Ok. The island continent of Agaria "The Jade empire" where Emperor Diradin rules. It was named after the rare substance that it produces, and the type of dragon the Imperial family is said to hail from, and in the time of their rule there has only been 4 instances of calamity that have resulted in great casualty: The Red and Blue Dawns, The Conclave of Huo, and the Noble Uprising which is currently happening. The common folk are content to live out their lives as humble farmers and tradesmen for the most part. However the fated or restless decide to become adventurers like yourselves. As of the past two decades the lands have been torn with civil war and the lands stricken with all the maladies that accompany this. Farmers left with little to no food after their lords lay claim to their granaries, serfs become bandits and highwaymen to make ends meet, becoming a threat to their kin and others in the process, soldiers being recalled from smaller settlements in order to protect their Lord, wilds left unprotected for monsters to prowl. Merchants profiteering through other's misfortune. The list goes on. It is in this time that men and women find themselves forging fates by their own hand. The land at the current time has a race report of:   Humans(Prominent): Are a race who has founded numerous settlements and overwhelmed old ways races alike, though not all of them with Gnomes being an example, and have instated civilization and order in Agaria. Though Humankind is disposed to ambition and shortsightedness, which can bring chaos inadvertently. They can be found most anywhere sustainable to life, but are more at home among their towns and villages. Among the Cities there is a generally followed social structure of bowing to those with higher ability or station than you out of respect, and failure to meet the demand may result in a duel or a politically powerful enemy.   Dwarves(Slaves): Are a hearty race of small folk with a knack for anything to do with a hammer or stone. As such they end up being miners or Smiths of some variety, even being able to impress with their trade well enough to buy themselves out of slavery, with some stipulations however. Once they leave servitude they gravitate toward undiscovered veins of ores or even form themselves a Smithy to continue their crafts. However once in a while a Dwarf harshly slighted will seek vengeance on their wrong-doer, usually their master, and join a group of renegades or bandits to the chagrin of the local law force, for now their competition is well armed and armored. Hearing of the weapons smiths of the Red Oni Tribe some Dwarves will make a pilgrimage to their mountain to attempt form an apprenticeship with a Forgemaster.   Elves(Slaves): A people of grace and beauty who are renowned for their skills with bows as a weapon and as a piece of art, as well as turning wood into weapons or armor that could keep up with a dwarven piece any day. Some say that they d take your pantry door and make you a 3 piece suit of armor if you had the money for the craftsmen. They are mostly kept as slaves for their magnificent craftsmanship in any profession requiring dexterous hands as well as being coveted as bordello centerpieces due to their exquisite complexion and exoticism, it not being uncommon for a noble or even a Lord of the Empire to offer to purchase elves from local brothels but be turned down. as opposed to normal workers they are treated with care in these establishments. If they are seen outside of these circumstances they have likely gained freedom and may be encountered in a forest as a hunter or beast slayer, a swamp as a guide or scout of some sort. As the Dwarf is drawn to their cousins so too is the Elf drawn to the Blue Oni Tribe in search of improving their martial or professional bowyer prowess.   Gnomes(Rare): A race of elder folk that have been around Agaria since before humans can recall. They have been found as shamans to villages that hide away in hermitage or tinkers in cities proper that ply their trades to anyone willing to invest in their almost mad experimental undertakings. They are also lauded as a race of academicians able to speak the tongues of many old races lost, or current. Quite hard to find, but not impossible.   Red Oni(Uncommon/Rare): Are said to stand 2 men tall and have varying red colored skin, with two Gold horns coming from their heads which are adorned with shock white hair. They are a subrace of Ogre-kin that call the Misty Peak mountains their home, rarely leaving unless the season of fall comes when they battle the Blue Oni. Other information that is known of them is that they are exquisite weapon smiths who make Dwarven weapons look a candle to a bonfire, the ability to coat their weapons in Flame, and the muscle swelling rages they can induce in themselves. Those who are lucky enough to ever contact one must approach with extreme caution.   