>You could sit here forever >Listen to this sound forever >The thump-thump is just so hypnotic >You lose track of time as each beat sounds just like the previous and the latter >And before you know it, you hear the creek of a door opening >"Honey! I'm home!" >You're far too content to stay here, but Orange makes the decision to go greet Blue for the both of you, quickly hopping off the couch and placing you on her back before rushing to the door to hug Blue >"Hi dear! How was work?" >The two kiss and you groggily rub an eye, you may have not have actually been asleep but you might as well have been >"It was good, unfortunately we had go to off looking for some rain clouds for Ponyville but we eventually managed to find some  up North." >Ah, so Blue was a weather pony. That explains the lack of any uniform for work >"How were you two today?" >She smiles back at you as though the two of you had robbed a bank and were under police interrogation before looking back to Blue >"We had fun." >"Oh? Well I hope it wasn't too much fun, or else I'd have to find someone else to give these to," he says teasingly before drawing forth three tickets >The text is too far to read, but Orange is quick to tell you what they are >"The Wonderbolts?! But... But how? Don't you have work tomorrow?" >"The boss gave 'em to me and told me to take the day off, said it was cheaper than giving me a delayed paternal leave." >Orange hugs Blue tight and he hugs her back, taking the opportunity to give your forehead a kiss >"That's wonderful!" >She turns back to you and you can see just how happy she is >"Does Anny wanna go see the Wonderbolts tomorrow?" >Since Blue already had the tickets and they both looked at you as if seeing the Wonderbolts was the hypest shit, you smile and nod your head exaggeratedly to emphasize the point >As you watch Orange hug Blue tight again, you're glad that you're on her back, otherwise that would have been you getting the hug >And you're pretty sure a hug that tight would break your spine >Once the hug is finished, Orange starts hopping around the living room with you holding on for dear life and you start to question who the foal is in this house >She stops her hopping and grabs you off of her back, holding you up as she lays down >"We're gonna see the Wonderbolts, Anny! The Wonderbolts! I've wanted to see them since I was your age and now I doooooooooo!" >Oh God, she's squee'ing again >After that squee you start hearing the world like the beginning of Saving Private Ryan >You don't think you've ever heard anything as creepy as Blue laughing with your hearing like this >Orange pulls you down to her chest and hugs you, fortunately not tight enough to kill you but still pretty damned tight, and you can feel her hindlegs kicking at the air >Blue makes his way around and kisses her cheek >"I knew you'd be excited, but you might wanna let Anny go. Any longer like that and you might suffocate her." >Blue is now your knight in shining armor >Orange lets go of you and holds you up to him >"S-Sorry, it's just... The Wonderbolts! And even better, I get to see them with Anny!" >Blue takes you and Eskimo kisses you before holding you with a hoof while he sits on the floor next to the couch >You smile up at him and look over at Orange who seems to finally be calming down >"So.... D-Did you get any flyers up?" >He nods and pulls a white piece of paper out and hands it to her >"I did, and I got this for you." >She looks at the paper and starts laughing, holding it to her chest before leaning up and kissing you >"I can't believe I forgot this." >Your interest is now piqued and you start maneuvering your head as best you can to try and see what's on the other side of the paper >Orange notices your interest and turns the paper around and you see a picture of a padded blue foal trying to be crafty and avoid getting blinded by the camera's flash by peeking with one eye squinted open >How did you forget that? >Wait, more important, where was the other picture? >She did take two, you remember that now >Blue disrupts your train of thought >"So, how's about dinner?" >You hear a distant monster roaring but are quick to remember it's just your stomach, catching yourself before it startles you a second time today >He smiles down at you >"I think that's a yes from Anny." >Orange rolls off the couch and starts off towards the kitchen >"Right, I'll get dinner, can you prep Anny's bottle?" >Blue makes for the kitchen behind her >"Sure thing." >While the prospect of filling your stomach is great and all, you can already foresee developing a hatred of milk by the time you're two >You're placed on the table to free up Blue's hooves while he grabs the bottle from the fridge and starts warming it up over the stove >As is typical for these moments where you're just waiting for something to happen, you let your mind drift off but before you can reach Enlightenment, Blue is back
