Atop the Hotbase mountain, inside the abbey wherein the Titan-worshipping ogres live, Bang, Flicker, Rushin', and Violet have encountered the Frost Lich inside the observatory. After Flicker blasts him into 'his own' piano, the lich rants for a while, before turning to face the party properly. He points at each of them, counting them out before throwing his hands up. "You know what, no, no, I'm not dealing with this," he says, "All I want to do is live a comfortable life being tended to by mind-controlled slaves, and this does NOT fit into what I want." That being said, he walks over to a fainting couch, putting the back of his hand on his forehead and gracefully lying down. "This will be the last I see of you," he says, closing his eyes and turning his face away from the party, "I hope you die terribly." With that being said, he brings his hand up in an arc, causing a dome-like shield made of ice to cover himself and the couch.
 
From inside the hallway, the door to the storage room opens, and out come shuffling four of the blue-skinned, mind-controlled ogres. They don't look undead, yet, just worn out, underfed, and weak. Nevertheless, you never know what the weak can be capable of.
 
Meanwhile, Bonnie and Minty are outside the priory with Rad and Gyorgi, as two ogres who had come to check for trouble walk back up the slope to the priory doors. Rad's chattering his teeth as he's hugging the himself under the cloak the pot-making ogress had given the group, as Gyorgi flicks the slowly forming icicles off his ears.
