When I look in the mirror, I don't see a man. Someone who's charming, Funny, Sensitive, Kind, Full of life.   I see a kid. A boy, who's scars on his arms And scars on his soul Twist together to for that permanent smile on his face.   A boy struggling to stay afloat When he can't even swim. As the whole world tells him to let go, “Drown your sorrows and drown yourself You aren't worth the space you take up.”   Splash   You can't see it. All you know is that guy. Who never sheds a tear. Never shows his fear. Never cries when anyone can hear. Always laughs away the pain. Stands in the rain To hide the streaks, running down his cheeks.   That's what you can't know, But that's who I am.
