AltG2 Session 12 OP   Bang and Rushin' The two of you stand in the lair of Old Grand, the Lich of Dockside, where he offers you the mission of routing the nearby bat dragons out of their lair, so that he may slay their father dragon and help secure peace for Dockside, in exchange for him willingly giving his life, so that they may satisfy the Overlich Skullheart's requirement to slay all liches and send them back to their home world.   "Unless there are any other questions to ask, I can go ahead with the briefing," he says, sitting in his chair, leaning to the side and resting his beak on his metal fist.   "There are four floors to the dragons' lair. The top floor is where they sleep. Since it's daytime, they're sleeping now, and will be for several more hours. That is above the ground floor, which is their great hall and leads to the front door. The third and fourth floors, we're not sure about, since we've never been able to get in that far, but we believe that the bottom floor is where Gothradon's lair and horde is."   "The goal will be to blow them up and smoke them out. There's a witch in town named Old Hag Murrow, she will be able to give you the explosives. When the bombs go off, the dragons will be trying to get out, or dig in, in which case the militia will be able to block their exit, or keep them locked in. Gothradon will fly out through the secret exit that we know he has, but haven't found yet, in order to attack the militia, upon which I will fly out and do battle with him."   "The important thing right now is the method of entrance and opposition inside. The bat-dragons employ kobolds- small draconic creatures. They guard the front door, and assumedly patroll the inside as well. The front door is at the base of the mountains, south and to the east of Dockside. There's another entrance, on the edge of the lake, where they bring in their supplies and food. They only open it up at night, but it might be worth it trying to open it up and trying to avoid conflict."   "Any questions?"   Minty and Violet There's a gentle, cool breeze coming in from the lake. You're the only ones at the lighthouse right now, besides the docent and guard down at the entrance.   As you stand around and do what you feel like, your shadows start to grow larger- not longer, but larger, proportionately. The steel surface they're cast upon becomes smooth, losing their texture, and start to bubble. Eight needlepoint legs start rising out from the floor, bending at sharp angles, and start lifting up out of the floor. Atop the legs is a small steel cauldron with a bat's face facing towards you. A purple smoke starts to pour out of it, some of it falling to the floor, while the rest flows upwards. A face appears in the smoke- sleek, slender, and feminine, with almond-shaped eyes and a long mane. "Good morning," she says, "To whom do I have the pleasure of speaking to?"   Flicker and Bonnie Inside the library, things are quiet and cozy. However, Bonnie feels a twitching sensation in her eye, as if a vein was throbbing stressfully. Her mouth then moves involuntarily, as a deep voice speaks with her mouth. "Pray tell, child, what are you doing?" It asks. It doesn't say anything else, yet, as if waiting for an answer.
