>Hours have passed since boarding this boat to Ratchet. >Looking outside your tiny ass window you watch water bob up and down as lightning strikes. >A sickening crack heard moves you to the door to check on your elders. >As the newest member of the order and peacekeeper for the factions you took to staying on the good sides of those above you. >Holding the wall as you pass a male Nightelf rushing by. >Screams can be heard coming from behind you. >Letting curiosity win this time you follow the Nightelf up the boat. >Rain is pouring down as the top is popped open, climbing out you watch the Nightelf pull a rifle out of nowhere and begin firing at something in the sky. >Closing the hatch you look to the sky to find a huge black dragon hurling lightning balls at the ships nearby. >Readying yourself for battle you toss a few quick healing spells to those who look to need it and move to the offensive, letting lose a barrage of magical green energy and stored up moon energy. >Standing near the bow as you let loose everything to send the creature fleeing. It looks back at your ship. >Letting loose a stunning roar, it passes through you locking your bones as you fall helplessly onto the boat. >Lightning is seen overhead as another bone shaking roar is let loose at your ship. >This one felt different in that the ship is now falling down some black abyss. >Watching the sky disappear into darkness the dragons spell letting up you change into bird form to get a peak around.   ---     >What a mistake you have made, moving yourself away from the boat hurls you a different direction from it. >Away from the sky. >Watching the darkness close over your once only light in the distance really puts thoughts in your head. >Following the Nightelf to see what's going on then rushing into battle. >You made the mistake your elders always told you to avoid. >'Do not. I repeat do not rush into battle with out a good reason' rings through your head. >Apparently seeing an enemy isn't good enough reason to defend those around you. >As you drift through this empty nothingness, a pull at your mind to sleep scares you. >Shifting to human form you check what's on you. >Small bag, full of mage biscuits. Good. >Some healing and mana potions. Not bad. >Staff of Beasts attached to your back, not bad. >Bandages. Good? Maybe. >Checking your backpack you find some random clumps of dust and engineering do-dads. >Alright goblin rocket boots and goblin rocket launcher! >Looking for your other bags proves worthless. >'Must of left them in the room' you think to yourself. >The thought of sleep pulls at your mind again. Much stronger than the last. >Having trouble keeping your eyelids open you comply   ---   "uuuugh my head" >Pulling your arm from under your back you rub your head >Opening your eyes reveals your worst enemy. >The sun. >In all its glory just shining in your eyes blinding the shit out of you. "I hate you sun." >Rolling over you find yourself in a field. "This isn't a beach" >Looking around you see a town far off in the distance but it looks nothing like an Alliance town. "Best to avoid if its Horde." >Behind you is a forest that seems to reach from two mountains that close around the town. "Maybe I could fly over? No this looks like nowhere I have been. Fly around the town maybe? That's a good idea." >Shifting to bird form you take some flaps and begin soaring above the forest's edge to the mountain on the left. >'Man elders are going to be pissed. Why is this place so colorful?' >The forest rolls under you slowly. >Stomach growling causes you to perch on a nearby tree and shift back. >Carefully sitting yourself onto a stronger branch you pull out a piece of mage bread and take a bite. "Whatever reason these are still here im confused" crumbs spew everywhere. >'Don't talk with your mouth full' rings through your head. >With a chew and swallow you feel better. Not questioning the bread you take a look over the distance you crossed "Not bad could have gone fasteaahhhh"   ---   >A black creature pounces on you from behind causing both of you to crash through the trees branches breaking most of them on the way down. >Landing with a painful thud you hear buzzing from above you. >Looking up at the black creature shows two bug like wings flapping about which explains the buzzing. >Two dark blue eyes and holes in its legs. >It's about as big as a dwarf if not smaller. >Also lets not forget the teeth it's baring as it closes in. >Rolling out of the way as you shift to cat form. >It hits the ground but bounces back launching it self at you with a hiss. >Batting it with the swipe of your paw it goes flying into a tree. >Checking your surroundings slowly but keeping an eye on it. >Seems you fell pretty far. Your shoulders and back feel it. >The buzzing starts again as it flies toward you with such speed. >Attempting to swipe at it you miss receiving a bite to the shoulder. >It pulls you to the ground as you attempt to claw at it again. >Noticing its hind leg you dig your teeth into it and pull back causing it to release a shriek of pain. >Gaining this advantage you push in pinning it to the ground with a paw. >Digging claws in as you place yourself over what seems to be its head you sink your teeth into its neck. >Squeezing with all your might you are rewarded with an even louder shriek followed by a satisfying crack of its neck >Relaxing as you let go of the creature.   ---   >The need for water becomes clear as its greenish blood stains your claws and fangs dripping off with an utterly disgusting taste >Letting go of primal reactions to take a look around. >Stumbling toward a tree you lean against it for a bit before pushing off. >'What ever that creature was is annoying And disgusting looking.' >Remembering where the open part of the forest is you choose to stay in cat form to be stealthy. >No point letting the wild life or demon spawn what ever that is catch you again. >Running through the forest you trip up a few times on your paws but keep going. >'Why don't I ever bring a canteen with me, why did I pass up the mage water' >Reaching the clearing you look around to see a small cottage with a river. >Trudging over slowly now with a limp in your right shoulder. >Reaching the river you look down remembering you're in cat form. >Remembering your human form you attempt to change back. >No bone shifting happens... no puff of smoke from nowhere... >'Umm don't think the fight took that much out of me.' >Tossing aside worry to get water first you dip your face down attempting to mimic what you have seen house cats do. >It some what works but it makes you feel painfully retarded >'Fuck it' >Diving straight in the cool fresh water filling your mouth as you float back up. >Doggy paddling to the edge you go to pull yourself out.   ---   >This proves difficult as you can't seem to get a grip onto the ground. >You're also having a hard time staying afloat. >Trying to shift back is proving effortless. >The primal urges kick in as you begin to cry out with a death curdling scream. >Fighting against the water till you can't bring your head up. >The river takes you where it pleases now in its painfully slow pace. >Unable to move your body as you inhale water. >Sliding against the bottom of the river your mind begins to wander. >'So this is it. I die as a cat in water. I had no trouble swimming before. Why now?' >As your reaction to breathe kicks in instead you are not met with more water. >Opening your eyes reveals a purple bubble surrounding you. >Still choking on water as the bubble lifts you out onto the lake. >Vision blurry as you land on the grass a force on your stomach causes you to throw up what you have recently eaten and water. >'oh look some blood too...' >"Calm down big guy it will be ok. Twilight can you carry him to my house?" >'Oh voices... where's all the light going..'   ---   >"But what do you think it is Twilight? It's not a lion." >Groggy you open your eyes to find yourself bundled up in a blanket. And quite warm. >Another voice catches your attention. >"I don't know. The bite marks look serious." >Looking around you find two miniature horses looking back at you. >"Oh hes awake" the yellow one with a pink mane and tail says with a soft voice. >'The fuck the horse talked' >"Be careful fluttershy. It may be dangerous" the purple one with a horn looking at you scared >'What... no this is just a bad trip. Something in the water.... speaking of water I'm thirsty' >Trying to change back proves useless. Looking around as you wobble up >"Hey now. Not too fast big guy" >The yellow one gets in your face trying to push you back down. >Panting now as you look around until you see what looks to be a kitchen across the room. >Limping over there as pain shoots through your shoulder the yellow one keeps trying to stop you. >"H-hey now. Nice warm bed over there." >"I don't think he wants to lay down fluttershy" >'GOOD THE PURPLE ONE GETS IT. WHERE THE FUCK AM I?' >Walking into the kitchen you see a sink. Just what you needed. >Slowly you reach it. Oh boy hard part. >Sitting on your back legs you put the front paws up and lift till you are standing. >'fucking turn knobs on the sink?! REALLY' >Letting a growl go causing some noise behind you. >Dismissing it as you paw at the knob.   ---   >Slowly it turns. The faucet starts to drip. >'Yessss YESSSS' Echos in your head. >Another swipe it goes much easier letting loose the dam. >Dipping your head under the water to cool off you begin drinking whatever falls in your open maw. >After getting more than enough you slide off the counter and to the floor. >'Oh look. The yellow horse is flying.... It has wings?!' >This shocking realization as it hover's over you so carefully and shuts the water off. >"Awww the big guy was just thirsty." >"Ummm fluttershy. How did it know how a sink works?" >"Well that's obvious Twilight he's smart" she smiles with a squee. >'Alright. Changing back. Have water. Now need to change' >A growl is heard from you. >Not you but your stomach. >'Oh come on! I have mage bread in my bags... hopefully' >Attempting to change back you are met with the same result. Nothing. >Pushing all your effort into it. >'Fingers, Speech. Toes. Legs.' >Getting dizzy from putting effort into it. >Nothing. zip. zero. Head into floor knocking you out again.   ---   >Something poking and prodding you slowly wakes you. >Till a pressure is pushed onto your shoulder causing you to growl and swipe at who ever it is. >Through blurry eyes you can make out three figures. >The yellow and purple horse. >And now a new one. White with black stripes and gold around its neck and leg. >The new one boops you on the nose. >Unsure how to react you just sit there as it prods you rolling you around. >'It just fucking booped me... Why am I not eating horse now?' >"Zecora do you think you can" >"Shhh" its hoof reaching the purple ones mouth. >"A bite from a changeling can be quite poisonous. Let us put this on the wound so that the creature may recover over the night" >The hoof that was prodding around is now holding you down as something is hovered over you. >A burning sensation is felt as liquid is poured onto your shoulder. >Something binding your head down as you attempt to look, more so bite at the liquid. >Attempting to move was fruitless with so many hooves and things binding you down. >Releasing a growl and a hiss is all you are able to do. >"Are you sure this will help him Zecora?" >You cant see it but she nods as a bandage is wrapped around you now. >Too weak to do anything else till the pain causes you to black out again.   ---   >Coming to again as you feel the warmth of a blanket surrounding you. >Some how you are wrapped up in it. >After rolling around struggling with the blanket you are free. >And find yourself in a very cold basement... >Stretching like the cat you are you notice your shoulder feels much better. >Thankfully to cat eyes the darkness is easy to see through. >Following the little light from a door up some stairs you reach the door. >'This looks nothing like the first place I was in... Where am I exactly?' >Taking another look from your spot you see some lab equipment maybe and some beakers. >Oh boy even a bowl full of water and maybe that's food? >Stomach uses growl for food. >Well just because you are stuck in this form now doesn't mean you should eat like a peasant. More importantly where the fuck are you? >Placing your ear against the door to listen for sounds. >Some steps can be heard. >One light set and two heavier sets. >Taking a sniff at the door only gets you two scents though. >'Oh right. The small horses... soo maybe it's them?' >"Twilight I'm heading to Rarity's. She asked me to help dig for gems." echos through the door. >"Alright have fun." replies back fairly close to the door. >A door opening and closing later leaves you and who ever belongs to that voice.   ---   >'It's not as soft as the other one. Is it the one who booped me on the nose? What did the purple one do? Names? I know they said names but what were they? Oh wait cat form' >Trying to change back you are met with resistance this time. Not nothing. But resistance. >After forcing a bit you quit. Regaining senses that you are panting. >'Alright... what happened? Where am I exactly? Sure I can chill down here or I could just open the door and be a cool cat...' >The door opens in your train of thought revealing a purple horse with a horn coming from her head. Her mane has pink stripes in it. >"Ahhh" she lets loose >"You scared me. I didn't know you were awake sorry." >Height wise you are about the same now looking her in the eye. >Unsure how to act and not to cause trouble you give her space backing away considering she seemed to have helped you out. >"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" Shes talking with a much softer voice but not as soft as the other one. >'Bitch I am far from scared. I just want to be human again eat my mage bread and figure out where I am. Maybe get some gnome pussy' >Her horn glows as the light flicks on revealing the place. A book also flies into view floating in front of her with a purplish glow >'Interesting. Magic?' >She seems to be checking the book and looking at you.   ---   >"No they don't match. Not a tiger, or a lion. But the characteristics are there." >Sitting on her back legs she begins flipping through muttering to her self. >Eventually it reaches a point where you pull the book down and shake your head. >"H-hey I was reading that." >Carefully closing a book with a paw you walk past her. >'Time to figure out where I am.' >The tiny purple horse protests but doesn't stand in your way. >Walking into the next room you find yourself in a library. >Books on the walls. On the floor. So high up. >Taking note of how many scent's still linger in the air tells you it's a public library of the sorts. >The purple horse comes out with a blanket and two bowls floating over head. >Carefully setting them down in a corner she gives you a smile before closing the door. >"It's good you are feeling better. I'm sorry I have to keep you in the library till Fluttershy comes back. She didn't have the medicine to treat your bite." >Taking a look at your shoulder the wound is mostly healed. Still looks bad with the teeth marks. >'Gonna look like hell when I shift back... These horses are going to scream like hell to.' >"We had Zecora come over and treat you. Said it was Changeling bite so I told Princess Celesita of a new creature we found and it was found poisoned from Changelings." >'Black thing with holes in its legs was a Changeling. Interesting. Princess Celestia? Where am I?'   ---   >Recalling everything you just went through. >Fought a dragon, Got the ship caught in some spell the dragon shot out. >Fell off the boat as it was going through the spell... >Woke up in forest, flew for a bit and got ambushed. >Crushed the things neck and found a river, almost drowned. >Couldn't stay awake apparently because of poison while having trouble shifting. >Poison may have caused the problem. >'I don't remember this many books when I was getting water from the faucet... how do these horses have working water like that?' >Sighing to yourself you look for the purple horse who seemed to have vanished. >Quickly following the horses scent you find her at a table peering over books. >Taking a look at the books you can read them. >'Well this is odd. Same language is one thing but same writing?' >The book seems to be about animals and creatures. The one next is called 'creatures of myth' >Slowly she turns till shes staring at your eyes and jumps clutching her heart with a hoof. >"You scared me. Don't sneak up like that." >Moving to the side to give her space you keep looking at the books at the table. >One pops out at you >History of Equestria >'Oh boy. Sign language time in cat form... to another race that can talk...' >Mentally you prepare yourself for whats about to come.
