>You two have just been cuddling the past few minutes >More like she was cuddling you, you were still trying to make sense of things >Then you heard the call, "Breakfast's ready!" from out the door >You both look at the door then back to each other and the orange pony smiles, getting off of the bed and picking you up by the back your neck with her mouth, surprisingly it doesn't hurt but nonetheless you still squirm a bit >Then as she stifles a laugh you stop and just pout at the world >As you and and her cross through the door, you're met with a decent sized, what you can only assume to be, living room >Two sofa chairs, a decent sized couch, a fireplace, and a window looking out on a neighborhood made of.... Clouds? >*HOLY FUCKSHIT I'M IN CLOUDSDALE!* >You outstretch your hooves towards the window and begin squirming again, you wanna see Cloudsdale >But it seems the orange pony has other plans for you and you're taken out of the living room into the kitchen >There's a fridge, a stove, a sink, some counters, and a square table with chairs that are much more cushiony than you remember most chairs being and the seat of the chair lower than you're used to seeing >And even better, another window which you immediately change your focus to >The blue pony sees you and laughs lightly, "Sorry sweetie, but you can go outside once we're done breakfast." >You accept the ultimatum and are set on the table, immediately receiving a kiss from the orange pony on the cheek as she takes a seat in the chair next to you, and you see why there's lowered seats on them >Joining you on the table is two plates of vegetables, two glasses of what you can only assume to be orange juice, and a glass of milk >Remembering what was said in the bedroom, you assume this is for you so you start to walk towards it only to fall over again >*Oh right, weak legs, of course* >You make due with crawling towards the glass and get some chuckles from the other two >Once you finish your long trek to the milk glass, you reach for it only to see the orange pony quickly pick it up and sit you up, "Nuh uh uh, you might spill it. Honey, can you..." >"Already on it," and as you turn to see what he's talking about he wraps a wash cloth around your neck as an improvised bib >She thanks him and they kiss then her attention is back on you as she slowly eases the glass towards your mouth, "All right, open up now... I know you're not used to drinking from a glass, but I'm sure you can do it!" >*Oh, sure, thanks for the vote of confidence. Tell me, why is there a rag around my neck?* >You open your mouth and she tips the glass, pouring some warm milk into your mouth and more of it onto your mouth and the wash cloth, you blame her for this mess >Once you manage to get what can only amount to a few sips, she sets the glass down and wipes your mouth with the rag, "See? I knew you could do it!" >Damn straight >Breakfast goes on with her giving you a bit more to drink here and there, by the end of it only using half of the milk and those two eating and drinking and talking, most of which you ignore in favor of staring out the window >Eventually, your day dreaming is ended by the blue pony grabbing you by the scruff of your neck, startling you, and you being set on his back, nice and snug between his two wings >He smiles at you as the orange pony gets to putting the dishes and cups in the sink, the milk glass going into the fridge for later >Once everything is all said and done blue and orange make for the living room again and you catch yourself staring towards the window again until you feel the orange pony nosing your side >In turning towards her, you spot that the front door of the house is open and outside it's... It's beautiful >For one, the ground is clouds. The sky is perfectly blue above, the sun shining down with no clouds blocking it. All around, you see Pegasi, and this gives you an idea as you turn around and see that you too are a Pegasus! Fuck yeah! >If you couldn't feel the massive grin on your face as your wings flutter with excitement, the look of your two caretakers definitely would have given it away, the two smiling back at you >"Well, we'd better hurry... Who knows how long until she has to go..." The blue pony says after a while and the orange one quickly nods as they set off, you still riding around on Blue's back and taking in the cloud-covered buildings. >As the two walked alongside each other, occasionally leaning their heads against each other and periodically giving you some affection, the question eventually came up, "So, what should we call her?" asked Blue. >This conversation topic piqued your interest >"Should we be coming up with a name for her? I mean, she's not ours..." >"Well if we can't find her parents, she might become ours. Besides, having a name for her would be nice, y'know?" >"I guess you're right... How about your cousin's name?" >"Anny?" >*Anny? Excuse me, the name's Anon!