if you're defending stupid things just because you can twist them into being ideological simpatico then you're bad
 
I mean in a lot of cases it is ascribing a totally ideological and even esoteric interpretation to what is commonly accepted to signal against it for snowflake points
 
In others it is taking accepted flaws with something (like the USSR being influenced by conservative Russian culture and that altering the expression of the ideology, or by presereving a vanguard class it wasnt real socialism) and casting those as not merely ackshully good and even worthy of emulation
