Roll 1d10 1-2 While fighting against House Stormwing, this Hero personally dueled a renowned Hoplite warrior and slew him in single combat.  The story of his duel is well-known throughout the legion and it inspires many of its members to great feats of valor. 3-4 In a battle against House Earthborn, this Hero refused to break formation and held the line in the face of overwhelming numbers, killing many foes and rallying his comrades at a desperate time.  Many within the legion credit the Hero’s actions for helping secure victory in that battle. 5-6 The Hero played a critical role in destroying a military force of House Whitegold that had been harassing the legion and attacking its supply lines for weeks.  Initially captured by Whitegold mercenaries, the Hero broke free of his bonds under the cover of night and led his comrades to the enemy camp, where the Whitegold force was slaughtered en masse. 7-8 The Hero, against all odds, was able to lead a squad of legionnaire soldiers in the midst of a daring raid against the Everfree Forest.  Confronted with fierce creatures and savage foes, the squad credits their survival and success largely to the Hero, and with the raid’s success the legion was able to deliver a humiliating blow to House Everfree. 9-10 If not for the Hero, the legion could have very well suffered a terrible fate at the hands of the Cult of Laughter.  The Hero recognized that the Cult had infiltrated the legion and was destroying it from within, and thus after rebuking the Cultists' offer to convert was able to find and kill the conspirators before their heresy could spread throughout the entire legion.   Friendship Roll 1d10 1-3 Guild of the Sun or Moon Thanks to a close relationship with their Guild patron, this legion has a larger complement of knights than most other legions and has more immediate access to the latest technological weapons developed by the guild in question. 4-6 The Inquisition The legion has a close relationship with the Inquisition and because of their mutual understanding, the Inquisition has attached a larger and better trained complement of their own battle priests to the legion.  Furthermore, the Inquisition is less likely to scrutinize members of the legion. 7-9 The Citizenry The legion is fairly well-known and well-liked amongst the Unicorn citizens of House Moon and Star.  Several Unicorn Supremacist groups support the legion on the home front, and Prince Shining Armor and Princess Cadence are willing to speak out on the legion’s behalf at times. 10 Archmagister Sparkle The legion has caught the attention and appreciation of Archmagister Sparkle herself.  While she can be both demanding and aloof at times, she is an immensely powerful ally and can provide the legion with all manner of recourses and assistance should the legion have need of it.   Enemy Roll 1d100 1-10 (Moon and Star) Roll on the Friendship table.  If Guild is rolled then the Guild your legion is not aligned with becomes your enemy.  Reroll on Friendship table if your previous original Friendship roll is rolled again here. 11-13 (Everfree) Her Watchful Eyes Tribe 14-16 (Everfree) Children of the Forest Tribe 17-19 (Everfree) Nature’s Fury Tribe 20-22 (Everfree) Bear’s Tooth Tribe 23-25 (Everfree) Old Oaks Tribe 26-28 (Everfree) Wild Roses Tribe 29-38 (Earthborn) Earthborn Regular Military 39-42 (Earthborn) Lightning’s Finest 43-46 (Earthborn) Buffalo Tribes 47-56 (Stormwing) Stormwing Regular Military 57-60 (Stormwing) Nhorse Warriors 61-64 (Stromwing) Griffon Expeditionary Force 65-74 (Whitegold) Whitegold Militia 75-78 (Whitegold) Whitegold Mercenaries 79-82 (Whitegold) Nighthooves 83-91 (Laughter) Major Cultist Cell 92-94 (Laughter) Jesters of Baltimare 95-97 (Laughter) Harlequines 98-100 (Laughter) Toymakers         Current Legions of House Moon and Star   Legion I   >Legion I is also known as "The Eye Legion". Originally composed mostly of pegasi, this Legion was wracked with infighting during the Canterlot riots, and became under-strength as a result. Nearly destroyed during the fighting for Stalliongrad, Legion I was reconstituted as a highly trained and elite force.   >Legion I's primary function is force reconnaissance and safe-guarding high-value M&S members. However, the Legion is most often used as a tool for the Inquisition.   Legion II   >Not Made. Should be a pre-ED Legion that Celestia kept around.   Legion III   >Not Made. Should be the very first Moon and Star Legion made on the house's own behalf. Should be a bit generic, but has an august history.   Legion IV   >Not Made. For the sake of Legion V's lore, this Legion should be the very first Sun Guild Legion, and have tactics and equipment that reflects this fact. Ideally should be very large, to form a contrast to Legion V.   Legion V   >Created in response to Legion IV, the 5th Legion serves the Moon Guild, and utterly embodies it. A small and precise force, the Legion specialises in Guerrilla warfare, operating deep behind enemy lines, and delivering precise, but potent attacks.   >The darkly clad 5th Legion has a bitter rivalry with the gleaming 4th Legion, but the Legion's greatest enemy is Whitegold's Mercenaries. Since Legion V is incredibly discreet, Twilight Sparkle prefers to combat her intrigues with this Legion. Battles between paid Whitegold mercenaries and Legion V are usually low-key, but both sides furiously deny accountability.   Legion VI >Not Made   Legion VII >Not Made   Legion VIII >Not Made   Legion IX >Not Made   Legion X >Not Made   Legion XI >"Blaze Guards" Created recently as a Garrison force to defend M&S cities, Legion XI is well known for it's use of Knights of Celestia who hold the line while sun cannons and Marksmages rain the wrath of the sun upon their enemies. Led by Inquisitor Star Blaze, this legion has won the love and admiration of the common folk, and are seen as an unbreakable defense against the constant raids of Stormwing and Whitegold attacks.   Legion XII and Beyond.   >Free for taking. Should be created years after M&S founding, though.     CREATED, BUT NOT SPECIFIED LEGIONS   >Old Legion specializing in Psychological warfare, and is hated by The Cult. Affiliated with the Moon Guild.(This is Legion II material)   >A new Legion that is primarily defensive in nature, and is affiliated with the Sun Guild. It's loyalty to the citizenry, and it's disfavored status with the Inquisition makes this Legion suspect   >A new Legion, that specializes in Urban combat, and is stationed in Stalliongrad. Has taken severe casualties in fighting with Stormwing, but a Slave warrior became a hero and slew a Pegasus of major importance. This Slave hero has endeared the Legion to the Citizenry.