Blue Oni(Rare): Different entities from their cousins in the sense that they have instead of 2 horns and bulging muscles they have a more lithe toned figure with one silver horn sitting in the center of their forehead at least a foot long. They do possess a few similarities however. Their hair and height, as well as their skills as craftsmen, but they will only craft Armor, Bows, Arrows, and the Scimitar. A suit of armor from a Blue Oni is said to make Elven crafts worthless when weighed together. Like their cousins they also have a few special abilities, the ability to coat their weaponry in Ice for instance, as well as their impeccable speed and accuracy.    - The Batara-Kala -   Hono Seigi Level 20 - A Monk of great age, but impressive physique regardless. Formed the Batara-Kala over 300 years ago as a means to give purpose to the lost in the world, but has only managed to form a unit-for-hire which he tries to use for maintaining peace. His age is questionably mortal. He has approached Gojiro, The Wandering Wall, to join his group, but was turned down, and challenged him to a duel in order to forcibly initiate him, which he lost barely due to godly influence. He has also approached Sengeki the Manslayer and was refused because of their differing views on the world, and subsequently attacked Sengeki, with the latter being able to escape him to live another day.   Daigo Seki Level 15- A Reckless barbarian of a man that hails from an old extinct tribe. Seeks strong foes worthy of his axe, and saved Akahli from being sacrificed by her tribe, killed them all, and took her in as his ward. He wants to fight Hono but is constantly avoided by the old man or tricked to get out of combat. He is well known as a fight crazed madman whom ventures past the Valley Wall during the Warring Season of the Oni tribes for "Fun". If anyone should deal potentially lethal damage to Akahli he will decimate anything in his way to protect her, or kill her attacker.   Akahli, Vessel of Muu Level 12- Born to the Khagan people Akahli was to be a priestess of the old gods, but suddenly developed a knack for fire magics and went out of control with her powers, burning most of the tribe's sacred lands down in the process. She was offered to the Great Serpent to appease the old gods. Daigo saved her from the monster however. She is responsible for turning part of the Tengen Grassland into a Desert Plateau. She has been given the Seed soul of Muu, the God of Conflagrations, a servant to Asura the God of Chaos, and will steadily be overtaken by her flame powers until she is an avatar of Muu's Will.   Heian "Shade" Level 12- The Batara-Kala Spy Master. Once upon a time he was sent to assassinate Hono Seigi but was instead defeated then recruited. He uses his skills as a infiltration agent and stealth master to gather info of possible new allies or potential enemies to look for in the future. Ensures that nothing will endanger the safety of Yeoul or it's inhabitants.   Ohaku Level 12- A Beast-Master of impeccable quality, able to control 3 animals in unison with precision. She has a Roc (Ichi), a Wolf (San), and a Bison (Roku). She has a slight crush on Heian but will deny it and dodge the question. She is good friends with most people, a very likeable individual, but has a closer relation to Daigo and Akahli as if they were older siblings. She will fawn over her animals, or those of others, and can even get them to listen to her to some degree. If it is another's animal companion, then the animal is slightly divided in their choice, but will then stick with her master.   -  Deities  -   Tenyi, The Sunlord, A being of light and fire whom believes in the good in one's deepest heart, not the surface expressions of morality. He believes there is redemption for the worthy, but only utter annihilation for the wicked. At the end of every harvest season his followers give him thanks for not causing droughts and giving just enough sun. Most humans worship him due to his benevolent beliefs. His domain is the Light, and Life. He takes the form of an old bearded man in a beautiful golden robe of radiant light. Old wizened voice, gentle.   Hamedi The Unseen Lady, the Goddess that those who sneak and steal worship, as her night hides and steals away many things. She likewise holds sway over the domain of vengeance and receives prayers that accidental wrongdoings in the pursuit of revenge be forgiven on some level. Legends believe that a shadow deeper than any fathomable night sweeps over those whom have angered her and they are simply spirited away to never be seen again. Many speculate what her morality truly is. Her domains are the Death, and Trickery. She takes the form of an ivory-pale young woman clothed in a black tattered robe with a necklace of skulls accompanied by the scent of roses and orchids. Quiet, whispered British voice.   