>The rest of Orange's lunch continues with you two just holding each other and you're pretty sure the holding goes on for some time after >It doesn't bother you, it's far too nice to be upset with more of >But like all good things, it eventually comes to an end when she lifts you up and kisses the tip of your nose >Before you can try and kiss her back she sets you on the table to watch as she puts her plate and glass in the sink and washes them, your bottle and Whatchamacallit in the fridge, and comes back to place you on her back >"Come on, Anny, let's get the bed ready for when daddy comes home tonight." >Even if she didn't mean to bring it up, you feel more than a bit guilty for putting her and Blue through this >The two of you head out the back door and over to a clothes line you hadn't noticed before and decide to ignore how the beams protrude from the clouds >She pulls a white sheet from the line and miraculously manages to fold it before tossing it ontop of you on her back >You yelp as your sight is cut off before recomposing yourself and poking your head out and up at her >Your plan succeeds and she laughs, "Sorry Anny, I'm not exactly used to having passengers back there." She grabs you by your neck and sets you on the ground next to her while she pulls off another miracle and folds the gray comforter and tosses it onto her back >Now it's your turn to be set ontop of something on her back and looking around you feel like a Turkish prince getting a palanquin ride >She nuzzles you before lightly grabbing your mane with her mouth and pulling it so you're laying on your stomach >"We don't want you to fall off there now, do we?" >A quick look over the side has you babbling out what should be "Yeah..." >She smiles back at you before heading off inside and to the bedroom which is much more illuminated now than you recall >There's the bed without a sheet or blanket that takes up a sizeable portion of the room, two dressers next to each other across from it, a mirror above those, and an end table on either side of the bed >As Orange nears the bed, she puts her side to it and bounces her one side up, sending you, the comforter, and the sheet onto the bed in a large pile and laughs playfully as you flail through the air >By the time you get yourself back upright, you're lifted off the bed by Orange who has taken to hovering above the bed and sets you down on the floor >"Now stay there while I make the bed, sweetie." She sets the comforter on the ground next to you so she can get the sheet on, and you take a seat next to it, watching her >While she goes through the movements of stretching out the sheet across the bed and tucking it in, you realize you can't remember the last time you actually made your bed >At the time, just tossing a blanket onto the mattress was just as good as a perfectly made bed, for you at least >Orange comes and lands next to you, giving you a kiss on the forehead and ruffling your mane before grabbing the comforter and setting it on the bed much like the sheet but without the tucking >With the bed finally done she comes back for you again and sets you ontop of the bed and lays down next to you >"So what do you think? Comfy enough?" >You lay down and... Wow >This bed is just way too comfortable >You hadn't noticed it this morning, but then again you also didn't notice that the bed was drenched this morning >She seems to notice just how comfortable you are and chuckles again, "I guess mommy did a pretty good job of making the bed." >If only you had her back on Earth, you don't think you ever would have left the bed >Suddenly, you're plucked from your comfort zone and held up above Orange, looking down at her >She smiles and quickly lowers her hooves before catching you a couple inches away from your original altitude, "Whoopsie daisies!" >*Oh God, it's the Tower of Terror all over again* >Another sudden drop only to quickly be caught, "Whoopsie daisies!" >You can feel your heart pumping rapidly, you were never one for these sudden drop thi- >"Whoopsie daisies!" >You fidget nervously as your nerves get closer and closer to the breaking point >A fourth drop, "Whoopsie daisies!" >That chill that was running down your spine a moment ago seems to subside... >Fifth drop >Wait... It's so simple... >You're not in any danger >She catches you every time! >And even if she doesn't, you fell from higher than this onto a mountain of pots earlier today, if you fall from here then you land on her stomach >The realization that there's no danger has you laughing at your thirty seconds ago self >And your laughter has her smiling, "I knew you'd have fun with this!" >Sixth drop has you laughing hysterically and she joins in >On the seventh drop, once you're caught she brings you close and hugs you tight >"Did Anny like that game?" >Your laughter gives her your answer >"Good! Maybe we can play games with daddy when he's done with work. Would you like that?" >You're still laughing at yourself so she takes that as a yes >She begins rubbing your back, "Y'know Anny, you make my days off much more enjoyable." >Wait, her days off? She has a job? >You can't help but try to think of what her job is, and now that you're thinking about that you also wonder what Blue's job is >It shows just how little you know about these two that you can't tell what they do for a living >You don't even know their names >Then again, you have only known them for less than a single day >You take this latest cuddle session as an opportunity to try and think how much people could learn about your former self without the ability to ask questions
