>Twilight Sparkle was getting annoyed. >That was putting it lightly, anyway. >She was back in the Crystal Palace for a family visit. >It was both good to actually get away for a few days, a mini-vacation if you will. >Her friends came with her, because they were acting like the princess' own bodyguards. >They were doing a terrible job, Twilight mused from her bed. >Not exactly their fault, to be fair. >Twilight thought she didn't need bodyguards, and had told them to go have fun instead. >The mare had felt literal steam coming from her ears now. >All because of one. >Pesky. >Stallion. >This stallion from before she went through the mirror...Flash Sentry, as he reintroduced himself. >Honestly, she hadn't remembered him. >He had been following her around all day, asking if she needed help with even the smallest of tasks. >"Oh, Princess, do you need help with that box of cereal?" >"Do you need help down the stairs? How about up them?" >Twilight had even flown to try and get away. >Flash was right there, coaching her on how to beat her wings. >...which had promptly made the mare self-conscious and screw up, plummeting to the ground before being caught by the very pegasus that caused this! >Thinking about it now? Angry didn't describe it. >He was currently 'standing guard' by her door. >She hadn't told him to do that, despite what he tells every being that passes that door. >It was late, judging by the number of lights that were going out all throughout the palace. >Only Shining and Cadance's room was still lit, and only because they were still out and about the town. >Her door clicked open, and a beam of light lit her face before quickly cutting off as the door shut. >Twilight bolted upright. "Flash?" She asked, eyes narrowed. >Her horn lit up, and she moved aside a desk. >Nothing. >Shrugging her wings, a habit she had picked up from Dash, she turned to go back to fuming. >Flash was there, at the side of her bed. >She would have screamed, had his orange wing not clamped her mouth shut. >"Now now, Princess. Wouldn't do to scream." >Now Twilight was furious. >"You've been denying my advances all day. Can't you see, we were meant for each other?" >What? >"I think of us together all day and night, ever since we met." >He turned his head and closed his eyes. >"You were moaning a name last night, I heard it. So...heh, magical..." >The mare didn't quite recall that. >Twilight's horn lit up, unnoticed by the pegasus currently in dreamland. >The full fury of an Alicorn struck him, shoving him *through* the door and into the hallway. >The door had been split when the frail pegasus hit it, and there were splinters in his face and neck. >Flash stood again, bleeding freely. >"We belong together~!" >He lunged at her, when Twilight simply froze him in place. >She brought him closer, and he became...erect, much to the mare's disgust. "Let's make this very, VERY clear, Flash." >She slammed him into the wall. "You don't know me." >Once more. "You don't know what I do." >Again. "And you sure as Tartarus don't have a chance with me." >With that, a devious smirk crossed Twilight's face. >Holding Flash in that telekinetic grip, she pulled up a quill and paper. "A self-solving problem." >Seeing movement in Shining's room, she scribbled 'This Guard tried to rape me - Twily" >She then lifted Flash's helmet, stuck the note under it, and teleported HIM into their room. >Twilight heard the uproar all the way in her room, chuckling to herself as she finally went to bed peacefully.