Gorman Forgemantle The Soul-forger, A Dwarven specific God that they believe crafts each soul within a being, and that each are made in the beginning pure and whole, and through wrongdoings, injustice, and over-reaching ambitions they will be tarnished and shattered, cast into the pile of failed works to never be looked upon by their god and left to damnation. Tradesmen don't seem to care about small white lies to feed their family, but try not to pursue too much greed or the local priest might absolve them of their license until they receive proper spiritual lessons. His domain is Craft and Life. His form is that of a stout mountain dwarf with a long wide beard that acts almost as a frontal cover of his torso, and he carried with him a luminescent blue hammer. Scottish Voice.   Songtai/, The Undaunted God of combat. Street duels, large scale war, even arm wrestling in some cases are under his domain, as one of two has been proven mightier in his eyes. Folks pray to him for strength or battle prowess in times before war. He has only one rule, and that is mercy to the worthy and deserving. His domains are War and Death. His form is that of a man in vicious plate armor with a veritable arsenal of weaponry on his back, covered in dripping blood. Deep, booming, demanding voice.   Altoa Windweaver, the Elven Goddess of the Hunt and storms. The Elves believe that each arrow or bolt hits it's mark upon the whim of their Goddess. She bestows upon them the winds of victory, and sometimes failure. The Elven race sees her will as all permeating and if she wishes an enemy or animal dead then your strike will find it's mark. Those who find themselves in her ill favor find their villages visited by massive typhoons and storms. Her domains are Nature and Tempest. She was depicted as a comely woman, even for Elf standards, who wore garments formed from the nature she lived in and had a longbow of a sable wood that could shoot razor winds at her foes. Eloquent gentle voice.   Rashazar/Sidious the Translucent, a God of the Arcane. He instills the ideal that one should be stronger than his peers, and in a way he has worked wonders for the Empire, giving them some of the most potent casters in Agaria, and Miru being the center of his largest group of worshipers within . His domains are Knowledge and Light. He takes the form of a gigantic, ghostly Imperial Dragon, long bodied and whiskered at the face, his body will shift color as if an aurora. Aku's Voice, but gentle.   Rakhash The Herald, God of revelry. Bards, bar owners, travelers, and those whom practice arts in any form worship this good for luck in their endeavors, the skill to be proven worthy of their talent, and for happiness in all things. Some hear that there is a secretive order belonging to his priesthood, but nobody knows why there would be such a thing when his worshipers are almost entirely comprised of prostitutes, sculptors, and drunkards. His domains are Life and Luck. He takes the form of a middle aged hooded man with a goatee who carries a lute and brandishes a mug high with a blade at his hip. Suave, lax voice.   Yagaar the Marred, God of the Red Oni. Red Oni Warpriests revere their God via His abandoned tetsubo, Vaidhatta, which they brand the back of young adults as a rite of passage to activate the elemental abilities latent in their race. Once every 100 years a Red Oni is born with a black mark on their body that symbolizes they are to be the next Warlord/Lady. They think they have been separated from their God due to Yesui sealing him into the form of a tetsubo, as she was the only force who could have opposed him so long ago. They have a matriarchal society where women will make the decisions while the men do manual labor and forging. That is not to say that there is animosity among the genders, however, as the males are a vital part of the community as well, and happy men mean happy women. Sometimes they let in other people from off-mountain if they are very adamant about their request, or they are invited. The current Warpriest Lord is Yai's Mother.   Yesui the Pure, Goddess of the Blue Oni. Blue Oni Sages revere their God in the form of Her dual scimitars, Dui Raja, which they use to score the palms of their kin as a rite of passage and free their latent elemental powers. Once every 100 years a Blue Oni is chosen from among their people and given specific, more intense and thorough, martial training in order to become the next Grandmaster Sage. They believe that the Red's God Yagaar slayed their Goddess and she sequestered herself away in her scimitar in order to remain with her people, but she has been ever silent. Their people have a light patriarchal society where men do most of the important decisions. Women are the center of their martial masters at the moment though, to the chagrin of some. They are visited by members of the off-mountain folks with requests to train them in smithing and combat, most but all are turned away, unless they can prove themselves against a gatekeeper, or have an invitation from a prominent Blue Oni.
