made up of the same colored streaks on her mane. >Her cutie mark is a big heart placed between two small x's. >What does it mean? >"... T-This is where I work... a-and um..." >She looks through the art stands filled with paper and pulls out a large piece of drawn paper. >Addie then gives it to you and you look over it. >"And this... is what my art looks like..." >It is a heavily detailed pencil sketch of a violin and bow, standing tall on a wooden stool. >Connie would pay bits to have this picture. >So many details in this picture. >The shading, the way the violin and bow looks... "This looks amazing!" >"I-It's just a sketch... o-only practice..."   >You widen your eyes at Addie and point at the supposed "sketch." "This? This is a sketch?" >Addie casts her head down, "Y-Yeah..." "These look more than practice sketches! You could be selling them to the ponies ou there! >"I... I don't plan on... s-selling them..." >She sounds like she doesn't want to be noticed by every pony in Ponyville. >You guess it's understandable. >Addie is a little shy right now. >But, that's because you met her like five minutes ago? "I see." >Addie walks over to the other art stands and pulls out some more pictures. >They are all heavily detailed like the violin picture and each of them are different. >A paper crane flying in the air, and a pencil writing on paper with magic. >"A-Anyways... that's what my art is. Just pencil s-sketching." >You are honestly considering to buy these pictures from her. >You set the pictures down by her chair and you look at her. "What do you want me to do then?" >Addie blinks and looks at the big open center in the living room. >"I-I need you to stand over there..." Addie pointed. >You oblige, stand in the open area, and face Addie. >She is preparing a brand new piece of paper, along with getting a pencil and eraser. >"A-And d-do a pose..." >A pose? Like a serious or a joke pose? >... Oh! >You have the perfect pose in mind! >You put your feet shoulder length apart, your hands on the front belt, and make a serious face. >Ms. Addie, I'm CIA. >"That... looks cool... j-just hold that pose for a while. >She then goes to work on the sketch. >While you are remembering the whole beginning scene of the movie, you watch how Addie works. >She quickly draws the lines and if there is a mistake, she drops the pencil immediately and erased the mistake. >You feel that if you move a muscle from this position, you could potentially mess up the whole picture. >This position is getting a little tiring, but you are sure that this will be worth it in the end.   >... >After what felt like a long time, Addie sighs and looks at you, "Y-You can move now... I-I'm finished..." >You relax your body and happily sigh. "How long do those sketches take you?" >"U-Usually ten minutes... depending on what they are..." >Ten minute sketches? >You are not sure if that should impress you or not. >Paper can make a paper crane in five minutes. >"H-Here Anon..." Addie signals you to come over. >You walk over to her and look at what she made. >What the hell. >She drew you as if you were in that pencil sketch world from A-ha's "Take On Me" music video. >Which means it is fantastic. >Again you see the little details and the perfect amount of shading into the image. >She had your expression and the hands are really good. "It's... wow, Addie. This is awesome. Like, I can't even say anything else other than that." >"T-Thanks..." Addie said. >That's it. >She needs to be rewarded for this. >Quickly, you walk behind Addie and pull out your wallet. >Addie looks at you with a concerned look. >"Anon? What's wrong-" >You show her fifteen bits stacked neatly and place them in one of her pencil boxes. >Then, you grab the pictures that you set down and show them to Addie. "And I'll buy the paper crane, magic pencil, and violin pictures." >"B-But... I-I'm not selling them... i-if anything... you can have them... for free..." "Nonsense!" >"...What?" "Addie, your pictures are really really great! Your sketch style, and how you pay attention to the little details. You deserve these bits!" >She looks over at the bits and back at you. >"You... r-really think so?" Addie asked. "I do!" >You chuckle a bit before you look at the clock. "Anyways, Addie, I have to get going now!" >"U-Um... o-okay..." >You grab the three pictures and head for the door.   >"W-Wait!" Addie called out. >You look back at Addie and raise your brow. "Yes?" >"... W-Where are you going?" "Uh, just heading back home to drips these pictures off, and I have to help out Twilight with something in her castle." >"A-And... um... if you want to come back here... for another sketch... j-just come by here... I might come over... and ask you again like this." >You smile at Addie. "I'll come back. I definitely will." >"... G-Goodbye... Anon..." "See you later!" >You wave goodbye at Addie and she watches you leave the house and off to the streets. >Eri, Connie, and Paper are going to love these! >...   >You look over your recent sketch. >The picture of Anon making a serious pose. >You recall all of those words he told you before he left. >How you deserve every bit with the work you put in your sketch. >How he likes your art style. >How your sketches are more than that. >... You couldn't help but shed a small tear. "N-Nopony has ever... t-told me any of that..." >You start talking to yourself again. "W-Why...? I-Is what he's saying true...?" >You wipe the tears off your face and look at the sketch, or... picture, again. >Maybe you can catch him again later in the week. >You grab the picture and a hoof tack. >Hanging the picture with the tack on the wall, you sigh and walk off to bed. >Time for the usual nap... >...