* >If your disagreement with the name appeared on your face, they didn't notice it >"Yeah, Anny! It's a nice name, and I'm sure Anny would love it, especially after she named her son after you." >You groan but they're too caught up in their own conversation to notice, *Not being able to talk sucks* >"Well, I guess when you put it that way, sure. Anny it is." >Orange turns to you and smiles, "How do you like that name?" >Rather than make her upset when you can't offer your own input, you just put on a smile and nod your head pseudo-enthusiastically >If you never heard a pony squee before, you certainly have now as she claps her hooves together >And seeing her so happy over such a little thing, you can't help but genuinely feel good about yourself >Jesus, what's happening to you? >Blue seems genuinely happy to see your response as well, but nowhere near as happy as Orange despite her initial protest >The three of you continue going along with those two talking about plans and you still being amazed by the fact that you are literally riding on a pony that is walking on a cloud >But alas, like all good things, this too must come to an end as they near Wal?Mare and he goes back to walking on an actual floor, you can only assume the buildings have floors to keep the occupants from falling when it rains or something along those lines >Blue grabs a shopping cart and Orange sets you into the seat, which you're a bit small for but you still fit in and are buckled in >You can't remember the last time you were in this seat, or if you ever were. Most of your memories involving shopping carts have you either standing on the end or in Blue's position with one foot on the bar and the other kicking at the ground to see how fast you could get >It's still nice to see everything going on from this perspective, though, and Blue makes quite a bit of silly faces as he and Orange shop, some of which are just dumb and some of which make you genuinely laugh, sometimes they both apply >The one downside to sitting in this position is you can't see what it is that they're getting, no matter how much you strain your head to see what's in the basket >It might have paid off to listen to these two when they weren't just talking to you, because that's likely when they planned all of this. All you're getting now is idle chatter, silly faces, and occasional questions of "This or this?" >Shopping time ends and the cart, including you, is brought up to the register where you spot a Whatchamacallit! >That's right, an actual Whatchamacallit! No punny name, this is a direct bring over from Earth, and with Odin as your witness, you shall have it! >You immediately start stretching towards the mystical Whatchamacallit with hooves outstretched, grunting, making babbling instead of shouting "Hey! Hey! I want that! Gimme THAT! I want that Whatchamacallit! Right there, underneath the Filly Bottle Pops!" >"Awww, she's adorable!" you hear the cashier comment, "How old is she?" >"We're not too sure, we just found her last night," replies Orange behind you as Blue looks towards where your grabbing >"Found her? That's horrible!" >"Yeah, she was just laying outside on the ground, shivering. We don't know who her parents are or where they live." Blue looks back at you then towards the candy, holding a hoof over the Filly Bottle Pop >"If you ask me, you should just keep her. She looks just like you two, his coat, your mane. Besides, if her actual parents just left her outside like that, I don't think they should be allowed to have foals anymore." >"I wouldn't go that far, but... We do hope that we can't find her parents. We never had a foal of our own, but we have wanted one! We even thought of adopting." You rapidly shake your head *No! No! Not that one! Below it!* Blue seems to notice and hovers his hoof over the Whatchamacallit and you quickly nod your head *Yes! Yeeess! Yyyeeeeesssss!* The video is already playing in your head, you are M. Pony >"Well, I'd certainly call this adopting. And that'll be..." >"Wait!" It was Blue, HE HAD THE WHATCHAMACALLIT! "Don't forget this." >"Honey, do you really think we should get that for her?" >Blue shrugs, "I just can't say no to that face." >"Well, she can have it on me," said the cashier >"Oh, no, that's fine I can pay for it," said Orange >"No, it's on me. Call it a birthday present." >You were too focused on smiling at Blue to hear the rest of the conversation and you could feel your tail wagging on your own... Oh yeah, you have a tail now! How on Ear- Equestria did you forget that? >A tap on the back of your head brought you out of your trance and you turned to the side to see the cashier and that was about as far as you could turn >"And what do you say to the nice mare?" >"Thank you" More incoherent babbling >"Aww, no problem." She reached over and ruffled your mane >"You be good for these two, now, and you can consider the debt paid." >Best deal ever. >Orange and Blue put on some saddlebags, which you could only assume had whatever they bought inside of them, and you were returned to Blue's back and given the Whatchamacallit with the top opened >If you never pony squee'd before, you have now, even if you could only gum at the candy bar >That familiar taste was the best thing ever
