People are generally good but also generally callow, irrational, and overly-sentimental. Moderates always get cucked by extremists. That's the issue here with the polarization seen.   Which is why the spectacle of Gamergaters complaining about people boycotting things.   For another example, this statement I am rather sympathetic to on this stream: "Fuck this Cuckstream. These ecelebs finally found their balls after WE won the election. Cancerous bullshit."   Let's not pretend the deracinated classically liberal society you people seemed to think existed back in the late 20th century isn't utopian. Literally never existed, it just seemed to exist in a superficial manner during a transitional period. Merit was always second to diversity, people who wanted less immigration (most people) didn't get their way, and Chuck Yeager actually had to put his foot down to stop the first black fighter pilot doing astronaut training from passing as he scored last in his class (but the government really wanted a black pilot). It has just boiled over now.   "Life is a joke," - person with highfalutin opinions   Daily reminder that the real reason Sargon tweeted gay porn was because he was losing an argument   https://twitter.com/ThaRightStuff/status/778689139315122176 https://twitter.com/ThaRightStuff/status/778701274040504321 https://twitter.com/ThaRightStuff/status/778697311874457604       And funny aside, every time Richard Spencer is brought up on /pol/ he gets called a plant and then those people are called trolls then there are people asking "where he came from" or stating "he came from nowhere" then someone posts a link to /pol/'s archive showing he has been around since 2007.   It's an amusing and illuminating process that I enjoy.
