Born alongside Sparkle Sprinkle, Terrowin is the  - and this is heavily argued over as they appeared at the same time - 'Second' Flutterpony to make an appearance in Everglow and visit Viljatown, him and his sister's swarm dwelled in the Forest Of Dreams somewhere near the treeline facing the capital, like the majority of the Flutter swarms at the time. The two odd, charismatic Flutters eventually managed to convince the others to initiate a ritual that would let the entirety of the swarm congregate into  two pony sized flutters, one male, one female. The same ones that we know today, the overly enthusiastic Sparkle and the equally enthusiastic brother, Terrowin.
 
After minutes of arguing over which one of them was as pretty as the empress and which one was the sparkliest and after they has quickly exhausted themselves from laughing too much, the two still managed to depart for viljatown to have a closer look at the quirky and mono-colored ponies and their shiny pretty city.
 
The two would linger for the town two days at best, having been granted a brief audience with the empress, whom had decided to cordially invite them to the palace shortly after their arrival to the capital, and after a quick pub crawl and tour of the town under constant watch of the town guards before receiving hospitality in one of the inns on behalf of the town, for a few weeks at most enough to estabilish themselves if they wished, so they said at least. The reception from the other ponies was a it mixed, some were timid to approach them, mainly looking curious and murmuring while out of ear range, others casting sharp glances with more suspicious, leery looks that sidestepped away to get to the other side of the road, while another half was cheerful enough to give them a cheerful greeting and a wave, though, despite that, the two were a bit overwhelmed all of a sudden and at a loss of what to do, there was just so much to see... So much to do, it all seemed so simple back in the woods when they were't this involved, but at the same time it was also the most exciting thing ever!  
 
Eventually they were left alone by the unusual congregation of royal guards, captain and empress included, once they had gotten into their own rooms in the inn and left to their devices with a few tips and directions towards places of interest, shops, and the bulletin board. During the following two days they've had several run ins with seekers during their stay at the inn where they went around pestering the various patrons, sulky, busy or not, with questions and requests to sample their drinks "for science.", The seekers quickly set them on the path of adventurers after not even an hour of conversation, the moment they were shown a regional map they exploded with excitement, it was so big! So many places to see! What is that? And that, and that??... They were lended some coin to get started on the promise that they would have to earn their own and give it back before they left the town with the various small jobs in on the board, not the boring and safer ones either.  
 
They were terrible fighters and didn't have much patience for long laborious jobs much less the skillset, which made the search a bit restricted... But there were several jobs that required simply finding herbs in the forest of dreams or games of hide and seek... Flutter infestations and whatnot, and even a notice from a certain cat about hiring adventurers along a coast and woods in the south. With the help of the Seekers and with a bit of effort they would earn enough to pay off their debt and earn a small profit, alongside some general basic knowledge about the ponies they were now part of.
 
The notice from the cat setting up a colony in the south however still stood on the board mostly ignored by everyone else... A few goblins and such would be easy! Plus they would get to get closer to visiting that nice looking forest called; Everfreeze forest, without even remembering to ask about it to anyone who knew better...
 
Sparkle Sprinkle would rather stupidly and stubbornly depart from Viljatown first rather early in the morning while the brother still snoozed, he wanted to stay a while longer, it was nice there and the ponies were friendly, he hadn't finished his books! Even if the expedition would begin soon according to the notice, and her bags were already packed for the flight... Leaving him to linger around the seekers until the day after when he also departed to follow after the naive sister.
 
-- When Terrowin will arrive to meet the party as NPC he will quickly begin to offer allegiance with any of those who seek it, eager to help and excessively energetic for his own good, he can be included in a party as an extra, relatively low level, character if needed and can usually be found either with Sparkle Sprinkle on around the edge of the woods. The quest giver part wont be immediate, i have to work on that, but eventually he might also point adventurers in the direction of potential treasure heard from rumors, or on a more solemn note, towards swarms of Flutters that he needs help convincing... --
