>You are a fluffy pony. >You are happy and running around the new place you found. >It is a glade, there are pretty flowers blooming and a waterfall filling a stream. >The sun is shining down warming your fluff and the spray from the waterfall makes the air taste fresh. >The surrounding trees gently rustle in the breeze. >You have eaten your fill of the fresh tasty nummies and have taken up a game of chase a tail. >You giggle as you go round and round. >You almost had it yesterday, you know you’ll get it today! >Your happy little game is interrupted by a shadow that passes over you. >You didn’t get a good look at it, all you saw was the shadow of large wings. >You know the birdie monsters eat your kind. >You look around and see a clump of grass nearby with lots of flower heads. >It is a great hiding place, you run over to it as fast as possible. >You get on your belly and shuffle under the foliage and lay still looking out over the glade. >The shadow passes over a few more times. >Did it see you? >You are too scared to leave your hiding spot. >You listen but all you hear is the rustling trees and the gentle sound of the water falling and flowing down stream. >You are about to chance sneaking out of the grass when something falls from the sky. >It lands in the middle of the glade in a blur. >It hits so hard the ground shakes, the sound of the landing echoes through the woods. >You cover your eyes in fear trying hard not to whine. >You have no idea what monster just landed but you don’t want it to know you’re here. >You hear it walking around and you hear the clops of hooves. >You hazard a glance to see what terror has arrived and gasp at what you see. >It is the most beautiful pony you have ever seen. >She is large and white, her hair flows off to the side with pretty colors and full of sparklies. >She has a mark on her side that looks like the big bright ball in the sky. >She has wingies… AND a horn! >You want to run out to her, to meet this wonderful looking pony, to be friends with her, but your fear stops you. >You just lay and watch as she walks around. >She walks to the waterfall and sticks her head in it drinking of the fresh water. >She then walks under it letting the water cascade over her body. >She steps out and expands her wings throwing a spray across the glade creating a shimmering rainbow. >You stare with a wide smile on your face, the colors are so pretty. >She walks to a grassy place not too far away from you and lies down. >She sniffs a colorful flower bloom then eats it. >She looks around, her face down and a frown on her face. >”Some days are harder than others…” >She seems to be talking to herself, “How long has it been?” >”The years… the millennia… they roll by.” >”The friends I’ve had are dead, the ones I make will die…” >”The letters are nice, but I know one day they will stop just like so many times before.” >She jumps up and spreads her wings, her presence almost amplifying filling the area. >”My subjects though need to be inspired! They look to me to be regal and to be everything they want in a ruler!” >She places her wings to her side and holds her head up high, “When they see me… They see Equestria!” >The ground shakes with her voice as she holds the pose for a moment. >She then lies back down, “But how many realize or even wonder how Equestria was made.” >She absentmindedly swats at a blade of grass, “Equestria didn’t tame itself.” >”The blood I’ve seen”, she glances at her hooves and horn, “The blood I’ve spilled.” >”I even had to banish my own sister.” >”I’ve had to do some bad horrible things to keep Equestria out of war.” >”A thousand years of peace comes at a price.” >”And living forever gives you time, time to think of that price…” >”Time to think of regrets, time to remember those who have gone.” >”Sometimes I have to get away from it all… some days are just harder… harder than others.” >She stares off at nothing in particular, a frown adorning her face. >You stare at this magnificent pony. >It saddens you that she isn’t smiling nor seems happy. >You forget any danger and burst forth from the grass running toward her. >She looks down at you as you waddle toward her, “Oh, I didn’t know you were here.” >You grab her neck and hug her, “Dun be saddies, fwuffy gif nice pone huggies.” >”Huggies make nice pone happy!” >She looks down surprised at your efforts to cheer her up, “I’m sorry, I thought I was alone.” >She stands up, “I didn’t want to trouble any other pony with my problems. I am sorry to trouble you little one.” >”Nuuu! Fwuffy wan make pwetty pone happy! Nuu twouble gif huggies.” >”Well that’s not what I … nevermind. I will leave you alone, I must return to my castle.” >”Dat make nice pone sad.. why do saddie tings?” >Her warm smile brightens your heart, “No, it doesn’t make me sad. I like when I see my subjects smiling.” >”But sometimes even a princess gets to feeling down.” >Suddenly her flowing hair comes down and engulfs you rolling you on your back. >It starts to vigorously rub your ribs and the bottom of your hooves making you giggle so hard your entire body wiggles. >Her hair leaves you feeling breathless, you lay huffing and giggle as it retracts. >”But you have cheered me up this day little one, thank you.” She smiles and gives a small bow. >You jump up, “Yay! Fwuffy am gud fwuffy! Make pwetty pone happy!” >”I must go now, enjoy your day in peace.” She spreads her wing and sparklies fly out all over the glade. >She flaps her wings and takes off. >You would wonder if you will see her again, but you are too distracted by the fresh flowers and delicious green grass that just grew. >You’ll have nummies for weeks! >There is only one thing left to do… >Today you will get your tail! >You continue your game of chase a tail feeling like a good fluffy.
