>Nightfall >Ponyville is desert again >You decide to leave your house and search for food. >You don’t have much money, so you get some apples at the Sweet Apple acres. >You really feel guilty about stealing, so you just get enough apples to survive. >Even if you had any money, it’s not like you can just face other ponies. >It’s very hard being a bat-pony in Ponyville, but you don’t regret leaving Hollow Shades. >Even through you were surrounded by bat-ponies, you were still alone. >You were always quiet and a bit shy, other ponies always bullied you because of that. >However, some of them seemed to be cool. >Aux should know how you feel, but at least he has Hekesuh as a friend. >It would be nice to be their friends, but you were a bit introverted, so you gave up on the idea. >But one day you decided your life had to change. >You left hollow shades and decided to move to Ponyville for a fresh start.   >And what a start. >The city was deserted. >Everything was closed. >But you could see them looking through the windows. >They are afraid of you. >After that “Warm reception” you decided it would be better to leave. >You couldn't go back to hollow shades, you knew that. >While wandering around you found a small abandoned wooden shack. >It was old and falling apart... >Inside there was just some shelves and rusted old tools. >The wood was rotten and there was a lot of dust. >But it would have to do for now. >You got rid of the tools and cleaned what you could. >It was not big or good looking, but with some work it became an acceptable place to live. >Suddenly you think about your parents, your old house. >But It’s not like they even care. >I mean.. They didn't even bothered picking you a good name. >Crimson Drop? >Totally unoriginal. >You hated Red. >Well, you do hate yourself. >Maybe that’s why you hate Red, to begin with.   >But self-pity won’t take you anywhere. >You never really cared about them either.   >The days were pretty boring.   >Slept all day and, at night, you read some books and look for food. >Thankfully you remembered to bring your book collection from Hollow Shades. >You loved reading. >That’s how you earned your cutiemark, a torn page. >Hopefully you can visit Ponyville library someday. >Well, if you don’t scare the whole town again.   >You also searched for old newspapers when you left your house at night. >In one of those, you read about something unbelievable. >A creature that came for another world. >A “human”. >His name was Anon, and he was living in Ponyville. >Not sure if you believe in that you decide that someday you should search for him. >He is new here, maybe he wouldn't mind the fact that you are a bat-pony. >Maybe he’s more left-out than you? >He was different, unlike anyone in Equestria. >It would be nice to meet him. >But it’s irrelevant for now. >Anyway, your days were pretty boring. >Usually you spend the whole day sleeping, that helps you to avoid people. >But if you wanted to meet anon, you would have to change that.   >One particular day you went to the Sweet Apple Acres to grab something to eat. >Someday you must find a way to repay it. >You eat some apples, but decide it’s too early to go back home, so you just sit in a branch and grab another apple. >You grab a book from your saddle and start reading. >A lot certainly have happened in these past few weeks. >There is just too much in your mind, and you barely slept yesterday. >You keep drifting in your thoughts, and you barely notice how heavy your eyelids are. >You fall asleep.   > You are Anon   >Your life has been a mess, and you are still adapting to Equestria. >At least you already have a job in the sweet apple acres. >It’s a pretty simple job, actually. You just help picking apples. >You aren't strong as Applejack or Big mac, so you have to pick them one by one. >You wonder why they gave you this job, anyway. >Pity? Or maybe just to help you? >You don’t know. >But you always try to make yourself useful. >To get some apples that are pretty high, you pull a branch. >Suddenly, something heavy falls to your head, and you fall as you lose balance. >On top of you is a pony with light gray coat, reddish brown mane and dark brown eyes. >And fangs. >And leathery wings. >Holy batman. >You scream out of shock and he flew away. >What the fuck just happened?   >You are Crimson   >You just fell on top of Anon and scared the shit out of him. >And you are flying back to you house as fast as you can. >His yelling really scared you too, but it was your fault. >You must apologize someday. >You decided to sneak to Ponyville around dusk to search for him. >“Stalking” him would be more accurate..   >You know that you really shouldn't do that, but you still didn't have the courage to be seen in Ponyville. >At least for now. >You had noticed that Anon has left his house at night to drink.   >Maybe that would be a good opportunity to meet him.   >Not to mention that it’s been a long time since you had anything to drink. >And the cider from here was pretty famous.   >You made sure that he doesn't see you, but as sneaky as you were, you was spotted by some ponies. >You flew away quickly, so there was no commotion.   >And just a few ponies seen you, could been worse. >Turns out that was not a bad thing. >They even made a newspaper article about bat-ponies because of the rumor. >It was interesting, explained a lot about your kind, about the fact not all of us drink blood and usually aren't dangerous. >Maybe they won’t be afraid anymore? >Who knows? >Can’t know if you don’t try.   >You enter Ponyville. >You pass anon house on the way, and it’s all dark. >He should be in the bar. >There are many ponies in the city, many looking at you. >Curious, and scared. >Paying no attention to them you enter the bar. >Surprisingly, no screaming, running or houses suddenly burning without any logical explanation. >They don’t really seem comfortable with your presence, but at least they don't make a fuss about it. >It was just as you expected. >It was a big place, with many round tables with a couple of lamps providing a dim light, and a big counter. >There were ponies singing, drunken brawls.. >Anon is here, looking at you. >No, you can’t go talk to him now. It’s better to get some liquid courage. >You grab a seat near the counter, and ask for some cider. >The clerk gets you a cider, and the two of you talk a bit. >That eases the mood a little. >And the cider is delicious! >You are glad you kept some spare bits from when you left Hollow Shades. >Anon just got up. >You had waited all this time to meet him, and now he was already leaving the bar. >It was a surprise to realize he wasn't walking to the door, but to you. >”Mind if I sit here?” “Not at all. “   >Somehow, you manage to keep the spaghetti level to a minimum. “So, you are Anon. I've read about you in the newspaper. Liking Equestria so far?” >”Still adapting. Things are very different around here. Being the only human here doesn't help either.” >He laughs, but you can see sadness in his eyes. >”And you are?” >You forgot to introduce yourself. >Idiot. “My Name is Crimson Drop. I've moved to Ponyville some time ago.  But I am a bat-pony, and people around here were a bit scared at first, so I don’t get out much.” >”Yeah, I've never seen you around here. Except that day at the sweet apple acres...” >You blush and ask for another cider. >You explained to him what happened that day and decided to apologize. >But he wasn't mad at you or anything.   >The two of you spent a lot of time drinking and chatting. >Anon is pretty cool. >But something bothered you. >Many ponies were talking to him, they seem to look like.. >Friends? >They kept on asking about a lot of things. >Well, some even talked to you. >Maybe seeing you chatting with anon made them think that you are not dangerous. >But that was really unfair.   >For being different, you were treated as a monster. >Him? >Almost a celebrity. >He has all those friends. >Why would he need you anyway? >Maybe it’s because you were always a bit emotive, or you are just way too drunk, but you are really sad and you think you should leave. >You put the cash at the counter and leave.   >You are Anon   >And this is pissing you off. >Every time you bump into someone who doesn't know you, they come with an avalanche of questions. >About humans, earth, always the same stuff. >Don’t even get me started on Lyra obsession with hands... >You hated being the center of attention. >They’re all annoying. >Except Berry Punch, she’s cool. >She is always around here, and the two of you always chat a lot. >And you just met Crimson Drop, he’s just adorable. >You look at Crimson, he seems very sad. >He leaves some cash at the counter and walk out of the bar without saying a word. >Why did he left like that? >Did you say something wrong? >You remember about everything he said about his life, about those last days.. >He shouldn't be alone. >And he was very drunk, you really should check if he is okay. >You weren't sober either, but you were used to it.   >You pay for the drinks and leave to search for him.   >You walk a bit and find him, sitting below a tree, sobbing. >You sit by his side, and as he notices you, he uses his mane to cover his eyes, full of tears. ”Is everything okay?” >Obviously it was not. >He was drunk, crying in the streets in the middle of the night. >And you were shocked as he opened up to you. >”You are popular, Anon. You have a lot of friends. I have nopony, and really hoped that we could be friends. ” >”But I understand if you don’t want that.” >He was completely drunk, you could see that.   >So, he thought you actually enjoy all that attention? >They were no friends, they couldn't care less about you.   >Berry Punch, Applejack and Big Mac were the closest thing you have to friends around here, since you see them on a daily basis. >Hell, not even on earth you have many friends. >You put your hands on his face and make him look at you, and you explain everything. >Pushing him closer you hug him, and wait for him to stop crying. >You don’t know why, but you cared deeply about him. >Maybe it’s because you know how he feels.   >A couple of minutes later, he stops crying, and you noticed he fell asleep. >You have no words to describe how cute that is. >You realize you don’t know exactly where he leave. >After some thought, you decided to bring him to your home.   >It was hard, but you managed to reach your house without faceplanting. >You look around. It wasn't a big house, but it was comfy. >You lay him on your bed on your bad and cover him in blankets. >You make your way to the sofa. >There isn't TV’s on equestria, and nobody came to visit your house, but you decided to buy a sofa anyway. >It was useful when you get drunk and can’t reach the bedroom. >It’s not like you have much to do with your money, anyway. >You throw yourself on the sofa and close your eyes. >And you have that familiar sensation, everything is spinning.   >You smile while thinking about all that happened, and slowly fall asleep.
